Civil war? It wasn't Enden death wail on the region wasn't it?
Nope, that was a conflict between the late Empress Liana (Mother of current Emperor Elianus) with her brother (Maximilian III) who went full on "mad" by using a slave-collar Artifact (note the uppercase) to get a massive army and secure the throne with his "allies" (note the "") against his sister.

And his seat of power was in tresen or this war fucked ove all the regions?

And his seat of power was in tresen or this war fucked ove all the regions?
His seat was in the Obsidian Shallows Region, but you are right in that the war fucked over all Regions.

The Empire had a population of around ~350 million before the Civil War, with it now (~70 years) later just reaching ~300 again.

You can see the damage by reading the city descriptions in the Glossary under Empire of Slatnan. As well as Maximilian III being noted for completely emptying several Regions of all people within.

[X] Ju-Ji's Hall

The Houses Ju-Ji, Ali-Na-Hammadi-Nasir, Lo Hou Mu, and Chy Chi have already radioed back their thanks and gratitude for the generous aid given to their people in this time of need, citing that "many thousands of lives were saved and tens of thousands helped by the prompt aid given by examples of Imperial Unity."

For reasons being that we just saved their asse, thus a big plus for us being neighbors. And because, having a slice of that sweet sweet steel industry, does wonders for our RnD.

Oh, geothermals = hot springs, so we can get that market squared up unless someone else has beaten us to it.

[X] Bone Valley

For synergy with Ju-Ji's Hall! Turn that steel into sweet moneys or to fabricate rockets for our long term goal of colonizing space!

[X] Slatnans Womb

Gotta get more mechs for PD's mech association!

But do they produce Awakened Machine Core Minds tho?
I don't think anyone can produce Awakened Core Minds. No one understands how a machine mind awakens, and the ones that exist are not particularly sane either. The DoD's mind is apparently the standard for mental stability and coherency. PD and emoji core are outliers in that department.

So sadly, no mech assosiation any time soon. And the best place to find new cores are Necropolis.

This expedition is definitely going to be talked about for a while and may just get put in a history book somewhere due to its sheer size.

Not really. Unless we are talking about history books focusing on the history of the Pilgrims, cause a caravan of 200 is in the lower-upper level of size for caravans.

For it to go into a genuine non-specific history book you'd need a size of about 50.000.

Religions send out expeditions like you just did all the time, it's nothing special all things considered.

13 percent of an entire cult just decided to pull up stakes and settle else where. Thats a pretty decent number for a small cult that hasn't been around long. Thats all I'm saying.

It'll be relevant from an Internal National Politics standpoint, but if we're looking at history books in a hundred years then at best the specifics aren't going to be written down, unless they stumble into some Adventures and Imperial Rescuing.

I rather have the methodical way we do things. since we actually get results, instead of playing hero.

Interlude - A New Destiny
Scout Reports On The Possible Regions Of Expansion

Ju-Ji's Hall
The earthquake that hit the Region seems to be more along the lines of superficial catastrophic damage rather than full-on damage to infrastructure, industry, and life. The most notable sign of such is the relatively relaxed attitude most among the Region have regarding the earthquake, saying that they are glad that only a tiny outlying part of the Region has been hit instead of a more central area. Their words, as callous as they may appear to us, have a nugget of truth with them, as most of the caverns and paths affected are being rapidly cleared, with the damaged machinery slated to be replaced within two years at the latest. Additionally, programs and already existent funds have ensured that many affected could avoid poverty and hunger, with most being ebbed over by other Region' donations helping them for the immediate future until the gears of bureaucracy speed up to begin distributing food and bodies.

Sunken Hollows
When we left, Sunken Hollows was on a complete war footing due to a Dreadnought emerging from ancient and forgotten ruins and factories, rising tall above the toxic bogs stretching over much of the lands between the inhabitable islands dotted with industry and fortifications. The so-called "Enigma-Engine" is a known phenomenon in the Region, usually emerging every fifty years from one corner or another of the Necropolis lying sunken and choked on plants and refuse underneath the Region. While by no means something that can be discarded as a threat due to its routine emergence, the defenses and armaments of the Regions are always re-built and improved to ensure that any new emergence can be killed or destroyed as quickly and with as few casualties as possible. Due to this version of the Enigma-Engine possessing energy shields, the Forge-Clan Conclave housing the combined representatives of all Forge-Clans has officially rolled out war machines and armaments that even in war aren't used due to their destructive potential and cost of repair and munition. Unfortunately, our expedition would arrive far too late to partake in the battle or any of the looting rights afforded to those participating in it against the Enigma-Engine. However, we could always see if any scrap is left after the fighting has died down and the big loot has been distributed.
(Scout Event Triggered: Loot! Technology! Artifacts!)

Slatnans Womb
Slatnans Womb had had little upset or danger for the last few generations, with most news of strife and turmoil coming from outside the Arcology and laboratories making up the only city within the Region. Most people here enjoy a level of wealth unmatched by most outside the Capital itself, mainly due to the wise leadership of House Stonecrest and the wealth afforded by being the leading exporter of spices, herbs, and a major exporter of food feeding many Regions within their immediate area. On that note, there is currently a slight confusing panic among those involved in food production and the shipping of such, as the Region Bone Valley has refused the caravan's entry to Hal. This wouldn't be a big deal if the Region and the nine million people living in the city weren't entirely depending on the shipments to feed themselves. To say that this is a Very Not Good Thing would be a massive understatement, as the Region is already struggling under extreme poverty and lacks many vital things such as clean water for most of the population. As the scouts and Pilgrims, we implore you to strongly consider Bone Valley as the target of expansion, as something very bad is happening within the Region, and we have the materials to at least ensure the suffering is limited in its scope!

Even as the caravan makes its way out onto the road surrounded by cheers and families and friends wishing one last goodbye before it is too late, a singular person at the head of the mass of lizards and wagons stands out for the crowds. Not because of any glowing halo above their body, ancient machinery adorning them, or fancy clothes, nor due to any injury or something visible to the eye for the attending Pilgrims.

No, what makes this singular person stand out for many is the role they have been chosen for, the one they accepted after being presented with the vote of confidence by both the leaving Pilgrims and the Council.

Because this person at the head that looks back at the shrinking Tree of Knowledge until the mountains and hills block their sight has been chosen and elected to perform a vital role for the new Chapter.

They will be their Adjudicator, keeping it on its path and away from falling into hatred and perversion of the Pilgrim Doctrine.

But who are they?
