I mean there's pretty clearly inherent risk and consequences to them being connected to Hell--the onus of which is entirely on them, since if they die, they're not exactly going to be in for a warm welcome when they end up back there.

Those are some pretty clear cut consequences.

I mean, every beauty Azema tried to create ended up hurting people or lead to suffering. And I'm pretty sure that if we had replaced the westhaven wine with our own, then the Mariad attack would not happened. So while connected to hell, I imagine that our new citizens are so afflicted. Poor ladies.

So junk like that is what I was referring to. That... That metaphysical push/prison that make their choices hurt people.

Pain is suffering being excised from the body. They'll be fine.

So which PCs are still in need of a level up? Because I'm assuming that's what these interludes are? Garin and Lya's level ups.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, no character has a level-up voted on and pending application right this moment anymore.

But perhaps unsurprisingly (again?), multiple characters are likely to need another level-up voted upon very, very soon.

It is a cyclical spiral of always-pending-level-ups.

I'll get to work on them this evening when I'm back home.

Again, I would like to replace Maelor's shatter invocation with a passive or 24 hour one. It has never been used and has some serious negative fluff.

Maybe 24 hours see invisibility? Or a +6 to three of his knowledge skills? Or constant see invisibility? Or constant see invisibility? (And a higher bluff so he doesn't let on he noticed something)

Due to exisitance of rings that let someone use a free action to redirect spells if they make a spell craft check, I would like to start focusing on that skill on party members that are moderatly skilled in it now.

And Maelor is seriously anemic on skill points for the role he has (social, moderatly knowledgeable). Is there any way that we can get him more to work with? (Excluding background skill points).

@Thread please, think of Maelor and how he has a feature languishing in uselessness. Where is your compassion for fictional characters!? :p

Or alternatively, your desire for optimisation!?

Think of the optimisation, won't somebody Please think of the optimisation?

edit: 23rd post on page 9k. Tbh, I wish we get no over 9000 things on next page, but a bunch of them on 9002 :D

It is, after all, technically correct.

The best kind of correct.

That Interlude was quite fun, I'm glad Glyra is now acknowledged 'on page' as The Most Powerful Gremlin in the World.

"Rah."

There. WAS IT EVERYTHING YOU HOPED FOR?

Edit: Haha, and somebody else gets it anyway.

Karma.

I'm glad it was the first post. Vaguely warm feeling.

This is a good thread. Happy >9000 everyone! May our sodium levels rarely spike :D

Edit: Also, @Crake:

@Duesal, I, for one, actually want to have the ability to put mindwipe breath on plants we make.

It is not that we'll be making a bunch of them, or slapping them on every leshi that is made in there henceforth.

No, this is the sort of shit we'd want to base our weapons against illithid on.
Or make super-scary-as-fuck assasin units.

Please, keep pushing for this, you'll have at least my support.

EDIT: Honestly, its not like Maelephant is going to be a great sacrifice to Yss. And his HD is not nearly as important as possibility of utilising such a weapon.

So hold on we aren't giving our plants mindwipe weapons? I'm gonna ask are we gonna give them sonic breath at least?

Yeah, I'm against the whole "destroy at all costs" mindset that I'm seeing regarding the breathweapon. I want to at minimum unlock it for study in the Fungus Forge. Maybe make a small number of grenades for use against the Deep Ones or something. We were thinking about bottling Irony's breathweapon. We can do the same here.

So any thoughts on making one of these bad boys?

Barometz – d20PFSRD

We may even be able to bypass the coin toss success chance because I am sure a heart tree can be considered a place where the necessary spirit to inhabit this thing can be found relatively easily.

Unlocking is always good. Gotta get more tech tree stuff
