Akron and Macon also dwarf the standards if we go by dimensions.
They're also lighter than even a destroyer.

I like the Corgi spirits. They are cute. But I never understood of why ships spirits are now dogs. It just makes me go "what? Why?"
Why would I throw you at them...?Rule 2: Don't make Dolphin angry. You don't make a Drill Instructor angry unless you have a death wish.
Rule 2a: No, throwing Cmdr. Winters at her doesn't solve anything. You'd probably make it worse since now you have an irate sub commander and an irate shipgirl after you.
Rule 3: Don't make Nautilus angry. You'll wake up stuck to the ceiling. Or worse.
Rule 3a: Cmdr. Winters can't do anything if you piss off Nautilus. If you come to him for help after one of her pranks, he will laugh at you. Then tell you that you probably deserved it. Then give you a reprimand.
I imagine them more like High Entia, with wings on their heads.
Duckgirls?
Mahogany, actually.
I've been asking the same question about Jon Pertwee, the Third Doctor, who served on Hood at around the same time. I haven't received an answer, but I'm remaining hopeful.Going back to JFK for a moment, is there any likelyhood of seeing the 35th President of the United States show up at some point?
Go either play Xenoblade Chronicles or watch Chuggaaconroy's LP of the game. The High Entia are the people with the bird wings on their heads.
It is also very right wing and does nothing to discuss Japan's war crimes.Have any of you watched Zipang? Despite the chinese-sounding name, this is an anime made by Japanese people.
Basically the ship JDS Mirai is going on a drill with other JMSDF ships. After some unusual weather phenomenon on the trip to Pearl Harbour, they find the Yamato, escorted by two destroyers in front of them!
They have time-travelled back to the 1940s! (WW2)
Despite the aged animation styles it is actually pretty good. Just though that an anime about time travelling ships might interest our time travelling Admirals.
EDIT: never mind they were already discussing it at page 155

I do not see how it should relate to this fic.

That's something to ask in the appropriate thread.
Agreed. The story is cool, the political agenda behind it, not so much. I always make the warning when recomending Zipang that you better watch it with a critical mindset towards the implicit message. "Japan fought a defensive war", my ass.It is also very right wing and does nothing to discuss Japan's war crimes.

That would be a screaming nightmare for Troops on the ground.Agreed. The story is cool, the political agenda behind it, not so much. The only way a Zipang scenario would work in this story would be if the shipgirl, in her girl body, appeared in an unexpected place. Like a Japanese ship in the North Atlantic. Possibly a DD or CL to reduce the impact overall.
You mean you didn't know about her? I thought you didn't like Godzilla and that's why she was never brought up.Completely off-topic other than involving a ship named Sara but...
wat. Wat.
To return to the regularly scheduledprogrammingfanfic, I'm working on the next chapter now. Back to Germany we go.
