I remember before someone suggested walking in full view, ignoring any guards, going to the lords meeting room and sitting in the chair on the lords side and calling for the Lannister. I will vote for that if anyone puts up a plan for it.

Greyscale is a powerful curse before the mending. Should we ask Vee to take a look too?

So, heal Shireen, drop off the letter? and then pick up bones.

@DragonParadox I see your option has us splitting up. I.. Um.. Lets not! :D

I'll have to get back to you on that after finding some information on crossbows and thinking how it would apply to a fantasy version.

Sure. Later Medieval Crossbows could be produced entirely out of steel (excepting the string), and often a large part was, but most often it would rest in a wooden stock to save cost and weight, with just the arms and core being made of steel (at the very least, just the arms, since they found a significant performance increase with steel). Soon, steel will be cheaper (and more convenient) than using wood, so making the stock out of wood (which would require a separate supply and fabricate spell) would be undesirable, with the only issue there being total weight (which can be fixed eventually with redesign. You don't need a solid stock if it's made of steel), and the complicated mechanisms you've been hinting at with the design.

He has not decided on the cities yet. He wants information closer to the source.

As for Greyscale he claims he has something.

Is there a reason he's being vague? Can we press "information is valuable, espically information on warding against a curse that was mighty and terrible even before the Mending. Maybe a full hundredth as valuable as good and honest contextual teachings from a living mind (Valen) or the knowledge that if shit goes bad, you have a method of summoning your terrifying daughter and her equally terrifying friends".

I mean, I see no reason for him to be vague, unless you haven't made a thing for it yet, that's fine. But keeping secrets like that is just... Against the spirit of our approach to magical healing.

This is less healing and more prevention and you get the sense that it is quite limited in how many it can protect.

[X] Agree to let Dany heal Shireen while you recover Rhaella's bones

If anyone asks, there was a clerical error and we accidentally overcharged for stannis ransom, consider this his change. Cant Risk our reputation now.

Prevention is better than a cure, yeah. Am confused as to his recitence in this, but eh - fuck it, if he has some left when he's done we can buy it off him or better yet just ask Valen someday.
Valen doesn't mess us around.

I still miss him.

[X] Invisibily/Under disguise as appropriate; go with Dany as she heals Shireen and then go as a group to recover Rhaella's bones. We have no pressing reason to split up.

[] Plan Intimidate Island
-[] Agree to let Dany heal Shireen while you recover Rhaella's bones
-[] Walking in full view, ignoring any guards, go to the lords meeting room and sit in the chair on the lords side and call for the Lannister.
-[] Make sure to have sufficient defenses during this, it would be rather embarrassing if one of the guards managed to score a hit (if they even try).

I want to chastise the Lannisters for looting Dragonstone and plopping a toady there instead of helping Robert ransom Stannis. I also want them to be more hesitant about leaving the "safety" of the mainland.

Healing Shireen and sending the Lannisters packing is hard for Stannis to explain, but it might be overdoing the wedge between Robert and Stannis.

Maybe disappear Tygett? We shouldn't completely retake the island (yet), but Tywin writing it off (as he likely already has with Driftmark) would be best. I'll think on it a bit more before proposing a vote.

Starmantle and Mass Fireshield.

Brazenly walking in will cause the rebellion to kick off way too early, in the worst case. We're not ready, we haven't secured the Dornish alliance, nor even talked to Waymar's father.

Edit: It'll be a disorganized mess. Viserys would run himself haggard trying to keep people swearing themselves to him alive, and we don't have teleport locations across most of Westeros.

As satisfying as walking in would be, it would also cause significant fallout that we'd then have to clean up and sink more time into.

Oh yea, should we be Medium or Large dragon form during this as well?
Not if we want to be recognisable.

We wouldn't conquer and hold Dragonstone, just remind people which part about Sorcerer-King is actually dangerous and caused the other half to come true.

I don't think it would necessarily, as long as we leave the Lannister alive and just "calmly ask" for some family heirlooms, state of the island, and such.

If news gets out that we can personally take a defended keep, people will start raising our banner. I'm not saying we can't cause a ruckus, but the full "I'm beyond your power to even touch or harm" waltz in, in plain view is too much.

Hmm, how about this then.

Wait till night, then have the Lannister wake up in the main chamber alone, with us across on the lords seat, to have a "little chat."

This.

I don't want to get shit started too early in Westeros. We haven't even taken Tyrosh yet.

Problem is giving Robert something to smash is literally the best way to prolong his life, an enemy to fight will do more for him than healing magic could. That's why we're avoiding Westeros until he keels over and it all descends into anarchy.

This is probably the biggest reason.

We kill Robert, our path to the Starks is either closed or significantly more difficult.

We wait for Robert's death and the resulting civil war, the entire continent is ours for the taking.
