I'm fairly certain it was her attention span. She was still flying high with that "Cannot fail a speech check" scroll while that was a concern, and I'm fairly certain typing doesn't count for that scroll that clearly ran outta juice by then.

I am going to guess that it was Missy telling the PRT that she died and Magpie revived her. I can't see Missy not telling the PRT about that, and forcing the girl to admit that yes, she can revive people because she revived Missy.

Her corrupting influence is spreading to an innocent victim!
She must be stopped and her victim protected!

Watch it happening in the next episode of saving the Simurgh!

I do appreciate the (mostly) canon-compliant characterization of The Simurgh here. She's more humanized then canon, but is maintaining her canon motivations and goals at least. Also Addy is a fountain of memes, as expected. I do love how Glenn Chambers is taking more of a long-view then Cauldron, it really highlights how the main Cauldron council has kinda given up on winning. They see no point in planning for the long term, because to them there is no long term.

It has to do with how powers talk to each other and stuff
Shouldn't there have been much more of a reaction to a confirmation that powers are actual thinking beings?

The Fairy Queen would call her Queen Administrator if they ever meet
Again given who the Fairy Queen is I feel this is something people would focus on, especially because I can't really see Magpie keeping the who GU can leave the cage whenever she wants thing quiet.

Laser: Well Armsmaster has been busy lately due to injuries (he's got that sweet new robo-arm now) as well as working on stopping Bakuda (a crazy bomb tinker who also lives in BB). Plus I like to tinker in my underwear (unless I need to wear protective gear for some reason) cause I feel way more comfy like that, which means Armsie can't supervise since he's male so I get Dragon instead.
I do however wear Armsmaster brand panties when I tinker though, so he's there in spirit.
You did this like a direct continuation despite 300 pages having passed.

It still wasn't beating out the gif somebody had made of her doing the caramelldansen, but at this point he doubted anything would unless it was Magpie herself releasing a video of herself doing the dance.
She is totally going to do this, isn't she?

So long as nobody did anything stupid to alienate the girl it was likely she could be pulled in and stand as one of the future pillars keeping this mess of a society moving.
Like Cauldron trying to get her little sister's guardianship moved to someone else or kidnapping her little sister to a different dimension? Cauldron really are too stupid to live and I can't wait until Addy finally retaliates. I hope Simmy interferes in this idiocy.
she would need to keep an eye on that. Emotional emulation was dangerous if allowed to run too deep.
I'm sure there won't be any problems and nothing will slip by the Simurgh while she's got emotions.

Elysian Dragons are Best Dragons.

They are adorable and will give away their hoard to procure more party materials for everyone to enjoy! I WILL FIGHT FOR THE DUCKY-BILLED DRAGONS OF ELYSIUM!

I would have expected Caldron to immediately demand that HERO be brought back to life. Then again they are likely waiting for the master stranger testing results.

I am very happy that Eidolon has a sensible justification for not using tinker powers (if it is just bias, even better).
Also, poor Glenn Chambers. He really has his work cut out for him. Not as badly as the psychologists though. With her power interfering, how would you ever get Addy in a healthy state of mind? The only solution I can think of is tinkering up something that does it by accident.

"Leviathan is making an attack run on this city. This meeting is over. I have calls to make. You may see yourself out."

"I recommend doing so at top speed, but you're free to ignore my advice."

I don't have an accurate model of her the way I have Eidolon."

"Try to start building a behavioral model for her."

*Later*

"What have you learned?"

"Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder."

"...are you drunk?"

"I was hoping drunkenness and/or hallucinations would help me make sense of her actions. It didn't work."

I'm seeing signs that the connection between Addie and Simmie is a two way street. Corruption goes both ways

Simurgh may go from manipulative Engbringer pretending to be nice to Friendbringer for real.

Well good to see Cauldron is still stupid enough to base all their hopes on a hyper complex rube goldberg Thinker plan that was fed bad information.

We can push back the raid on Bakuda for now. Biotinkered monsters are far more of a threat to us, and probably this entire country, than one lone bomb tinker."

I hope this means Bakuda gets to set off her super bomb. I've only ever seen one other fic do that and a post emp Worm is such a cool concept.

Also I can easily see how a massive man hunt for a bio-tinker in the same city Echidna's in could go. That's going to be fun, plus another opportunity for Splyce to show up to a S-class truce.

And none of this was mentioning that kidnapping tinkers, giving them resources and then expecting them to work for you doesn't always work well. The only thing keeping her from vetoing the entire idea was that Magpie would be kept entirely offworld, meaning that she couldn't build anything too worrisome that could cause Cauldron trouble if they did that this option.

They already know that Addy can, using a scroll, be split in half and become TWO Addys. Plonking her down on another world and giving her tools is just asking for the Republic of Addy to form. The population would spike up and down depending on the amount of science unleashed, but I just can't help but think it's an incredibly poor plan. Well, most Cauldron plans can be called that, but this seems... exceptionally bad.
