However, after seeing Millia and Emily go at it, it looked like everyone and their aunt had requested permission to load XHEAPs in the sims, even if they still weren't allowed to carry them around the rest of the academy.

You know, I had a great idea for something during this. See, everyone knows that at the beach, you make sand castles. This also has the benefit of exposing the rookies to using their Impellers for manual work.
...While Anna is sitting in the background, surrounded by a fully functional medieval style but miniaturized castle made of sand that interlocks almost perfectly, after having it "explained" that simply fusing all of the sand together isn't quite how one does it.

Mmm... Actually yeah, I can almost see that. It'd get shot down literally as she got started (the mass required, you know, which for the lulz includes the nascent sand castles of the two rookies as they are making them), but it'd make for an interesting diversion before she got set straight by Shuri or Sandra of the Hair.

I am wondering how best to combine these points. The biggest hurdle in my opinion is actually the split in having work and holiday weeks meaning it is not so easy to combine them.

Should I just ignore the difficulty of this I believe the best combination to get would be:

It just kind of would make it easier to combine all of these things as the UNHCR mission is probably going to give us excellent chances to talk with Sandra. The simulator part is only partial as I think that it gives some nice options in multiple directions an thus only the discussion here would be part of it.

I feel that this would work nicely together and should we get an event from the points invested in blue wave it would probably work pretty well with the instructors. It also gives us the option to talk about our idea of meeting another top ace. The Scenario idea might also work in this as I believe that the instructors/top ace would be interested in seeing how we perform (all highly confidential of course), though I believe our flight would also want to watch. But that might not be so productive depending on who watches.

Again I think this would pretty nicely together as it gives a mix of flight training and more personal interactions. I would probably have the training with Koujirou happen in between due to the end of the tournament arc meaning the training cycle he and Setsuna went threw should not be so hard anymore. It would also give options for the other options to come in being discussed and planned in part during/before/after the training sessions.


The biggest issue with this is basically that these activities are clearly split in to 5 weeks of training and 2 weeks of holidays. If this was 7 generic weeks with 5 work days and 2 holiday days it would probably work very well due to how short our holiday activites are (though that split would make the world tour rather difficult).

So this leaves me with the question of how to work threw these options effectively with a nice combination. Though leaving them as single points in some cases might simply be the better option.

The instructor-based activities are, with minor exceptions, separate from everything else. They're almost all in the Timeskip Activities, and they're all apart from the flight, so they can make for a solid, self-contained little arc on their own. Flight-based activities on the other hand, are, with the exception of the flight training, primarily in the Holiday Activities. Sandra-based activities are just all over the place.

To me, this looks like they would combine pretty solidly in chronological order into something like:

Volunteer => Instructor stuff w/ some flight training mixed in => The Flight Stuff w/ talking to valk ace as counterpoint somewhere => finish with Sandra stuff

Sandra's digging in to Anna's past, so she makes for a good vehicle to deliver whatever overarching development happens during the timeskip/holiday arc as a whole, and it makes sense to sprinkle her stuff throughout and use her to bookend it. The other two groupings, I think, can pare down pretty neatly into mini-arcs inside the larger whole.
 
So. Reading the latest update again. So Aleksandra got the report on Anna's hometown/settlement.

I think she'll be smart enough to put two and two together and understand that Anna is the only survivor of her town. And when she goes back through her conversations with Anna i'm thinking that she'll understand why Anna stated that people should place their hopes on someone other than her.

Of course this will make Sandra even more determined to help Anna.

I wonder if Sandra will share this with Shuri?

She most likely won't share with the other flight mates because they probably won't be mature enough to handle it responsibly.

Definitely not Kojiro or Setsuna. Maybe Yukari might be mature enough, but lack of interaction hurts the odds of Sandra sharing it with her. She's had time to build a rapport with Shuri and knows she can be trusted. Yukari is someone she's known even less time than Anna.

They start building castles, then raise their heads to notice that Anna built a castle around them.
 
They all start building sand castles. Anna's is the largest and most complex. She receives complements for hers. Eventually, someone notices the perturbed look on her face. Anna explains that while she is happy with her current preliminary model, no matter how she runs the numbers the beach's sand is not suitable for full-scale construction and there simply isn't enough sand to form sandstone. Anna apologizes, saying she didn't realize the others simpler models were already taking this into account.

Well, Sandra will most likely share with Shuri. Keep in mind the update in the sim: Shuri was already somewhat appraised of Sandra's goals regarding the flight. Not to mention that Shuri probably knows stuff that Sandra doesn't: she does know about the G-gun after all.

As for approaching Yukari, well maybe Sandra would suspect her as Anna's minder? Yukari was Anna's first point of contact amongst the members of the Flight after all.
