FATHER QUEST - A Cartoon Network: Villains Victorious CK2-Style Quest Cross Over

I think I gotta stick with Hex. I don't really want The Jack Of All Trades I want a master of artifacts that we can use on our people and our stuff. I also prefer the story connections to Legerdomain, Ben 10, and Secret Saturday more than I do Monarch and The Guild (also whatever the hell was going on with his former student and wife.)

I might as well argue my case as well.

My plans purpose is to give us more general build up and bridge building with another king that we can ally with, while not completely abandoning the gem war. By investigating and studying the gem tech, we can gain advantages on future anti gem actions without having to use our martial action, because we can't just rely on father's power in martial sadly, and building up a force of trained fighters will be useful for dealing with attacks on our territory when we aren't nearby.

I want to investigate the KND manual because It will be the start of getting access to quests in all likelihood

And I'm trying to contact katz representative because Katz is a King that we don't have any direct opposition with yet. It would be good to get an in with at least one king, because as is we might end up getting dog piled if we ever do decide pissing off another king is a good idea

Reminder that Katz held Muriel hostage and was ready to murder her because he got salty that her jam recipe won over his. And we have a lot of food focus.

Sweet. Don't forget to put out your vote now that Moratium is over. O.P.A.L has basically the same beats as S.H.A.T.T.E.R.P.O.I.N.T, but with a Hex recruitment and grabbing a News Network as a bonus. :D

We are pretty much hyperfocused on the ice cream and frozen treat/candy tree of foods for the actual food tech tree, and katz never showed much interest in that in the show. He was big into savory foods more

My plan for the gems in the future is to force them into an armistice if not a full on peace treaty after laying the hurt on them for at least one more turn. Hopefully the gem tech or spying will open up some different avenues into combatting them, because I agree that Martial is hotly debated right now and we should probably get on that lawn before long.

My eventual goal is for Peridot to look at her position, see that she's being backed into a corner, has no support incoming, and most importantly, has a way out. If we try to back them into the corner and grind them into dust they'll fight like cornered rats, but if we offer an avenue of escape cooler heads should prevail.

And if they don't, well, that's on them.

I would prefer Hex over Dr. Orpheus, on the basis that we seem to be leaning toward joining the Guild of Calamitous Intent. From what I understand Dr. Orpheus is an enemy of them specifically, and that sounds like a loyalty issue that would be a pain to navigate. For similar reasons, I think we should probably prioritize getting more info on the Guild before throwing our lot in with the government too much, so that we don't get locked into one side before we've investigated our options thoroughly.

I also think we should be hunting down the remnants of the KND at the moment. The more KND operatives are at large, the more opportunities our enemies will have down the line to get intel on us from them, and we should cut off that possibility before we start picking fights. What's more, there's a serious danger that they'll ally themselves with one of the other Kings who's already inclined to be our enemy rather than sit around waiting for us to fight them.

Other than those specific details, I figure we should be focusing on gathering information right now. We've dealt with most of the immediate problems, so it's a good opportunity for laying the groundwork for making informed decisions in the future.

I'd really like to take Cut the Lawn, because its DC is also going up and I feel 'clear out potential annoyances/threats from our territory' is a bit more urgent than 'fight against a faction that at least a few others are already fighting', but I can see that's not really popular now.

I'll go with OPAL, as I want Hex and it puts Toiletnator on an easier action.

I really think people are underestimating the need to have at least some reassurance that we can handle a bad christmas. If it goes poorly, it could cause immense damage to our territory

Jam is... not savory at all... It's mostly sugar by volume.

Not really, I doubt Orpheus would want us as an arch or vice versa, and he certainly didn't seem to begrudge Dr. Venture for having one. Hell, he was kind of jealous up until he got his own, I could see him understanding that we want to get in on the action too.

Are you referring to the action to train ice cream men?...in stopping possible Santa's?

Why would those be more important than our already built flaming robot knights? It really feels like the ice cream men actively wouldn't matter in that situation as I doubt a Santa would be stopped by ice cream.

The jam episode also had Katz Kandy as his one of his businesses which was an entire candy store. He seems to be focusing on food in general which involves sweets under that umbrella.

The reason to do it is because the Ice Cream men are Fathers human military, as goofy as that is. And having a trained defense force will be important for if we are, say, attacked by an army.

And remember, this is a setting where candy is a effective weapon. Ice cream based weaponry is absolutely viable

Listen, its the only diplomatic option we've gotten so far with anybody directly connected to another king. I want to at least somewhat try and gather allies, and unless another option pops out of the woodwork thats the best choice we've been given

Working with either the US government or Providence would be better off rather than trying to cater to another King, especially one that's willing to stab you in the back like Katz.

Especially since the Providence DCs are low and we can absolutely recruit Mr. Black and Mr. White after Occult unit pick up turn which is already a foot in the door with another faction.

I'm not disputing that. Hell it's a semi-effective weapon against Father himself. I'm disputing it'd be handy on Santa. The dudes that live in the poles for fun.
Well, one of the Santa's is a robot, and melted ice cream would gum his mechanisms up
One of the Santa's is a vampire, and as such creates minions. Garlic flavored ice cream would deal with them handily
