Doesn't Viserys have the true seeing item at hand?
Yes, but he already used it to look at Renly.

And even if not, would you spend an action on activating that?
The Assassin has very good saves, my plan will propably fail even with 2 spells that give us a chance to catch him. With just one our chance to get him would just be around 50%.

Yes but it takes an action, at a first guess:
Code:
Tyene: dispel
if success
Viserys: assay spell resistance, dimensional anchor
  if fail
    Viserys: celerity, dimensionsional anchor
else
Viserys: activate item, assay spell resistance, celerity, dimensional anchor

If Viserys doesn't see the attacker, how does he target the Assay and the Suggestion?

Yeah hm. That's a bit of a pickle. Can we literally only area target spells while he's achieved invisibility?

Or do our draconic senses help here?

Two things. Well, three things.
1. Other Renly bleeds silver instead of red.
2. Other Renly can be hurt by Cold Iron.
3. I want that devil's Cold Iron Longsword.

It's time like these that I so regret the fact that we ditched Black Tentacles, and other area target spells that weren't just blasting spells.

Suggestion should work by voice, but you are right about Assay.
No idea how to do that.

Any idea what else we could cast as a Swift Action?
A Quickened Haste on our group?

We couldn't use it without attacking the knights and the Devil could propably just port out.

[X] Plan: No Escape
-[X] Tyene: dispel
-[X] if dispel success Viserys: assay spell resistance, dimensional anchor
-[X] if dimensional anchor fail Viserys: celerity, dimensionsional anchor
-[X] if dispel fail Viserys: activate item, assay spell resistance, celerity, dimensional anchor

It won't be disabled but this gives us the highest chance of it not being able to teleport away.

@dpara
The invisibility is a Supernatural ability and thus cannot be dispelled
The Dispel Magic accomplishes nothing.

Dispel can work against Su-abilities.
We have used all charges of the item to get a Truesight look at Renly.
And we need to aim to use Dim. Anchor.

Guess we might be hashtag = wrecked this time. I can't really think of anything we can do to keep this thing from getting away.

Of course, I can't think of anything we could do to salvage this situation even if we did capture or kill it. Violence sours all parley, even if neither side started it.

[X] Viserys casts Nerveskitter, Imperious Glare, Celerity and a Suggestion from Greater Shadow Enchantment to suggest that it stand and fight, what rewards it would earn from bringing our head to its master.
-[X] Tyene Reaches a healing spell at Renly
-[X] Garin attacks it further Richard uses See Invisibility before joining in

No idea if Nerveskitter can improve our place in the initiative-order, but better than nothing I guess.
Our CL is decent, not as good as I'D like it but 14+1d20 against 21 is decent.

Showing that literal Devils from Hell want to undermine our negotiations might get people to see them as a good thing.

Oathkeeper has blindsense; could Richard charge it and kill it in an alpha strike?
