Xor better level up twice after leeching all this. I want him to be relevant in our adventures.
He'd better. He went through a dragon fight, a bunch of other minor fights, and now the Tor boss battle.

If he doesn't have at minimum two more levels by the end of this we'll just have to send him on another adventure.

Relevant quotes to why in the TF I want to loot this place itself.
You can almost taste the magic in the air as you manifest, so thick does it lie between the tumbled towers and ruined temples, every leaf trembling with it, every ripple in the water. Great spells had once been worked here, not for a day or a year but ages uncounted, long enough that ancient enchantments still rot under the blazing sun, the decay birthing all manner of things strange and grotesque.
A lot of magic, likely dangerous (duh), but also likely useful. Old Gods of Tree and Stone, remember guys? I think stones with magic in them will be relevant/resonating enough to be restored/remade by OGs into something useful. And even if not, then I think Yss will find those of use.
perhaps from a fortunate sip of the enchanted waters.
100% most important part. We have to find what causes this spontaneous awakening... And whether we can replicate it.
They would guess and piece together who they were from the ruins
I.e, there is enough lore, art and history carved in these ruins' walls that it would be of worth for us to know lore of snek-people and what the world was before.

also, not to forget: Canopy Creepers are a thing. Probably should capture a bunch and drop them in MossForge.
And get the spirit-lizard once we diplomance all others to go with us.

Caw.

If the spirit lizard is some kind of lizard dryad we need to uproot it, so that means a lot of the native soil will also need to come.

Ah, the incoming XP. Best part is that the XP for Vee, Malarys, Xor, Maelor, and Bronn hasn't even been calculated yet. :D There should be some spectacular XP leeching. And Ser Richard has definitely bumped up to the next level, with Viserys probably ending up painfully close to level 16.
I'm highly doubtful that we won't get sufficient XP from it.

We need to find some super pack animals to be Viserys' TP companions, Vee set precedent for multiple people contributing to carrying capacity.

I entirely disagree.
The Old Gods are probably not huge fans of worked stone. Remember that the day of Change ritual requires us to basically dissolve worked iron because it's still foreign to the OG millenia later.
@DragonParadox?

That's different. Iron is metal and therefore anathema to the Old Gods. Stone shouldn't provoke any sort of hostility, even if it's worked stone. It's not like Wall of Stone and Stone Shape aren't Druid spells.

...am I a horrible person for wanting to make a little puppet-play, using Tor's skulls?

Also, twice the speed of questioning him on his class' lore now :D

I think his subpar shit-class can be made into something decent with enough research...

But at the very least, it should have pointers on making retraining into spellcasters easier.

Also, that is a great reason to research the ritual Alysande used on herself with SE trinket to awaken to magic.
Dangerous AF, but damn if it wasn't effective.

@Guys, what do you think?
Research-action worthy?
Retraining people into something proper is kind of a problem for us, as it takes quite a long time.

...though making it easier to make mages en-mass is a great side effect, not gonna lie :p

I'm kind of sad our numbers of "level 3+" mages, also know as "ready to get into dangerous situations", are lower, or equal to those of other institutions.
I'm willing to bet numbers of level 1-2s are the same as well, DP just doesn't mention them as unimportant enough.

We clearly need to bust out a way to train our mages effectively while they study in scholarum :/

"The turnskin came, among the sun-dwellers who seemed to be kin but was not. He trapped some in treacherous words and others with enchantment, but none would believe my words. When he slew the dreamer, with his last breath he said that aid would come and I would know it by the grey stone of their blades. I knew there was no hope to be found for those who followed the turnskin, and so I took the eggs and fled awaiting that aid."
I want to get the bones of the Dreamer to see if Yss is interested in bringing him back. Sounds like a budding cleric there.

There are so many things we need Yss to bring back. The guardian nagas would be quite the boon too
We could do it too, but I'm leery of spending the diamonds. I'd want to do a Speak with Dead session first.

Then again, another breeding-age snake folk is its own boon. They already sound like an endangered species.

I'm so happy we took Tor alive. There are so many questions we can get answers to.

1. Where he's been and what he's been up to. Everywhere in explicit detail.
2. All places of great magic and high loot content he knows of.
3. What the hell is so valuable in the Red Waste that his remains considered it the most valuable thing on the Plane.
4. How he found and bound that dark serpent god.
5. How he arranged his reincarnation remotely.
6. All supernatural creatures and people that he knows of and their locations.
7. All threats that he's encountered.
8. All places he's stored his treasures.
9. Absolutely everything he's discovered of Sothoryos, so we can get started on a reliable map here.

I'm sure we'll think of more, but quite frankly, interrogating Tor is more important than interrogating the Uniila at this point. Tor is ridiculously well-travelled. He is a fount of intel, especially since a bunch of the problems he tells us about will probably have been caused by him.

I don't think the Bodaks were made from Guardian Nagas. Three of them could have easily been more than a match for Tor.

They were more likely Water Nagas, or more simply old Naga remains Tor found in the tombs and used to create Bodaks.

Rooting through Tor's brain and poking at the skulls should reveal the answer soon enough.

Personally, I want to keep these ruins right where they are and use them as our first colony. Unlike the Drow city, we don't have to worry about an army of CE douchenozzles popping out of our cellars.

Furthermore, those marshes are stupendously defensible, especially if we can tame a bit of the local wildlife and add some fungus-forge creatures as sentinels.

Yss is a god of rebirth, so he shouldn't mind turning a necropolis into a city as long as we are respectful with the remains.

We should of course associate with the locals. Make them part of our Empire in some form, and so have them be a part of our colony.
