To be honest, I would rather not do it, the Faith has already tended us an olive branch by allowing us to marry with 3 women... I find unnecesary to further antagonise the dominant religion in Westeros over this matter.

Well it may be, but if she is anything like the real Julie d'Aubigny there is not much that can be done (her exploits made Saera Targaryen look tame by comparison), so maybe the Out of Sight out of Mind is the best they can do.

Choose instead to crown Maegor's blood despite his line being the reason to be... the faiths toothlessness.

Oh, I know perfectly that a war is coming (It is in the title, duh :V) and that there are some essential roles in the tragedy that must be played, and Lady Macbeth is one of them...

I just hope that we can prevent one of Lucien and Nyra´s best friends to play that role in the future... A Civil War is a nasty business always, but it is especially terrible when friends and family are on the other side...

Just to know, how does Grey Ghost measure with some of the other dragons alive today, like Caraxes, Syrax, or the Cannibal... I mean in the books he was devored and killed by Sunfyre who was several decades younger than him and already wounded, that seems to indicate that he is relatively weak (at least for a dragon)

I'd say that Grey Ghost is stronger here than in OTL, something about dragons, magical creatures and all, being bonded to riders seems to make them a little nastier in a fight. Being bonded to the "greatest rider on the continent" might have a proportional boost for Ghosts strength.

For me, being bonded, given a good supply of food and having the freedom to fly at any time allows the dragon to grow faster. Take Queen Rhaenys and Meraxes for example. She loves to fly on her dragon. Also, Meraxes is much younger than Vhagar but by the time of Aegon's Conquest she was much bigger than the latter.

Lucien's frequent presence and flight with Grey Ghost would have allowed the shy dragon to experience a growth spurt. I'd guess Grey Ghost is either the same size or slightly smaller than Caraxes. At this rate, by the time the OTL Dance of Dragons (129-131), I'd expect Grey Ghost to be two-thirds of Vhagar's size.

We might get more growth out of him when the war starts if that's true, maybe not as big as Vhagar is but we could get somewhere in the ballpark of 3/4ths.

Time changes people. With how intelligent dragons are, Grey Ghost could develop a deadly aggression towards Lucien's enemies. Considering the result of a "certain" draconic duel, Grey Ghost could even go up against Vhagar and win, albeit not without permanent wounds...

If we play our cards right we might not have to fight that duel alone, and a 2v1 (Caraxes and Grey Ghost) or even 3v1 (Caraxes, Grey Ghost, and Cannibal) against great old Vhagar is much better odds than the OTL duel. After all, what Naruto expy wouldn't love a fight against someone who refuses his friendship. Unbridled optimism post be like.

Well, it may be possible to win against Vaghar especially if we work with other dragon riders to gank her and her rider...

But I really hope we don´t have to, besides that tragedy that would be the death of the oldest dragon in the world, it seems very likely that we would end up marrying Laena (at least based on how most of the plans include her) so Vaghar and Grey Ghost could very well become friends or even mates, and force them to fight to the death would be an exercise of pointless tragedy.

I do wonder, if we managed to get +1000 to our war in the stepstones, what would happen? Would the triarchy fleet simply catch fire at harbor and their armies desert them? Maybe a mass outbreak of Greyscale afflicts the masters while a massive slave revolt overtakes all three daughters. or a fuckton of dragons pour out from hidden places across the world and now every Dragonseed has a dragon, while being miraculously loyal to the Targaryen's whom they think made this happen.
