Depending on how much XP we get form this, it might be a good idea to save up and get 5 more levels for the Purifier Beam as soon as possible. According to my calculations, it would raise our base damage to 5751, and if the trend continues, we would get a fourth attack, in addition to whatever other bonii we get for raising our weapon to level 15. And all it would cost is 600 XP.

We can get Echo of Peace for 50 less than that.

Another possible use of XP if we get 600 relatively soonish, would be raising Flight and Core Containment to 10. I've done the calcualations, and it would only cost us 590 XP, while getting us 150 more health, raising our maximum speed to 90 MPH, and potentially getting us the second level of High Speed Combat.

The power itself is actually pretty impressive. The problem is that it doesn't come with a user manual which lead to the death of a lot of Dark Lords. When it passes on, it sucks up all the previous Dark Lord's power to give to the next guy in line, steadily making the mantle more and more powerful. The current guy was able to figure out the general line of succession that the War was going to cause and slowly worked his way into it, once he got the power he started working on surviving so he could keep it.

Can a Magical Girl receive that power or does the one getting it need to be from one of the UD's factions?

Can you change who your successor is? If so, it could actually (sort of) be a viable threat if you name someone who's key to your plans but a possible defection risk to a non-UD faction.
 
I wonder. Could Goddess Black be made the successor of the Dark Lord? Because if that happens even if someone kills her then the next in line would have Goddess Black's power, which is terrifying.
