Holy shit I love it when NPCs act in ways convinient to us.

1) Yohn goes through the effort of contacting us first
2) He and his daughter work to make merchant story work
3) Ysilla decides to talk to her dad regarding the oath instead of keeping it a secret till it bites everyone in the ass
4) She actively wants to learn magic too!

Missed the vote reading the updates. I curse this schedule where we go Lunch-Break-Break...

So, next stop is Waymar doing a Henshin, right? Can Tyene join in too transforming to the Knight of the Leaping Flame?

I imagine there will be quite a few misc. updates. Dinner with the Royces... since we haven't even met the rest of Waymar's family... maybe some castle intrigues... probably some supernatural shenanigans given our track record (though Dorne went pretty smoothly so who knows?)

But yes, he will be knighted!

That's where we could learn the Walker in the Wastes and Sandshaper classes.
Good ones.
Neat. :) And I've been meaning to deal with the Qartheen anyway. They earned themselves a spot on The List when we learned the Lich was in contact with them. We are totally looting that House of the Undying one day.

Essos just has a massive surplus of great magical ruins, doesn't it? We could send dozens of baby PCs through there and get subordinate adventurers out of it. I have high hopes for the exchange program with the Archons. Lucky bastards, setting up shop right next to the deadliest ruins on the planet.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Qartheen are probably busily reclaiming some of the ruins in the Red Waste, it was still inhabited as recently as the Century of Blood and many of The Undying can probably still remember such days.

Do we have the maps listed anywhere?
Not yet we don't. The Legendary Map of the Far North is under the Library Section for the Bloodstone Keep on the front page, though.

Eh, that's fine. I'm counting on us finding some cause to go to war with them anyway. They're not exactly going to make the most wholesome allies, and I would not be surprised if the Archons asked for help against them at some point. They can do all the work so we swoop in and take what they've recovered.

... How would sacrifices work for those guys? One soul, multiple bodies... Do we just count it by HD for the Old Gods? Does Yss not consider it a sacrifice unless he's fed the soul?

The Qaarthi are far enough away that we don't really want to seek out war with them. For example, both the Ghiscari descended slaver cities and the Lhazareen are between our allies in Mantarys and them. It's going to be quite some time before we have a real cause for conflict, and a trade war is likely a more direct angle (to smash their control over the jade gates).

Eventually. I never said we need to go over and blow them up now. But for reasons you've mentioned and more I'm certain any peace with them will never be maintained, so I can rest easy knowing that eventually their loot will be our loot.

The best case scenario would be putting either a puppet or ally in charge of qaarth. It's too far to directly control and it would still give us control over trade between the near and far east

We might want to think about the oath we'll have (retroactively) made Waymar memorize. We can't exactly do the usual Steven stuff.

Viserys might actually catch fire because of the sheer blasphemy :V:V:V.
