Actually I think we should keep that one. Even if it's more advanced tech it's a foundry. We should not use a means of production for a bonus that isn't establishing means of production.
hmm.. reasonable its just that I feel that that particular item is effectively tier 5 or 6 and we are stuck at tier 1, making it more of a space hog than anything that could reasonably be expected to be used in the next decade.

The way I see it is that the artifact requires at least five general electronic researches to be completed, followed by a few programming ones and then capped off with highly advanced computers and other such things. Basically I feel that using it for its designated purpose is massively inefficient with our general rate of advancement in that field. I am however willingly to swap it out for a different artifact.

Replaced it with Dilapidated Prosthetic.

He would spend the next three hours lecturing two very intimidated Pilgrims about the need to respect a holy scripture, in all its forms, and without fail, bringing to bear the experience of a life-long preacher. A situation that caused quite a broad circle to form around the three, Mar glaring harder at Sahla, and Sahla looking like a condemned on his way to the chopping block.

This is utterly ridiculous and I love it.

I see what you did there, Cooky.

Alhas chuckled at that, "If it is relevant, I am gay. Couldn't knock a girl up on accident.

snerk

"Oh, that's easy. I thought you were hot," Sahla replied cheerfully. "...I am old enough to be your father," Alhas deadpanned, unamused. "So, I have to call you, daddy?" Sahla replied, grinning broadly, causing Alhas to groan in exasperation. "This had been a solemn conversation. Why did you have to ruin it? Now fuck off before I make you." "That's the spirit!"

This whole scene is a facepalm while laughing hysterically.

In response, Nexa snorted, "Shouldn't have read all that goatshit about 'Pregnancy Complications' that gets sold to idiots. Man, you are smarter than this; the idea that something happens while giving birth is laughable.

Nexa. Nexa, no. That's not how things work, Nexa. Especially in a post-apocalyptic world, Nexa. You should know better. And if you do know better and are lying to make him stop worrying, shame on you.

He would never forget this moment, recalling it in the moment of his death.

Annnnnd yep. That seems about the right reaction for Martyris.

No Boni apply. Must have forgotten to add that.

Edit: fixed.

Well, that makes my desire to take that action every turn irrational, but no less extent.

I WANTS IT.

In any case, a thoroughly enjoyable turn. I'll have tou know I regret nothing, HeroCooky!

Interesting that Alhas' recruitment was more of a slow burn than the rumour might have implied. I wonder how long he'd been friends with Sahla when he read the pamphlet in question.

Here's the translation of what the Knight spit out. According to google translate it was russian. The disproportionate damage and internal decay could be a result of whatever this "poison" is/was in the Nucleus (which may or may not mean the Core). Fuel and Vitae being listed separately might mean that theres two different types of fluid required for it's function, no clue about the "Fax Fernalis" though. Closest guess would be "infernal flame/torch".

Where are you seeing her stats?
This was under the heroes drop-down.
Child: Silvia - Mutated Girl - 1-Month-Old
Your first child! She is in every aspect, perfect! Her legs and ears are like her mothers, even if her fur is completely obsidian. She has two horns growing above and swinging around her head in a tiny semi-circle, looking like a regal crown with the spikes atop (even if it makes putting a shirt on a pain), framing her golden hair. She does have a rather long tail, furred like a Sweden forest cat (the fur is obsidian again), which means you need to get a tailor for her pants. The only problem is her grey eyes. She seems unable to focus or follow anything, but that is probably due to her young age, right?

Well, expect the Bunker.
Except
Modular Bridge - 5.94 - + 20 to Advanced Machinery
Actuator - 7.92 - +20 to Hydraulics
Shouldn't we have gotten another 2 artifacts? We rolled a 4.
Upkeep: 0.48 Materials per Turn, max. of 0.15 Materials per Combat.
Upkeep: Free (Scavenger Past Unit)
Tech-Scouts upkeep is on the Unbroken.
[ ] Ailments Of The Mind
Neither of these show what artifacts can be used, was that intentional?
Reward: 1 New Unit (Size 6/6) at Militia (2/6)
Can we change the unit size to be 12/12 like the Unbroken or perhaps even bigger?
Please remind us of how we are supposed to re-equip our units and if it takes an action.

