Probably heavy or medium armor for the Incubi unit
For the Incubi we should look into chainmail. It will provide sufficient protection while also keeping them mobile. For the other Learning action, how about Electronics theory? It will help the big project as well as being thematic.

1 Action would be enough for most projects, except for Pressurized Suspendium. That one needs a few guaranteed Successes.
If we build the artisanal quarters and do another theory it should only take two turns even with auto-successes.

@HeroCooky Shouldn't the third tier be -154%?
No. A 00% chance is a DC of 100, a -50 = 150, and -154 = 254.
And I really want to know why our relations with the Bad Batch improved.
You consitently are a patron, and sent them on interesting missions.
That went better than expected. I'm curious what the Empire will do now though. Ignore the U'kali until the next conflict with the Eversun? Sending long-term aid?
Order a vassal with ships and some mercs to chuck some support at them whenever able.
Hmm, and now I wonder if we could organize a trade route to them.
Only if you are comfortable with rolling a 1d6 with even rolls meaning the airship gets blown to pieces by the Eversun navy.

i like guts, gold and glory (partially because im libertarian leaning partly because i like morally grey shit,so greedy merchants and mercenaries hit me right up my alley)
and who knows, maybe we can use our mercenary command to send some pilgrims in service of protecting far away territories while spreading our faith

Huh, I fully expected this to take another Turn. So, 2 open Actions... Probably heavy or medium armor for the Incubi unit, and maybe fashion? We are going to need the guaranteed Successes for the Circuits.

I'm in favor of poking into Powered Armor myself. Two working examples will provide us with a very strong foundation, after which we can make some quite impressive armors and updates.

We don't have any local water access, like a river or harbor, to begin experimenting with Naval developments right?

Because my personal response to that is "What do we need to do to secure the sea lanes from these suckers?"

The Empire has, like, ten open-air lakes. And any boat industry is river barges only.

You can, but there won't be much reason to do so.

Flat out impossible. They have a literal millenium of naval know-how more than you. No wet navy you could build will be able to contend with theirs, even with a technological edge.

Sounds like more technological advantage would be the solution to that problem. :V
Give a some speedboats and torpedoes, and I can sink a US carrier group. Technological advantage only helps you so far, and you are very much in the "whats a rudder?" Faction.
>btw, this makes me think of how the world before the fall probably was
This is disgusting, horrifying, and nightmare inducing the longer you think about it.

So yeh, pretty much.

Okay, Didn't see the invisitext.

So Military Airships used for a persistent logistical raiding campaign, including regular harassment of their patrols and a few ports destroyed...

What information do we have about the Eversun Navy and should I pull back from mocking up a military operation with the strategic goal of crippling the Naval Projection of the Eversun Empire?

maybe we should research torpedoes, our Airships can fly high enough in the sky to be impervious to damage and can throw torpedo salvoes down at them with impunity if we research the technology for if its available.

You know they have up to Dreadnoughts in ships (think nuclear powered Bismarcks/Nevadas/etc.), submarines capable of shooting guided missiles, and everything between, with a massive amount of ships. (the most conservative count was at 1.400)

They own the seas.

You forget that we haven't even begun production of native airships. We would first need to develop a Naval Airforce, or whatever the Airships formal force gets called.

And at that point I'm going to propose we go to the Emperor with a deal that he pays for the material and suspendium cost to recover the 3 warships, with 2 going to him and 1 for us.

So more a 15 year plan than a 2 year plan.

Strategic Stealth Bombers would be best for the response there, but at that point we're doing "Conquer the Eversun" instead of "Ensure Regular Trade".

I'll leave those plans tabled then.

I am torn between how cool it would be to rp constructing an underground railroad and the fact that I would literally be voting for more slavery to exist.
Think kore this way the pilgrims are Kantian technocraths that would do their best to ensure the world becomes like the Tau'ri (i would say star trek but once you look below the surface they are the death of freedom that survives on plot armor alo e and if a civilization could be a marry sue would be the federation).

We in the other hand are not the pilgrims, we are eldrich causality arbritators that want the pilgrims to succeed but arent really constrained by moral.
