The main reason is for IC insight into how the Wild Hunt works. I want that intel to pass on to Renly, because this is what he'll be facing when he goes to the Feywild. The Horned Lord is the being that created him, after all.If we ask about the hunting terms, I hope it is out of curiosity regarding the situation and not out of desire to hunt a stag.
Hunting something seems time consuming.
I'm mostly curious how this is supposed to work and it would be a nice way to keep Moonsong busy when we need her occupied for a bit.
She is now, but within the span of nine years she'll end up having free time eventually.I thought she was uh... Leading diplomatic efforts along certian Brindle Men clans.
That came out filthier than I intended.
Still fits though.
Could be, but I'd want to do a Commune to check first.Edit: I think the stag might be a fey-efied Renly, but that's because it showed up.
I think Frenly's horsr might be Renly....
That rafter Dany's sitting on might be him?
Eh. The trophy obviously goes to the tavern. She is now, but within the span of nine years she'll end up having free time eventually.
That being said, if we do send her to hunt the stag, we get the trophy.
I wouldn't mind that.
Agreed. Agreed so goddamn much. In addition to the enchanted Mithral Bastard Sword I want to get him an Amulet of PfE, a Belt of Healing, and enchanted armor of some sort. Oh, and Gloves of either Strength or Dexterity.[X] Duesal
Maybe now finally we can get Bronn some decent kit, and not spend a Richard-staller level character on guarding Port Sorrow of all places....
I think an adventure with him and Malarys would be hilarious actually, the refined dragon lawyer and the crass barbaroi who nontheless share a certain practical outlook on life.
This wonderful murderer offered to get us a trophy. I couldn't be prouder. The swiftness that had served him so well so far fails him and three embers of sorcerous flame bore through his strange green and gold armor, drawing a scream of torment from the fey lord as he topples forward at Bronn's feet. The sellsword throws you a wolfish grin and asks, "Would ye be wanting a new pair of antlers for your wall, your grace?"
For covered in blood with a hole two fingers wide bored though his helm he seems unaccountably cheerful, alas that you must deny him his fun. "Always better to snare a live beast, master Bronn," you call back as you lay a spell upon the fey lord to grant it the shape of a beast in truth.
Monster Hunters would be good and maybe something about them learning how to use the powers of their prey against them? You know, a long while ago I talked about making an order specialized in hunting a certain kind of monster, using Rangers.
I was thinking aberrations and evil outsiders, but I suppose it's only right and proper for Witchers to hunt Fey.
The best part about this is that we've already got the foundations for all those orders.Monster Hunters would be good and maybe something about them learning how to use the powers of their prey against them?
Three Orders one for Aberrations
Another for Demons, Devil and Evil Outsiders in general
Fey killers
In fluff I would have them perform rites and rituals to harness the power of their prey. Mostly likely involving grafting, mutation and blood magic.
Also quick question if it follows the D20 rules it can be used in this Quest right? I am asking because for Monks and Martial Manuvers I do know some Homebrew that could be looked at for anything good.
And lastly, have all three orders supplied a steady stream of information by Garin's intelligence networks. A particular threat pops up, just send in the relevant order.
... Actually, we should make an order of explorers and artifact retrievers. They can do all the fetch quests that we don't have time to do.That's not lastly at all. The last part is the Order of the Magpielooting the incident to the groundcleaning up the resultant mess. That crowbars, nail-removers and municipal scale transportation magics are standard issue for them is simple technicality
Nice what about my question on what system is allowed for this Quest? Just D20 n general or other more spefic condtions? The best part about this is that we've already got the foundations for all those orders.
Tyene has constantly been targeted by fiends, and Waymar's sword is a Fiend-Bane sword. Potential joint leadership of a fiend-slaying order right there. Although in reality they'll probably just train and equip baby PCs to handle this stuff while they do more important things. Lots and lots of silvered weapons, and as many Amulets of PfE as can be afforded.
For Aberrations, Theon would be front and center for any order that hunts them down. Cerulean signs everywhere. And of course lots of Amulets of PfE.
And lastly, for fey, potentially we have Renly surviving this quest and coming back. If he succeeds then this is what I'd see him doing. Give him and whatever PCs he manages to get under him Cold Iron weapons and that should do the trick.
And lastly, have all three orders supplied a steady stream of information by Garin's intelligence networks. A particular threat pops up, just send in the relevant order.
I have no idea. I have zero experience with D&D in general. You're better off asking DP or one of the experienced players.Nice what about my question on what system is allowed for this Quest? Just D20 n general or other more spefic condtions?

Also, he made me super happy with this:
