I don't understand this part at all.

Be prey to... Dead humans? If they are dead in the feywild they wouldn't have been felled by mortal magic, so he must roam the material, but how does the dead fit in?
I think this is just a typing error. I didn't understand what it was supposed to be, though.

Perhaps this?

"For three years times three he will wear this skin and be prey to the children of man who have already felled him by mortal magics. If by the end he is not slain I will give him back his true shape," comes the answer.

Seems settled. If we make demands, we'll raise it up the chain of command in the hunt. Three years is fine (though I hold no illusions that he'll perish). Time is our most valuable asset after all. I expect it to be three years exactly, so Viserys just needs to make sure 12/12/295 is free on his calendar.
Or we could make it a mini-quest for Theon.

The kid's a ranger and he's damn good with his bow.

The spell alteration may have been something inherent to the archer.

Then rip out that bit too. :D

But in all seriousness, we came here for our own purposes, we helped give some advice and from that the tale of Frenly is taking a new and surprising turn.

But seriously, unless it fiends or abberations or Tiamat or... We like to attempt diplomancy before combat.

If he had a problem, then disintegration and slay living are not the ways to address it in a constructive manner.

It's a very impressive stag, not obviously supernatural, but it would make a hell of a trophy.
And we have a new mini-quest. :D

The Lord of the Wild Hunt we're speaking to doesn't seem to have a problem with us hunting this stag so long as we do it fairly. @DragonParadox, are there any limits we have to self-impose, or is it that should we hunt the stag the Lord of the Wild Hunt will intervene and place some kind of restriction on us without us having to worry about that?

EDIT: Hunting and slaying a stag in Baratheon lands. This is too good an opportunity to pass up.

You would have to ask him IC.

[X] Let the fey stag pass
-[X] Ask the Lord of the Wild Hunt what rules would be enforced to hunt the stag, what limitations, what would be considered a "fair hunt", and what would be forbidden in a hunt.

Lets the stag go, doesn't piss off a Lord of the Wild Hunt, and we get intel that could be useful for the future.

I smell a time sink that is not worth doing.

You know what, ok. Lets just put up a 100 Gold reward on a magnificent burnt stag.

Guys, come on, there's no reason not to ask how the hunt would work. We would get IC insight into the Wild Hunt (which will be super important for Renly's quest).

If you're afraid of a time sink, don't be. With all that we've got on our plate we're hardly going to drop it all for this any time in the next few years.
