Rumors:
News From The Sunset War - The Tessen Speaker
Another round of battles rocks the Eversun Territories, though little information could be gleamed due to rumors of chemical weapons used in sieges and warfare. Most other factions have consolidated their gains and losses, with the SBA establishing forward operating bases to fortify their gains and start preparations for another push into Eversun territory. Finally, a few scattered news have reached us regarding the slave-uprisings, all of them inspirational and relieving. It seems that the Goddess Fractal Nova and her Cults managed to reach the uprising in time, brutally slaughtering the armies of the Eversun trying to put them down. A massive portion of the freed people is already retreating from the Region, with most fighters swearing allegiance toward Fractal Nova. Casualty Estimates have been pinned at 130.000 for this season for all factions combined.

Thousand Villages Strike Back - The Truthful Observers
Despite the slow trickle of reliable information about the Thousand Village-Dul War, it seems that the recent battles have decisively turned against Dul, their gains within the Eastern Dunes rolled back, turning their creeping advance into a short rout as almost 277.000 troops were stranded and harried by Knights and soldiers all the way back to friendly lines.

Flying Islands Sighted - Rags, Rumors, And Rants
Traveling merchants from the east have reported a bizarre phenomenon. Namely, they swore upon their honor, families, and (what made us believe them in the first place) their money that what they saw was the truth and not merely a drug-induced illusion or hallucination. What they swear upon, you may ask? Flying. Islands. No, really! Over seven caravans have all sworn up and down that they have sighted the flying pieces of rock within the sky drifting within the wind and over the horizon during their travels. However, how can one take such seriously when the very laws of physics would see these islands come crashing down? It's not like you can just turn off gravity at a whim!

Region Report/s
While things are tense within Bone Valley, it seems that, slowly, everything is returning to a 'normal' as some of our neighbors have described to us. As far as we understand, the Regions troubles began around seventy years ago.
An unknown author by the pen-name of Irina wrote a series of manifests and booklets outlining their discontent and disapproval of how the Houses and Forge-Clans are operating, alongside a general hatred of the working conditions. They also described their overuse of debt-bondage as 'forced voluntary slavery' due to the unavoidable nature of taking loans for many families and Clans within the lower strata of Hal, providing hundreds of cases and stories with one of their manifestos. These writings found very fertile ground, with a strike being organized within all factories and manufacturies, as well as mines and workshops of Hal. This strike was put down violently and with lethal weapons used in spades.
This, to say mildly, caused a riot.
Around twenty thousand people died as the riot was crushed, with the Knight-Chapter Last Light disapproving of the number of casualties, alongside the brutality. However, this disapproval turned into sheer hatred and outrage as the Houses proceeded to
'make examples of' the families and friends of the rioters and
'treasonous rebels' within Hal. Usually, such was done by either public executions, putting them into suspended cages to die of thirst and let their bodies rot and be eaten by wildlife until they were gone, or pushing them from the bridges in massive numbers. By the Houses report, the total number of casualties is around thirty thousand
'rebels and dissenters,' with the people saying they were more around fifty to sixty thousand. During such purges, the Houses made sure to target any Mutated and all that associated with them they could find. Yet, they
also used Mutated in slightly higher social positions or desperate enough to take the work by using them to carry out the strike-breaking operations and executions. As a result, they, and their families, were richly rewarded with both houses in higher areas, lifting them from poverty and lifting restrictions from those
'true children of the Empire that hold against the rebel and traitor,' creating a stark rift between those that suffered under the Houses and those that benefitted. Several of our Mutated have reported being harassed or questioned about their un-starved nature by locals, some asking why a
'Houser' is '
Down here with us' while brandishing weapons. Luckily, these incidents have all but vanished as the locals have grown to know us.
However, since the massacres, the Chapter Last Light has been at near hostile odds with the local Houses, more than willing to kill their troops and auxiliaries if they found reason to do so. However, the Houses deny such happening to avoid any Imperial Censure or pay pensions and benefits to the remaining families of the killed.
During the next seventy years, until today, the writings of Irina have coalesced into an ideology calling itself Irinism, proclaiming that all people are entitled to the whole fruit of their labor, with none having to work for the
'privilege' to live. However, several features of the ideology are still confusing or contradictory to us, so I will inform you when we have attained clarity for them.
In the meantime, we have begun to rapidly organize a militia to secure against the number of gangs within the area as they have seen the 'riches' we carried with us. In addition, the Council has decided that food independence is critical, paying massive amounts of money and materials for the local Forge-Clans for industrial hydroponics, which, once built, should allow us to both feed around 2.000 people and sell enough medicine and luxury crops to pay for maintenance and have a reliable income ready.

The Marquis of Tessen is finishing their renovations of road infrastructure around Tessen, with new lines being planned to outlying towns.
House Ulatarn has abandoned their search for the missing Daughter, with both families trying to get everyone to forget her existence quietly.
The Military is currently interrogating the captives we have managed to subdue and capture. Yet, their vigil remains, as several coordinated strikes against caravans have their troops and the Guards on a merry chase around the Region, only intermittently met with success. Nonetheless, the numbers have not reached half of the usual casualties via banditry before the Purge of the Outlying Regions of Tessen.
The Followers of Light have finished the restructuring of the orphanages under the watchful eyes of Cardinal Aarif el-Sylla.

Finally, however, the new hospices are slowly easing off the intense pressure they were under, though not without several suffering nervous breakdowns, collapsing due to exhaustion, or having to be permanently laid to rest.
Dirty Daggers are applying the squeeze on various places within Tessen, trying to gather more control and root themselves in deep.
