@DragonParadox
Combined with our own fake persona on the PoF and maybe an appearance of Relath at a chosen time and location, could we decieve the Brazen Throne into thinking dragons in general are returning/awakening and that's the root of his problems lately, rather than one particular dragon being responsible for all of it?

Chromatics are not really very cooperative so having a dragon problem of that sort would be a prety hard sell.

The implication would not be that they all cooperate, more the opposite.

That True Dragons are returning to the planes after a long period of rarity and some of them individually cause trouble.
Like a Red one plundering on the Plane of Fire because it's just looking for treasures, a Blue one reclaiming something the Efreeti took some millenia ago and maybe Relath and Amrelath doing some other, unrelated things.

She got in trouble, she got out, others got hurt.
Pretty much exactly what happened her and now, only to less deserving targets.

And when she was evil, she delighted in hurting others in a way that frustrated us balanced by whatever shiny she delivered to plus her protection from our wrath by being sworn to Dany.

Very aggravating.

Having her good means that we can let her be free range, so to speak, without having to consider if we are... de-optimising the world by letting her out and about.

Hmm... I see. This could work, but painting the blame on dragons is uncomfortably close to that truth, that it was one particular dragon, known at least in some circles for making a pact with the Shaitans and Djinn.

It wasn't the Evil that was even the problem, it was her Evil. Other Evil characters we've had have been fine. There were multiple times I'd read an update then immediately start plotting to kill Glyra.

Too much of a connection with the returned True Red that's been causing havoc in the Plane of Fire. That kind of thing will be looked into, and the Shaitan would be unable to place their mole in the Bey's position.

We have three more days we can spend on this action. Do y'all want to try to wrap early or do more information gathering before performing the assassination.

... So, we're leaving Qohor to burn? I was really hoping we'd finally do something there.
I wanted to hit up Qohor this month, too, but as Duesal pointed out, our info gathering attempts thus far have been pretty lackluster. Even if we did attack now and everything goes smoothly, we would have two days in Qohor at most.
I don't know... the back to back nat 1s were brutal. We probably need more intel to properly pull this off.
That's how I'm leaning, too.

How thorough do we want to be, though, and where should we focus our efforts?

I'm leaning towards looking around for a suitable partner who would be happy to take credit for the action.
I know, it's just that we've been putting this off since forever. The city apparently had a real chance of being destroyed, and still does! We need to at the very least do something.
Sometimes things that take greater priority -- like this -- come up. It's a shame, but it happens.

That said, @Goldfish, maybe as a favor we could ask Danar and Alyssa do look into it for us if Bloodraven doesn't need them immediately?

Qohor being destroyed isn't the problem or rather it isn't the biggest problem. Its the bloody flesh forge in the city that we are after. And that would allow us to move forward with a lot of biological projects we have.

I'm continually stunned by how people seem to think the destruction of a Free City won't have any sort of severe negative consequences down the line. In fact, we don't know because we haven't even done a single divination about it.

I am honestly not worried about Qohor because they have an advanced version of Lya's class in that city. Although I agree with you on the divination but we are setting up the hall of mirrors next turn for divination and scrying.

Edit: Okay eldritch priests but that is fine by me if the city falls

I think you're mixing up Qohor and Qarth there. Qarth has the House of the Undying and their warlocks. Qohor has the Black Goat and all his creepy priests.