Is there any way to improve the odds of breaking into the bunker besides grinding the action?

First of all; *Unholy Squeeing lasting several years* OMG!!!! Our first child! So CUTE! So ADORABLE! So AWESOME! Let us protect here and Selene with Martyris' life!!!!

Second of all; Gah crud, the little one's stonking well blind! This is gonna make things complicated, isn't it? Well, nothing we can do about it, I suppose.

1. Nexa. Nexa, no. That's not how things work, Nexa. Especially in a post-apocalyptic world, Nexa. You should know better. And if you do know better and are lying to make him stop worrying, shame on you.

1. Maybe on a post-apocalytic pseudo-medieval earth, but not on a post-apocalyptic pseudo-medieval calynth! Before all the things caught fire, genetic modifications were easy to implement. Add a nice regenerative factor, overproduction of antibodies, some slight internal re-arrangement, some local painkiller production, and some minor details, and viola. A birthing process that is not a biological fuck-up of the highest order.

And Nexa is actually right. A child or mother dying at birth is so rare that it is recorded as a freak accident within hospitals.

(Also, if I can get away with canon anime-hair, then I am gonna take that and get away with chucking birth-related deaths out of the window.)

Kinda funny that that scene is what caught your eye, and not Selene walking out of the room after giving birth 20 minutes ago.

2. I, too, do not regret a single sentence!

3. About three weeks. He had nothing to do, couldn't sleep, and the unread pamplet started to bother him. He still thinks that the drawings are ridiculous.

I too wish to subscribe to this newsletter.
1. Fixed. Thank you.

2. Yes, the Lances have their base requirement done (Electronics pt.1), amd the latter only needs a starting point to get off the ground.

3. You need much more military-experience. Give it a couple of fights and the option should pop up.

4. No action required, that would be idiotic. I mean, it is literally a walk to the armory!

Anyway, like this: [Martial] (Unit Name) Equip (Equipment)

5. You could hire a Forge-Clan mining Unit? Gets you three % progress. Or you could use the internet to figure out a way on how to bust open heavy metal doors. Use your imagination, it's not like the Bunker will walk away.

Oh no, I noticed that too. However, this has lead me to believe that that sort of birth is actually possible in the 99.9th percentile of "easy births", but pretending that pregnancy complications didn't exist struck me as much more completely impossible.

At least, prior to learning all humans are now genetically modified. :p

Or you could use the internet to figure out a way on how to bust open heavy metal doors. Use your imagination, it's not like the Bunker will walk away.

...it's possible you may regret unleashing this, Cooky. :V

Here's my current plan. Lock and Key and Light it Up to improve our security, scouting TOP-03 to know what we are dealing it, and I'm selling a copy of the recipe unless anyone has any objections. One of our personal actions is going on Keeping Cool to try to improve our financial situation a little more.
Any suggestions for second personal action?

btw QM a suggestion for specialists/experts, use only one of each kind for rolling to stop potential bloat and to justify the 4S not rolling +300 or more on their research.

Maybe on the Forge Clan action to see if we can get extra relations? Or kicking the COE for extra damage.
Which forge clan action? There is one there already for selling a copy. We probably can't kick COE twice in the same turn, unless you mean exfiltrate or a faith action to further drop their influence.
Will do that, but you are (at the moment) hardlocked at a maximum of 4 scientists/doctors.
Gotcha. I remember you stating at one point that the Empire tried researching into steam tech but that it didn't have much success, has anything changed?

They still explode, or lose steam. But they are sure they will figure it out within the next ten years.
Doesn't a personal action add a bonus to a general action? Like lending our help to another action?
Only if Too Much To Do is used to undertake that action.

Edit: Derp, you meant Lead By Example, didn't you?
