[X] Accept, leave the antiquities here for now and depart in peace

Surprised that worked.

And yes, that was basically what I expected. I didn't have any real fear that the goods would get stolen if we just left them here with the undead--they'll protect it well enough.

I just didn't expect them to not attack.

Do the "treasures" include the golems? Because if its just artifacts and gold we can really do without a few thousand gold considering our current wealth, especially if its to get more in the future.

...This is clearly a Good action. Absolutely unrewarding and time-sinking one, yet likely serving as a moment of characterisation for Viserys.
I think that it just might have gotten OOC for Viserys to kill them :/
Fuck.

I say this is worth it, we gain allies from it, and they will probably reward us part of the treasure for negotiating the deal for them.
I really don't see what talking can get us here.

These guys will go to rest and how will make no difference in the long term.
Why not just attack?
Well for one thing, they are promising to leave all their treasure to their descendants, which probably include what they have stored away in hidden rooms, if we take it by force we get what we can find, if we agree to the deal our allies get everything, and from what we saw last they are a people that reward help, so we will probably get a significant part of the loot.

-[X] Ask if they will offer some manner of protection or aid to their kin.
-[X] before we leave ask if the servants of tiamat left anything behind, that we should take with us.

This is the city of scholars, whatever we might take by force Will be a shadow of what we could get by cooperation.
The Spirits likely know where to find hidden caches of Lore, or even share It themselves.

We made a similar deal with Aebys. Sorry @Duesal, I'd rather see Sarnor restored than hunting for sacrifices. Also, this frees us two days for the schedule that I would rather us visit the Dothraki that we can use for the coming conquest.

A resurgent Shallosh that owes us its very existence could well be worth...what was it...4k IM?
Those guys are a few caravans worth of people.

They won't make a relevant ally for decades and centuries to come, by then we'll propably have expanded in this area.

[X] Offer counter-arguments
-[X] No. Leave this world, not city or place, but world, right now or we'll cast you out by fire and steel.
-[X] Neither we, nor your ancestors have any need for ghosts that do nothing but sit around and hinder travellers and explorers. You are useless to everyone with agency, be it friend or foe and thus you should not be.

That seems...um...incredibly shortsighted. No offence.
The "no offence" part is kind of pointless there when you clearly meant it as an insult.

The Tall Men are reduced to a single city and that one random tribe we saved on a whim. They're not going to be restored any time in the next few decades, they just don't have the numbers.
