I'll make a Hermetia level up. I expect no contest anyway: she isn't getting any new spells or feats and can't get a PrC yet.
Unless I go crazy and try to let her qualify for Mindbender next level...
[Thinks about it longer]

That's because you got the information from Hermetia's PoV and she was understandably wary of the whole process so it colored her internal reaction.
Oh, Hermetia... she clearly has not been exposed to enough of our schemes. Anyway, I'm glad she seems to like her dragonpen.

I'm against going for anything that has less than full casting progression.

Yet another variant of the common Quasit. This time NE while being less stupid that the daemonic version.
I recommend giving them right back to the Fungus Forge.

@DragonParadox
Didn't we put two or three Erinyes in Lys as her assistants?
They could propably have solved this.
That vote was to send three Erinyes to Lys next month, after their equipment was finished being crafted.

Guys, I was just reading Purple Days and I suddenly remembered , what exactly are our plans regarding Euron? When are we going to deal with him? I dont want our expedition to Valyria to start with the sentence " Much of it has been looted by a One eyed Crow"

[X] Plan Digging In
-[X] "Could I count myself a true partner of yours in this war if I would shirk to bear part of the burden?" // Yes. We are allies, not mercs.
-[X] "Though this scenario has many advantages that we should exploit. There is not point in bringing ruin to the Sultan if we do the same to our realms. We can dictate both the time and the place of this engagement, so we should prepare this diligently. Erect a fortress to weather his assault. Staff it with as many soldiers as we will need to break his force. Prepare other attacks to take advantage of his attention being diverted. What I would need the most for this is knowledge. Both about the army to be expected and the methods to defend against it." // Highlight that we are committed to this, but not going to dive into this foolhardily.
-[X] "I can leverage a great many people for this project without straining your logistics, but they would need to learn how to erect wards against teleportation and other attacks. It will also take resources, steel and coin the most of all, the latter for materials to weave those mighty wardings. I have a few ideas for this plan already, but the more tools you are willing to give me, the greater a blow we can deal the Sultan." // Basically telling her that we will make a plan for this and talk about further details later. The more aid they give us, the easier this will become.

[X] Plan Iron Cage
-[X] "Cut I count myself a true partner of yours in this war if I would shirk to bear part of the burden?"
--[X] We could turn his overwhelming response into a trap in and of itself. He will be forced to respond. Forced to assault. This means we have two advantages: we can set the stage, and we can set the date.
--[x] So beyond defending the ritual, why not make it as ruinous as possible for him? Build a fortress in such a way as to challenge him as to go through. To that end, we will need time, money and expertise.
-[X] Fortunately, these are luxuries we have.
-[X] Ultimately, the feasibility of this isn't in question, it's but a matter of how much the both of them are willing to invest in this. If they are willing to send armies to man the defenses, and mages and engineers to teach and assist in the building of it, then we are willing to host this and help in every way we can, to stand on the walls ourselves if need be.
--[x] At minimum, you'd want the ability to block teleportation inside and outside the area, and limit planeshifting after they've landed, as it'd otherwise be ruinous if high-power devils were to teleport away and wreck havoc in the world. In the end, I'd agree to do this if every precaution were to be taken as to not allow this to spill beyond the immediate battlefield, and if they approach this as a strategic move that could turn the war, and commit accordingly.
-[X] This furthermore brings the advantage of giving us all time to collect and pool more Living Brass.

--[x] We want full transfer of the technology and knowledge used in building such. They, of course, would be entitled to any breakthroughs we have.

Even for him that's absurd. There is no way in hell.
*Looks at certain Lannisters*
Oh, is there?

I want him dead before we start dealing with Westeros too, by the by.

But Tiamat forces are still on my mind, like, every fucking second now.
Ffffucking Ilyrrio.

Fat fuck steals our "Impenetrable fortress in a part of Plane of Shadow"-schtick!

As far as I'm concerned, Illyrio just made yet another stronghold for us to loot.

Sure it is.
It would make great addition to Shadow Tower.
We even have free space in that little pocket dimension of ours.

Doesn't mean that letting him be there even a second longer doesn't make me go all CE.
It pretty much does.

Too much resources, too many contacts.
I don't even care about Tiamat-blessed dragons all that much anymore, FFS.

Get one for Meraxes, ERASE ALL CONTACTS ILYTRIO HAS KILL ALL PEOPLE IN GOLDEN COMPANY, PERMAKILL THE BOY-
Okay, maybe not the last one, but you get the idea.

I'm genuinely afraid of what Timmie is going to pull on us.

Ooh, now there's an idea. If we're insanely lucky, we might be able to put it in a second demiplane.
DP ruled that we ripped out a sizeable chunk of earth alongside tower, enough to build something if needed.
And I'm pretty sure we would be capable of uprooting and lifting that fortress, we are bullshit like that.

So even if shadow-stuff fortress is likely built of doesn't naturally expand our plane, we'll be able, at the very least, to build our tower up, both in wideness and in height, with pieces of Tia-fortress.

EDIT: Tomcost'd

Or maybe just move it to the Shadow Tower Demiplane. It is not like we need yet another mobile fortress.

It doesn't need to be mobile. I'm just seeing it as redundant to have a Shadow Tower and a Tiamat Fortress in the same demiplane. In fact, I'd want to keep it away from our precious Shadow Tower.

True enough, but shadow-stuff it is likely made of isn't inherently evil, and would work just fine for long-awaited expansion of tower into a full-blown university.
I would even prefer it over dragonstone, frankly. Would look much more awesome, and also be in-line with the rest of the Demiplane.

Wait a minute people. What level is Hermetia?

@DragonParadox, her character sheet is currently borked:
1. It says she's level 4, but I thought she was level 5? And her skill points and whatnot also point to her being level 5 already.
2. Please put her new name in her character sheet! It's cool!
3. Her list of spells known should include her level 3 spells (with a 0/day mention of course), because she has Versatile Spellcaster and can thus cast them. Yes it works that way for Beguilers, and it's awesome!
4. We somehow seem not to have given her 4 ranks in Intimidate, which are necessary to get into Mindbender (which she really should do now, just for a dip. It's a perfect dip for Beguilers at level 6 and I'm certain no-one will disagree with me). Can we just retrain a few point of Knowledge skills into Intimidate 4 or something? Or just spend 4 points right now as she levels? Because getting Mindbender at 6 is like, crucial for Beguilers. It fixes the dumb progression on their Advanced Learning class feature, it lets them take Mindsight... Pretty please?

Remember that we even made that demiplane with a Tiamat powered Wish. She literally can't have a bigger pull in that demiplane than the fact that she made it with her power

Dragonstone is by far the superior material, and that's what we'll be using to build up the tower itself. What you're thinking of is shadow material which would expand the demiplane as a whole, and that can come from literally anywhere in the plane.

Frankly, I don't trust Tiamat not to fuck us over if we're so stupid as to shove the fortress into our mobile demiplane. I will campaign against any such idea.

1 level Expert, 4 level Beguiler.

Hmmm.

Ah, I suppose we can just distill every single piece of that fortress until we get some super-potent shadow-stuff, which we can later hook up to one of Conceptual Reactors.

Get our own source of shadowstuff for building and experimenting, not tied to bullshit place with Nightmare Drgaons.

Expert 1? Ah, shit. She can't take Mindbender yet. Another level of Beguiler it is then!
I'll give her some decent placeholder for now, and next level when she takes Mindbender she can retrain it into Mindsight (an absolutely insanely good feat for an intrigue/stealth character!).
