@DragonParadox There has been some in-thread discussion recently about Viserys learning a version of the Paragon Surge spell.

The standard spell is Half-Elf specific for some reason, but we were hoping for a Dragonblooded version, one that maybe increases Strength and Charisma or Natural Armor rather than Dexterity and Intelligence. Honestly, though, the attribute boost is superfluous to what we actually want. We could use the spell to temporarily gain a new feat, which we would almost always use to gain a Metamagic feat or Expanded Arcana, in order to learn one or two new spells.

We wouldn't be able to abuse it too terribly, because the spell only lets you make specific choices once per day, so we couldn't cast it multiple times to use several different spells.

Combined with Blood Wish, Viserys would finally have the kind of versatility that Dany and Lya are built around.

Something of note: in the first battle I can remember where Tyene and Waymar have both been present and the former is a target for heaped scorn and threats to her life and soul from our oppositon...Waymar crits on a channeled spellstrike.

Coincidence I think not :V
 
@DragonParadox Proving once again a Sorcerer may only compete with a Wizard or Cleric by being insanely rich... and still be inferior after all is said and done. :lol

Like really bad.

I'm talking how bad we are for Lya levels here. (if only slightly less intense)

I'm not sure he's going to jump ship for something as simple a new pretty face, princess and future heir to an entire plane of existence or no.
 
Waymar's response to someone insulting Tyene is actually pretty much the same as Viserys' response to someone insulting Tyene, though.

Okay, correction. Our response would be the same, but for one difference.

Viserys would roll middling at best.

Waymar would crit his roll and one-shot them.

All joking aside, this is a valid point. @DragonParadox is there any specific reason that we couldn't fluff it as draconic claim to the endless hoard of arcane power, or something like that? Our lack of flexibility isn't going to go away, and it's been becoming an issue for a while now.

Although really, I'm just waiting for somone to propose a use-activated (user casts a spell) item of unlimited Channel the Gift for Viserys. Because lol infinite level 1-3 spell slots.

We are lucky that Waymar was not present when dealing with Fenly. That idiot who named Tyene a whore... I could already hear the starfish screams there
