Shockingly, considering her parents went at each other like rabbits and never considered calming down for even a pico-second since meeting, neither Silvia Jr. nor Markus have done The Deed yet. Theirs is the ultimate Slow Burn Romance; fifteen years to handholding, and, Path Willing, only fifteen more for a kiss!
I am still surprised with Silvia's lack of siblings, truly the blessing of archeotech birthcontrol

Wasn't Silvia rendered infertile after the assassination attempt on the Pilgrims so early in the quest?

As for Markus and Silvia Jr's rate of progression I attribute it to Lord Crinkle doing the heavy lifting as the royal cockblock. If not for him I'd be guessing they'd be rushing the wedding date by now.

Presumably that should be Raising. Or maybe they are shocking the new unit as training?

We could use a donation Action with this. The current Cardinal takes his duties seriously and I think they did help out with us sending relief effort to that other Region that got hit by an earthquake.

'Gravimetric Calculations' Book - 75.00 - +50 to Pioneer Suspendium
'The Rustle of the Leaves' - ??.?? - +100 to Pioneer Suspendium/Psychology
2 Books to boost Suspendium research, but-
"Holy Text of the Tiny Snake God" - 11.76 - +20 to Advanced Psychology
I would also like to get this one into the Library. Last time we researched this book we got some invisi-text.

Theater, too, is for many a way to escape life for a few hours, or merely one, depending on the play and troupe, with plays as shabby as simply two people in cheap costumes and cheaper props enacting a half-remembered play or as extravagant as the Grand Imperial Theater Coliseum that uses in-built hard-light projectors and Cores to display scenes of battle and valleys of romantic love.
Hmm, another project for the Culture District.

Martial: To live, you need power, for which you need knowledge. Luckily, you have the latter in spares. (Choose 1 Action)
Tempted to make another military unit and send them to Broken Crossroads. The ? on their Guarding Our People project is problematic.

395x Bunker Electronic Artifacts - 1.74 - +5 to Electronics
Another error. You forgot to subtract the x15 spent for the Electronics Theory.

-[] [Library] Attach 'Gravimetric Calculations' and 'The Rustle of the Leaves' to open slots
Both to boost Suspendium research? The third slot is currently filled with "Eternium" +50 to Pioneer Medicine/Chemicals/Biology/Psychology.
Which only boosts mortar research during this Turn. Still curious what happens if we put "Holy Text of the Tiny Snake God" into the library, but its not like that would boost any of the current projects either.

Hmm, the Herbalist slot during this Turn is already taken. I assume the Merchants already help her automatically. (And I just noticed the Faith to the People Action. Neat.) Maybe we could use a few Caravaners to move the relief goods?

Why this project? Fortification for the other Pilgrim Chapters? At least that's what it sounds like for static mortars. Gasses Long Forgotten and the sleep grenades might be more useful for gang wars, though.

Oh, and this new Research Project:
[ ] The Little Crystal That Could Pt.3 - (Pioneer Physics)
Okay, they work by liquid Jewel propelling shaped crystals alongside a path set by a plasma matrix acting as their brain. This matrix is, apparently, a biological copy of an existing construct within the Machinery Cavern where we found the little things, formed by an artificial means we do not understand. What we do understand is that the Living Crystals are capable of reasoning, observation, and reacting to outside stimuli. They also despise the color yellow-sand.
(Chance: -83/-137/-374 for 1/2/3 Successes, Successes needed: 210
Reward: Unlock the next stage to study and examine the Living Crystals within the Machinery Caverns by figuring out how they can think. It will also massively improve your understanding of physics and plasma.)
Notice: Breakthrough Research! +5% to Physics Success Chances every 10 Successes!)
Doesn't this imply there is a giant plasma brain in the Machinery Cavern? One that we might be able to talk with?

Hence, 'to open slots.' And no, it's Advanced Chemicals, so Eternium doesn't apply here.

Well, we already have our standard mortars to do the job there. My main intent is to pair it up with the power armor and coilgun projects all finished this turn, so that we can gift all the new schematics to the military for Goodwill and give them a general boost.

@HeroCooky Would the mortar and power armor research projects produce stuff that non-Forge Clans in the Empire can produce, like our coilguns?
Or would we need some form of project to simplify stuff so people without our Artisanal Quarters or Forge Clan level Electronics Manufacture can make the stuff?

Presumably, the army would want massive amounts of both and the example of power armor in use we know about are the Rabbitaurs, which are a special case due to being royal guards

Basically, if it's not mass production-feasible level, it'll say so in the project description. At least, that's the sense I've gotten.

with how the Mutated pop up even in the one city they are not allowed in, as an example, I wonder if everyone on the planet is a Mutated.

cognitive bias is a thing. and a loss of history and culture as well. because if this is not futur Earth, humanity might of adapted itself to life on an alien world with an alien sun and biome. And I am sure inherited genemods could still undergo mutation, evolution, and degradation over thousands of years.

(I eas a little too distracted to read some of the info post, so I don't know if I am getting something very wrong here.)

They are. The difference is in if those mutations are active, noticeably, hidden, or dormant. Some Mutated are barely recognizable as humanoids, some are more weird mutants, others straight from fantasy and culture like satyrs (like Selene/Silvia Jr.) or lamias, while others have their mutations internal (hyper-active livers, multiple hearts, better healing, etc.) or dormant, waiting for the next generation.

was this something the questers asked before or theorized? as I might of missed it while working on stuff.

but I am glad I realized it in the end.

Yeah, I considered them when I'm creating characters for my omakes.

For example, Wiljem and Willow are twins, but only Wiljem got any mutations.

Tahmid's mutation is actually among the weakest he could have. Unless Cooky rejects the idea, one of his ancestors was a full on shapeshifter.

And their adopted son Laz'ro is an innate swimmer becuase his family was full of fish/amphibian mutations.
