@DragonParadox about Zherys, I wanna get some proper stuff from him in terms of magisterium information. And as one of those tests he likes. Whole spirit of the deal thing means that he should either provide this information, or have an insanely good reason no to.

And Zherys does this thing where he does not bring anyone with him. Some mad reason down to lack of trust in his colleagues, or that he does not want the party to get their claws of freindship and warm fuzzies into him, or he's so proud that he thinks he can do it alone, or he only has so much anti divination wardings, or the desire to look as if one of the previous things are true.

Sorry, ramble. Anyway. I wanna gang up on him in social combat and cut through his bullshit.

Edit: is it possible to put the living brass in some form of stasis so it does not experience the passage of time, and therefore the souls fragments do not have time to suffer?

A demiplane or portable hole that applies stasis to living brass and living brass based items.

Uriel has the power to destroy galaxies with a thought. Unconstrained regular angels probably have the power to destroy planets quite easily.

What makes Viserys so dangerous is that, he will probably be completely unconstrained by all those rules that limits the action of all greater beings. Mhm, I wonder he counts as an Outsider. Heh.

As for the swords, they may be empowered by the Archangels/angels depending upon the opponent. See Murphy during that attack on the Red court, I remember her completely nullifying Elder Red vampires Will thingy that was holding everyone in place for a while. And, giving that small speech that didn't sound much like her at all. There was also some sort of luck and/or probability field. It's been a while.

Similar to how the coins allow the fallens to affect mortals and power them up. The swords probably allow heaven to provide the oomp to it's champions when necessary to give them a chance.

30 coins balanced by 3 swords.

Anyway, Uriel > Lucifer

30 coins balanced by 3 magical girls you mean...

Anyway, @Snowfire , here's fodder for the omake:
- Viserys discovers modern things is probably on the list, but have you thought of "Viserys discovers anime?"
-- If their relationship gets better, Viserys, through Bloodwishing the effect or a simple AMF, allows Harry to watch anime with him in HD without the computer breaking.

Can Harry use old style film projectors from the 60s or so? If he had any money, at least he'd get some televised media to enjoy.

Harem & Shonen Anime: "This has a startling similarity with Waymars life..."
Magical Girl: "I think my sister needs her own transformation sequence."
NGE: *furious note taking intensifies*

I mean, Waymar even has a transformation sequence now. Just need to stick a genderbending effect in there and voila.

If their relationship gets better, Viserys, through Bloodwishing the effect or a simple AMF, allows Harry to watch anime with him in HD without the computer breaking.

Dresden able to access the internet.

The world is doomed.

More seriously on the matter of anime and Viserys, I'm unsure he'd react as well to it as you might think, at least where particular forms of it are concerned. Again, this pulls in small part from my PW work, but the answer in question is probably just as relevant - if not more so. Viserys knows from personal experience what it's like to lose your childhood as a result of powers you never asked for. He'd probably find the idea that people find it entertaining to watch children be forced through what Dany chose to do absolutely horrifying.

FTFY

Also, I forgot to add in a suggestion to your close of conclave vote. A quick toast of a bravvosi beverage or dawn wine with just Lake-CEO and bank lady: "to saving I don't know how many tens of millions of lives from the ravages of economic devastation".

'Cuz seriously, that was a very big thing done there, and it is the Bravvosi who would best recognise how important it was.

He probably don't see most of the protagonists as children, there are a few below 10 year old protagonists, but most are at least 12, by his standard that's young adult not child.

That's like saying you are not allowed to enjoy a war movie as a veteran. Quite a few I know do so though.

It's ultimately a question of quality and taste. Unreflected glorification of the subject matter is certainly going to piss him of much more then others, but I sincerely doubt he will be horrified by anything.

Viserys grew up on bard songs about glorious knights. He's seen the realities of war.

He knows quite well how entertainment and reality differ and that people prefer cleaner and nicer stories then facts.

This is honestly overblown.

Till he rationalises it with the realisation that it's not real to them (most fans/content creators). Then he will only find it sickening. :)

And there are some anime that address the issues in a more realistic fashion than others, no doubt (there is a lot of anime, after all) so those would be... Not great, perhaps, but... balancing? or something in that vein.

Imagine the combination of a superhuman intellect, boosted via magic, combined with crafting skills augmented by that intellect and further enhanced by additional magic, channeled through a Fabricate spell.

Now imagine Viserys with the commonly available schematics for things such as electrical generators, firearms, radios, etc.

Add raw materials and WHAM!, Sorcerer's Deep is suddenly the technological and magical promised land.

My word choice was a bit much, sure, but not what's behind it, imo.

Pretty much how I'd see it go, yes. A good amount of anime involves serious trauma being inflicted on kids - that's one of his hot buttons, and yes, it is. For sure there'd be stuff he'd enjoy, I'm not denying that. But quite a bit of anime starts getting more than a little disturbing when you tilt it slightly and extend.

Then again, I'd have to find a way for him yo get introduced to it. Not quite sure who might be responsible for that, if it occurred. I do know that he'd want to steal an entire warehouse of computers once someone explained them to him, though. Let alone the internet.

Remember how Viserys reacted when they found the horrible senseless and depavred daemonic art?
Exactly. This has happened IC. There is no need to debate his reaction to anime.

SPREADSHEETS! DATABASES!

ALREADY CREATED COMPUTER PROGRAMS THAT DO... USEFUL THINGS!

My interpretation of Viserys emotions when he understands what he's looking at, translated into words.
