I drew a v/t graph the would explain these values.

By my (very rough) estimations, terminal velocity was reached at around 8 seconds, and was around 30 m/s.

Must... resist... urge... to make... stupid pun... based off of... this website's name!

Or you could go for the explanation that they didn't compete in the same categories and the other girl is actually faster than Shuri. As for the reason Shuri ran faster in 200 m than in 100 m... She had a better day? Her implants started to hurt at the end of the 100 m one? Or only ran one time in each category therefore the results depends on the individual result of each race? I mean, this happened in the second day of the quest, so Shuri wouldn't have been in the academy for more than 4 or 5 days by then.

(btw, 30m/s... wow. That's 108 Km/h. Or 67 miles/hour. Shame she didn't reach the 39.3 m/s mark)

Oh hey, the Awards got sent out.

Well, this quest being what it is, it definitely wasn't just me that won it.

I'd like to give big thanks to a bunch of the posters here:

Firstly @Guile, for caring enough to start spellchecking my posts voluntarily and generally being Guile in my thread.

@skaianDestiny for coming up with the fauxchan posts, they're pretty freaking great.

@Camellia for gracing me with the first Fanart I've gotten.

@LegacySC for editing for me and staying up odd hours to accommodate the time differences, hope you're alright.

@qsurf and @trooperist for doing /a/ proud with faux chan posts.

@Dark as Silver for giving me a great first narrative omake.

And speaking of that, somehow between post 12 and 13, the quest exploded. So of course:

@Highwind, @JENTHULHU, @dpara, @Elvarein, @samdamandias, @UnnamedDude, @ArchRegis, @dontpressenter, @Anomen, @Excalibur, @NotAlwaysFanfic, @Blaflaix, @TopHattedZombie, @Sasha, @ultima333 and @Renu. Thanks tons for making this thread great.

@Alfa290 also gets a special mention for tricking me and playing along my confusion with him and Alphaleph.

Thanks to @ZeroXSEED too for making the Praise the TSUN pic in the sketch requests thread.

What the hell it's only when I type this out that I really realise how many people contributed, wow. (I better not have missed anyone.)

As for the sticky...

Dunno if it's really warranted though...
EDIT: Just learned that all award winners got their threads stickied, so no problems here.

Now, back to writing.

SO YOU COULD SAY THEY WERE TRAVELING AT SUFFICIENT-

presumably valkyrie athletes have higher endurance or accelerate for longer.
DUH!

"The current world record of 9.58 seconds is held by Usain Bolt of Jamaica and was set on 16 August 2009, at the 2009 World Athletics Championships. The women's world record is 10.49 seconds and was set by Florence Griffith-Joyner."

Even discounting any other alien/magic/cyborg ninja shenanigans, literally everyone here is certified superhuman.

Congratulations, Avalanche. You deserved that prize!

I figure it's temporary. Though it is admittedly nice to not have to search for the thread among all the other threads.

Your alerts tell you when it's the OP though, and gives the length of their post if it's long enough to look like an update.
