Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

[X]Carnage needs help!

IIrc Carnage is an Army Killer, but doesn't do as well in duels . We might be more useful there than here, since Truth seems to have things well in hand.

Trying to find good profile pics for Team GEAR.

Taking suggestions, otherwise will use something like this:

O.O Jesus Christ! No wonder Magical Girls are considered the Human Faction's greatest weapon.

[X] Core Purge

Carnage isn't good in duels, and Core Purge is the only thing we can afford right now.

Building Check
No, I said 2 more levels XD. Or 70 XP's worth, as we're at level 3 and level 5 would be dealing 800 damage.

We'll hopefully have enough XP to get both at the end of the arc? Buildings are OP.
Building are 1000 damage per floor. Every 3 floors get an extra 2000 damage added on the total.

A 2-F building will do a total of 2000 bae damage, while a 3-F building will do 3000 + 2000 damage.

A 4-F building will do 4000 + 2000 and a 6-F building will do 6000 + 4000 damage. Throwing buildings does a shit ton of damage.

If a building is collapsing on their own it gets an extra 500 damage from gravity.

[X]Carnage needs help!

Welp. The building trick is nice, but I had no idea the level of sheer firepower TEAM GEAR could dish out either.
Human soldiers can trigger a x2 synergy bonus if at least three of them are firing together.

If ten are firing together that multiplier grows to x5.

Does a magical girl having an ability called Purge remind anyone else of Ar Tonelico 3? I feel sorry for our protagonist if it works like that Purge..........

Huh? What you talking 'bout?

<----------- Goes to look this shit up.

I have this list of games I'm happy I've never played.

So. Fucking. Happy. Oh my god.

Maybe like MGLN's Reactor Purge/Barrier Burst?

Though thats not really any better for dignity.(it transforms your outer costume into an explosion, destroying tentacles and other grapplers)
At least it does more than distracting enemies of the opposite sex. Or Rainbow persuasion.

But no, it works differently in this. You guys don't have enough clothes for something like that and I don't feel like getting the ban hammer for having your character streaking for a chapter or two.

Its from a series that tried to test "how far can we push the innuendo without getting an M rating?" Purging is exclusive to the third game, which also had way more fanservice than the previous two and was the first that actually got an M rating (although it still got the equivalent of T in Japan). The earlier games were just innuendo and only innuendo, but taken to an extreme, as shown by this scene from one route the first game.

Underneath all the absurd innuendo and fanservice, that JRPG series biggest strength is actually its writing and worldbuilding (which is absurdly detailed).

Actually, you'd be fine as long as nobody saw us (and weren't very descriptive). The problem is that, since we know this, not wearing any clothes in order to be effectively invisible would be a sound course of action, which is the real reason why you won't allow it.

I can't even finish watching that my brain is shutting down.

Due to my brain being partially fried this line makes no sense right now.

The solution is to install heavier armor before exploding it.

OK, brain rebooted and managed to watch the rest of that.

How would not wearing anything render you guys effectively invisible? If anything Rei and Truth would both jump you on principle.

EDIT: Trying to find a good picture of a female Sephiroth. That doesn't look like a slut.

Any help here?

Now in Japan due to the large number of Bathhouses / Hot Spa Inns / Ectera, 'partial nudity' is far more 'meh' than it is in America.

And I guess stuff about -purity- and other complicated Japanese cultural stuff I don't really know enough to talk about.

Or maybe it has nothing to do with that and Japan just far more chill about this.

Actually I'd find it really amusing if the increasing amount of fanservice is because 'Animating Clothing in this increasingly graphics focused market is just too taxing, it's just cheaper and keeps FPS high if we just reduce the clothing instead'.

Kojima if you had gave us that argument for Silent, the world would be 100% behind you. "Silent gets clothes but she'll reduce the FPS by 5."

"Welp, we're fine with boob armor then, 60 FPS or bust guys."

Except for the fact that a lot of American advertisement seems content to try and be as 'Tame M' as it can be.

So. Yeah. No clue. IDK I hope I was funny.

This one seems good.

I think it's a reference to Order of the Stick, which is set in a world based on D&D 3.5, where the bard got the idea that if heavy armour impedes stealth, wearing nothing would make you invisible!

Intelligence and Wisdom were Elan's dump-stats, rather obviously.
