And What a Dance it Was (NO SV, War is Coming, Prepare)

So I looked at the wiki and there were 14 claims discussed during the council, of which 3 are unknown. Since I imagine our claim will also be considered that makes it 15. Unless there were other bastards that do not get a claim aknowledged that just leaves like 4-5 bastards not including us.

That said, I gotta admire the balls of that one guy nine generations removed from the Targaryen family to press his claim for the claim.

I thought only three bastards showed to the Great Council. Were there more?
There were.
There were 3 from Saera alone. I doubt they were the only ones.
And that one from Meagor.
Well there were lots of claims at the Great Council. Heck one even claimed to be the bastard of Maegor.
That guy who claimed to be Maegors bastard is actually one thread I want to pull on… because it's funny.

Dad would never allow us to press our claim, for a very simple reason:

We'd be fucked and desperate for allies.

The balls on that man was amazing.

Kinda curious on who that nobleman was. Like obviously wouldn't work but pointing out they are related no matter how distant and weirdly enough they might be one of the few houses that currently got targ blood.

Well I will say this:

He ain't going to be a real targ.

Makes the other guy look sane by comparison.
Not really. It was not unheard of in those times for people to believe they were the bastard of a lord even if they actually weren't. The hedge knight might have even believed he was the son of the Old King.

This guy's family last relation to the Targs was before they even conquered Westeros. The Baratheons have a more credible claim to the throne than him.

Can we get any clues on what Jaehaerys did/ figured out?
Well he did just make the Martell diplomats that were coming north to turn back or be destroyed.

Then there was the clear fact he's losing his marbles and is starting to prepare for his inevitable death.

Weirdly hope the guy who claiming to be Maegors bastard is actually true. Don't expect it to be but be hilarious. Imagine him claiming an unnamed dragon.

Well there are 20 dragon eggs unaccounted for. But a few that are known.

5 in winter fell

5 in the east (including Danys dragon eggs)

And 20 are unknown.

In other words: I don't want to get in trouble and will do what my parents want because I want them to be happy.

Which would tell Baelon that he needs to get our parents on board of any plans for us.

Good news is, Baelon isn't an idiot.

Bad news: His sons are.
