FATHER QUEST - A Cartoon Network: Villains Victorious CK2-Style Quest Cross Over

[x] Plan: Operation R.I.P.O.S.T.E.

I think I would've chosen the anti-scrying option for intrigue but other than that I have no complaints about this plan.

Hey, you guys ever realise all the shit going on at home have been fairly... mystically oriented?

First the Jersey Devil Knock Off tried to kill us, then the Mind Control that needs Magic to Break, and most recently a literal Yokai haunting our bathrooms. Also Abracadaver was roaming around.

Well considering fathers more mystic nature I'm not that shocked, just glad we haven't got some of the far more dangerous mystics not to say that the yokai and jersey devil aren't dangerous but it isn't the ones with brute force I'm scared of its the ones who are clever.

Theres one big issue.

The KND doesn't DO magic. I can't think of a single Agent who actually knows magic, and normally when Magic is involved its a villain such an Heinrich usuing it against the KND.

The KND seems to have gotten a magical sponsor.

Do you think there might be fae out there cause I know fae would just love the knd.

Are there any Kings with good Occult that would help the KND cause with a good Occult they could just use their magics for outsorcing to something a bit less dangerous.
Off the top of my head, not counting Tez or Juniper since theyre more recent additions, i can think of 3.

Mandy, Argost, and Boogey.

Mandy is a kid herself and may or may not have taken over the KND before, Argost would be using them as agents to try and get something from us, and Boogey is, by default, Kuki's boss.

I mean I don't see Mandy as the type of person who lets others do something she could do herself and she has given us a gift aswell, now the other two might hold more merit so i guess we will see if they have someone pulling the strings to fight us now.

---[x] Visit Spankulot in Prison
---[x] Do Some Paperwork
---[x] Recruit a Hero: Daphne Blake 👻
--[x] [🥩] Hank Hill - (Shadow Father: Recruit a Hero: Daphne Blake 👻)
I will say, this plan gives me an idea for the future (IE Turn 8 most likely): Namely, have Hank use his PAnext turn to look into the Guild, and then, turn after, have him Shadow Father as he visits Spankulot. Having Hank have an idea what the modern supervillain scene looks like could help him help Father adjust....Hm...

[x] Plan: Operation R.I.P.O.S.T.E.

The Anti-KND action is a big selling point for me, we've gotta eradicate them or they'll just keep making things worse. Monty might have started (this generation) of the war between kids and adults, but we'll end it.

Other than that, I can also agree with the plan to try and get our rage up so we can hit Jasper with Father at his angriest. If we go up a rage tier that alone gives us +10 Martial, making up for not using the Most Dissatisfied bonus on Jasper. If we somehow go up two tiers, well, we'd be hitting +72 Martial in a straight fight (37 base +5 combat +30 rage). Might as well try and get the most out of having our rage so high, after all.

Honestly, i'm hoping we don't max it out. As awesome as the +72 is, it isn't worth rendering our other stats terrible for a turn. Going up a tier might be good though. Let's just make sure we have a cooldown action built in to next turn's plan.

I think reaching Peak Rage could be its own reward. Not just for entertainment value I mean, it'll be good to get there just to see if that effects anything, see if we have new actions, or if it gets rid of any, stuff like that.

Entertainment value cannot be understated by the way, I think it'd be very fun to read.

I mean, if you consider a house fire fun. As much as it's a source of power, at the moment, max-Rage feels likely to be more trouble than it's worth. There are foes against which i'd be willing to bust out PEAK RAGE, but Jasper? Ain't one. Go up one more tier, then COOL DOWN a little. Actually, i'd kinda be more interested in the opposite IE what happens if we go BELOW our base rage. Get Father in a more intelligent, calculating mood. The good news is, our base Martial is so high that even a -15 isn't crippling, unlike the penalties from max rage.

Plus with Jasper around, Father has good reason to go all the way.

I don't think Jasper is worth rendering everything else we try to do that turn awful, and potentially, ya know, murdering everything that happens to be in our vicinity. Part of why I agreed with the practice action is because i'm hoping we can gain some sense of CONTROL.
