Even if we can still recruit Spankulot, which sounds like copium to me but whatever, we're still gonna have to incinerate any other EVO's that may pop up here. Maybe cook this place down to the foundation if we have too.
 
Earlier today I was thinking about how it was sad this quest died because Father was on the cusp of a lot of character development.

Now it's updated.

It would take some SERIOUS bullshit to recruit him as he is now. If he were one of the rare EVOs who kept their intelligence, maybe. But as an unthinking abomination?

The 'normal' option to Cure an EVO is Rex Salazaar, who is either dead or in hiding from both Providence and Van Kleiss. The only other GR canon option, aside from the one off cures that got destroyed by the end of their episodes, would be the Meta-Nanites, which we have no idea where to start looking.

Magic MIGHT be an option.

Edit: Also, to be frank, if we had the Meta-Nanites the quest would be over because holy fuck those things are broken. The only thing on the planet that MIGHT still be a threat is Aku himself.

We could maybe find a cure, and I now really want to move "research this shit" up our priority list, albeit more for development then anything else. But that's a BIG "maybe" right there, and, frankly, who even knows?

Father really doesn't want to admit things are different and he has to change. Which is understandable.

I really like how this was done. And I look forwards to seeing what happens next with the vampires.

The side story was also pretty nice too but I am all about seeing what happens with EVOkulot.
 
Well damn, there goes spankulot. Its possible we may not have to put him down depending on if Superjail has the capacity to contain evo's, based on the wardens reality warping I wouldn't be surprised, but he's definitely off the recruitment list.

Hopefully with our high roll well get something out of it even with spankulot neutralized. Maybe get some progress on father giving up his old bullshit and growing up, seems like every turn ends up slapping him with the fact he needs too after all.

Also, I imagine the propaganda comic that the government will put out after this will be a real page turner if father stops the spread before it gets out of the prison. THE FLAME OF JUSTICE vs THE STINGING PLAGUE. WATCH! as americas greatest hero defends the innocent American populous from the scourge of the EVO menace!

Edit: Also, I'm picturing like, a bony vampire bat monster with a gas mask like face with teeth instead of a filter from that description, which I'm surprised I haven't seen before. Those long gas mask protrusions would make excellent like, leech like mouths for a horror monster

I don't believe Evos go to Superjail, I believe that Providence is going to lock the place up.
 
EVOs usually just get Merked on sight, if unable to be captured. And Superjail wouldn't surprise me if they did indeed have EVOs lurking though that rainbow hell hole. The Warden probably finds it really fun.
 
Probably for the best that any future visit someone in prison options be handled as soon as possible since otherwise a destructive breakout might occur if we sit on it.

Any time prisons show up in cartoons, there will almost be a breakout when it's not an end of the episode behind bars scene.

Eh, The Beast and Anti-Pops are also pretty fucked, even if Anti-Pops' ennui mostly limits him to simply not containing the eldritch hazards of The Regular Zone and the Beast's subtlety and dimensional remove make him less notable.

I think you may be underestimating Anti-Pops, the Lich, the Hand of Horror and probably a couple other threats I'm less familiar with.
 
Yeah, we'd need Rex or someone if we want to cure Spankulot. And he's frankly terrifying at the moment so taking him down alone would be an effort, let alone keeping his contained. Maybe some research into nanites could help us give him some form of sanity back but that seems like it'd be a long shot that's take a lot of investment that others may not want to put in.

Still I hope we can do something for our vampire buddy. He was an ally and perhaps even friend.

I'd like to do some research into nanobots next turn, but more out of a desire to push Father's character development IE him coming to terms with this, then because I think it'll help much.

Could always try to get our hands on a guy I spoke of in the discord, Braden Moses from Generator Rex. Dudes a scientist/scam artist but notably actually can do work on the nanites. Good mix of competent but not competent to really make it on his own as well if I'm reading him right.
 
Times moved on and Spanky didn't have a chance to catch up. Besides he realised that before he went EVO.

Father is a family man. And he might not have ever been to Hawaii but Ohana means family and family means no one gets left behind. That is what being a Father means!
