Changing Destiny (Kancolle)

I mean it all depends on how well you think the death ride goes. In the HSF last sortie tl(think that's what it's called I haven't read in in awhile) IIRC it actually goes well and they're able to cut off and destroy a portion of the Grand Fleet. Turning what was a death ride into a tactical victory.
It's a tactical victory, but unless you're screwing around with much more, and give them a victory on land too, it's still leading to The Treaty, except the Brits are more annoyed.

IIRC it somehow lead to a stronger American delegation during the treaty negotiations so Germany was treated better.
This isn't relevant though. Like any fictional work, everything comes down to authorial Fiat. You can justify it however you want to, but when an event happens, it is because the writer wrote it down.

Matters of rhetoric and miracles of diplomacy fall especially fall under this category. We can pick any of an uncountably infinite points of divergence, and from there an infinite infinity of chaotic butterflying changes.

So please. Stop this pointless derail. There's a time, a place, a universe, a subforum, and a thread for this derail, but not here or now.

To reiterate, Turbine is a cute and that's all that matters.
Turbine is a cute, E is Daughteru, Utah needs hugs, *takes breath*, Schreiber needs to get a few years of bully in the future, and Sky should get sarabulli.

And much more.

Agreed! Though, isn't this true with all DD's?
*opens mouth*

*closes mouth*

Jeez I was just trying to explain how it happened in the story for ya. No need to go off like that.
I dislike derails and tried to explain why in a civil manner. If you cannot handle civility, then Sufficient Velocity is not the place for you.

Right, correction: Turbine is a cute, as are most DDs.
Are you insinuating that there are some DDs that are not cutes? If so, which ones?

The only ones I would dare to not call cutes would be the Taffies. And that's mostly because they might decide to kick me in the balls if I do (of course, they might decide to do it if I don't... damned if I do, damned if I don't)

I think Matsukaze is more cool than cute.

*Digs around* hmm, agreed

Hmmm....but that's BelBat's Taffies, other versions are different? Mine are...

If my assumption is right? It's Koikatsu.
Koikatu. Love Club, not Love Victory. (I got tripped up by that too. )

It is. IIRC it's R18, so use at your own risk.

The game itself is rather lewd, being an Illusion game, and needs money to buy, but the character maker demo is free to download. It's how Illusion's model works with these sorts of games: release the Character Maker as a demo a few months in advance, and let the playing audience tilt themselves by making their favorite waifus and then they end up buying the full game. It's a fairly effective business model. :V

I see. So its like custom maid 3d. Okay....

Moving on! So what was the name of the ww1 shipgirl that has been helping the Jewish refugees in escaping the Gestapo?

Question for everyone,

I have been wondering, but what will likely happen to James Thompson now that his secret is out? Personally, I think he is going to be recalled and be placed within a secret US Government Program concerning shipgirls. Obviously, a cover story will be released to the press regarding Thompson "Illness".

There is no way in my mind that the US government is going to risk Thompson getting himself killed when he clearly has considerable knowledge that will benefit the United States. Obviously not in regards to technical matters, Thompson was not trained to be an engineer or a mechanic, but I would think that any program that Thompson would be placed in would have a high level of secrecy.

Maybe to the level of the Manhattan Project? Actually, who would the United States recruit for a possible shipgirl project? Of course, they will have Thompson, but would they try to recruit religious leaders? Christain priests and pastors? Or maybe even native american shamans? Will they try and study Shinto rituals if the Japanese successfully summon a shipgirl?

How would they analyze the military potential of shipgirls? They will need access to a large body of water that shipgirls can practice on and keep hidden from the public? Maybe an isolated part of the US coastline? Or maybe an isolated island?

Either way, the US has plenty of experience in keeping something a secret. Unless Soviet spies were already among the people they recruited like in the Manhattan project.
