How strong is weirwood... Wood? If we build a tier 3 in the middle of our city would we build on it? Something like the Lothlorien houses in LotR.
I want the market to really squeeze the space for that Tongues effect.

You know, we can create the Dragon Cult that will spread that "no free thinking being will be born or held in bondage", and then basically become Actually Satan for Burny since we will be liberating ALL slaves, even those of his.

Posting this again due to the sacrifices coming our way via Tyrosh and Sothoryos.

I've just noticed, Vee has a Animal Companion... that hasn't advanced. At all.

Anyway, any suggestions for something to tie Vee's spell list together? In place of Retribution?

Or maybe another feature entirely? A bonus feat?

Curious do people think Bloodraven is possibly directing the Green Men and acting as mortal agents?

What about the Balance, Community, or Family Domain? Either one of them would seem to work, if for different reasons.

Balance gets her Dismissal and Banishment, in addition to Word of Balance and Mass Sanctuary. This one is my favorite, if we're replacing Retribution.

Community has Telepathic Bond and Mage's Magnificent Mansion.

Family has Imbue with Spell Ability and Refuge.

The spells all seem good but only Balance seems to fit the Old Gods themes.

Balance was my first thought, too.

Would a 100 HD sacrifice do her right?

If we're using 100 HD worth of sacrifices for anything, I want it to enchant a flying castle or create a suit of magical power armor for Richard. Or boost Viserys' Dragon HD, physical consequences be damned. He can use a Greater Ribbon of Disguise to deal with them.

Hrm, I was wondering about the logistics of getting our men to Lys in a timely manner. I'd prefer not to leave the tree unattended for too long, but I also don't want to reveal the teleporting tower so close to Tyrosh. In Sallosh it was fine because it's both remote (few witnesses) and far away (witness unlikely to spread news to Tyrosh), but Lys is right next door to Tyrosh.

A potential solution I thought was, we're strong enough to teleport with an empty ship at this point, right? Teleport an empty ship about half-a-day away from Lys, and then load the soldiers and sailors up in the tower and teleport back to the ship. They can unload there safely, but it's not in view of the entire city of Lys, and shouldn't tie us to Lys for longer than we intended to poke around there anyway (and wrap up the last remaining details).

You of all people in this thread misread Coatl?

*Dissapointed Quetzalcoatl
I mean, coatl is simply snake so there's no point of turning slither into one, and i thought the name for feathered snakes in d&d was couatl.
Maybe i just find the idea of turning familiars into fashion accesories really funny, Blame the Cat :V

I would actually drop 100 HD on a coatl, TBH... we already dropped 80 on a super-tree. Sure there were other motivators, but a powerful CR 12 spell caster would be more than worth several CR 10-12 gribblies/spellcasters in sacrifice. We got all of the ones we did feed to the tree rather casually and without really earnestly hunting for them in the first place, just as a consequence to battle.

Or just teleport the shadow tower to the inside of the tree.
"Those? Oh, they were there all along"

@das_slash

Having them appear by ship makes it seem more like we're using extreme foresight/divination to pull off that trick.

Just having them appear one day without port authorities even being aware of their arrival would be... cause for significant alarm... to say the very least.

You misspelled "fun", significant fun.
In fact, lets wait until everyone leaves and raise the fortress using fabricate on a single night

"now, i dont exactly remember a huge tree growing out of the abandoned quarter yesterday, but then again, neither do i remember the fortress and soldiers patrolling around It, so i guess It is possible that i just didnt notice"

*"Abashed as Haldon" face

I blame Final Fantasy and MTG for my preferrence for the spelling.

Speaking of snakes and cats, @Fehu, @Duesal, one of the things we may encounter in Sothorys if DP is aware of them. If you can't imagine them, here's a picture.
