The main thing I have problems understanding is where is Piggots evidence for Splices creatures being self replicating?
They would have to know to ask for a path to reviving their agents. Cauldron isn't omniscient. Contessa runs multiple paths all the time, like "Path to keeping Cauldron secret from wider public" and that's the extent of it. They also have spies and moles in every large parahuman group, like the PRT and Protectorate, but if no one brings the Vita Chamber to their attention, then they will never think to use it.
It doesn't happen in chapter, but author mentioned that sometime off screen they asked Dinah if it's possible for Splice's creatures to self replicate without input from the tinker, and there was too high of a chance for them to be comfortable with it. They haven't actually caught it happening, but Piggot is determined to act before it's TOO LATE (in her mind). She doesn't actually need solid evidence and she won't get in trouble for prematurely killing a biotinker.
Just imagine the crazy shit the US government gets away with in the real world, and it's pretty easy to imagine what the PRT could do when people are legitimately terrified of biotinkers.

Addy herself, ironically. The suits think that shes a precog. Missy (Blonde friend) took a picture of Addy's notebook, which was filled with pictures of Squittens and Catthulus, sometimes in various family units
Technically? Two separate precogs have "confirmed" that they are self-replicating - Addy's notebook drawings of a family of Cthulhu Kittens are CLEARLY her seeing them in the future, and Dinah has apparently confirmed there's a chance of them self-replicating without any input from Splice. Of course, one of these is actually just Addy being Addy, and the other doesn't take into account that "self-replication" is actually just "well they have starfish DNA so if you put them in a specialized tank then cut them up they can regrow into more than one".

I have an absolutely terrible idea for the next tree, Team Fortress 2.
Imagine: cabinets that fully heal whoever walks into them, sandwiches that put out people on fire, invisibility watches, a PDA that summons sentry guns out of stacks of metal, a wrench that literally performs percussive maintenance. Rereading the thread made me think about what would happen if ABB! Addy really happened.
just a funny imagined scene.
Addy will rebel and the successful change of regime lead to all ABB capes imprisoned.
And then rebuild the gangs into a new generation of Evil!
Evil Overlord Addy will lead above her throne surrounded by bishonen twink harem out of preteen girl horny dreams.
The new Azn Bad Boys will be literal, doing teenage delinquency, dressed unkempt, disorderly conduct, getting bad grades, jumping the queue; all kind of conducts frowned by Asian Parents.
All member under certain age will dress a la manga badboys, blond spiky hair, chains skull necklace, etc. girl will dress a la gyaru or yamanba something. (bleached hair, bright eyeshadows, black face, searing pink lipsticks...)
or maybe dressed a la bancho and sukeban out of gangster school movie.
As for other member of the ABB above the age line?
Certainly those criminal and recidivist would be quietly got rid of, be it in prison or in the box. While those whose crime were mild got asian hell punishment; the Black Company enlistment.
Work 9 to 9 six days a week on a tiny cubicle, minimum payment, with mandatory overtime and voluntary service.
What job? producing ACG goods.

Addy with zerg would go nucking futs and turn them into monsters that could not be beat alongside her sonnies edge tech i imagine a version of khanivore with all the features of deapsea doom adam slug (+plasmids), pistol shrimp (tentacle punch that ignites air), octupus (optical camo and bio luminescence),zerg chitin (nuff said), that whatever deapsea thing that lives off of magma vents and has shell/teeth harder than diamond and the size of a brutalisk with psionic powers augmented by the overmind brain shes made in the reservoir beneath brockton its basically endgame once she makes an abathur doll to pilot plus she can work kaydharin crystals into the zerg and make them even stronger
The beauty of zerg is that they need no maintenance once made and obey you like a hive mind so if she set them up beneath Brockton she can leave them there indefinitely while her economy grows maybe have them tunnel to the sea for that sweet genetic material
And if she can't get all of that done if she at least gets the basic zergness into khanivore it'll still be worth it uz now its basically immortal maintenance free and ever adapting so constantly growing stronger
And total control over her own biology after making herself queen of blades lite

I pity female tinkers. The moment they give birth to a girl they get an active kill order. After all, they are a tinker that just created a self-replicating biological organism. Sure, it will take over a decade before the said organism can replicate, but the ability is there. If you need any evidence about the dangers of those organisms, just look outside. A couple hundred of those replicated enough to take over an entire planet and are in the process of collapsing its biome.

Why tho? The risk/reward for "recruiting" Bakuda is very low. And you know that she wouldn't work willingly with them. The only way that it would work out is with the power of mind control, and even then, can we be sure that the shard would decide to continue if their host is doing the exact same thing over and over and over again?

Actually, its not that hard to frame Bakuda in such a way that her becoming a Hero is plausible. Just modify her Trigger a little so that its worse than just 'I DIDNT GET AN A?! DIE!', have her little temper tantrum be a result of Trigger Psychosis and get her away from Lung quicksharp so he doesnt have time to break her. I have seen a couple of fics where Bakuda ended up joining the heroes through various means, including one where she was the love interest of the protagonist and had a giant tank on legs.
