Ah, so easily blocked by several linked Wall of Stone spells? Between Dany and the Pech, we should be able to close off the harbor entirely in a single night.
How long would it take to undo once the island is completely ours? I don't want to accidentally extend the amount of time we have to spend. Why not just sink the galleys and raise them up later via Raise from the Deep and have Dany use Mending on them?

Yes, though you would have trouble convincing pech to walk under the sea. They do not much care for it.

@DragonParadox how many days would it take for our fleet (well, what's available) to sail to Westhaven?

5-6 days. It's at the other end of the Stepstones.

This is Tyroshi Alaska and the men here are little different from other pirates in the Stepstones, other than being a bit more discerning about who they rob.
Oh. That makes things a lot easier. I thought we had to make people betray their core beliefs and their duty to their homeland.
Getting a bunch of greedy assholes to ditch the guys who wanted them gone is childs play. Which brings up the issue of trusting these people to be loyal. Which we shouldn't. At all.
We probably can trust them to be terrified of us though once we are done with those who didn't take the offer.

Fear is good for keeping them in line for a time, but we really need something more long-term. We should mix them in with our population at SD and vice versa, or at the very least mix up the crews so there's never any one purely Tyroshi ship. That, and have Vee teleport over every once in a while for a round of healing.

As far as I remember that is our standard MO when integrating large batches of potentially troublesome immigrants.
Mixing them with our tame Ironborn, braavosi crews, royal fleet defectors, freed slaves and assorted piles of scum and villainy should quickly erode their cohesion. We are building quite a melting pot here.

[X] Have Azema organise a party. You and the others will attend in disguise and join the merry making.
-[X] Once everyone but the party is slightly tipsy, reveal yourself and convince them of all the benefits of joining you. (Use only VotD to prevent any molten brains.)

@DragonParadox, full speech or just bullet points?

Either is fine.

A slightly more fleshed out plan.

[X] Have Azema give you a rundown of the most important officers and officials in town, and what they did to get sent here.
[X] Have her convince the fool to impress her by arranging a large dinner party (to begin in the late evening) in 4 days, calling in as many ships as he can (to have their captains attend).
-[X] Once everyone at the party is nice and tipsy, reveal yourself and convince them of all the benefits of joining you. (VotD+AoN, dismiss AoN if intimidation is needed. Be quite careful.)
[X] Arrange for our fleet to leave immediately for Westhaven, carrying several squads of Minotaurs and other men-at-arms, and our seagull constructs. After we capture Westhaven, the constructs are to report of any ship leaving the island, and have the fleet intercept.
-[X] Dany and the Pech, using Wall of Stone spells and Bulabar oversight, will close off the mouth of Westhaven's harbor during the dinner. Dany will set the underwater anchor walls, while the Pech link them together above and slightly below the waterline. Try to make it so that the stone can later be used to improve the harbor entrance, both from a defensive standpoint as well as to mitigate the effects of dangerous storms. They'll be guarded by Garin and Vee, all three buffed by Lya's Life Bubble spell, in case anyone comes investigating.

Should we poison the worst reprobates as a silent example of refusal?

Edit: Now with Goldfish improvements!

Air of Nobility should be fine to use as well. It's only when the total check result exceeds 50 and half or more of the bonus was the result of magic that brains get melted. The problem in the fleet was that we used Intimidate instead, in which Viserys only has a +19 bonus. It won't be safe to use Intimidate with the VotD/AoN combo until we put at least a couple more points into the skill.

With Viserys' +26 Diplomacy bonus augmented by VotD (+10) and AoN (+10), he will be supernaturally convincing, but not to the extent that people are damaged or compelled to obey.

I also question the usefulness of letting everyone get too inebriated. A little alcohol might loosen inhibitions and reduce critical thinking, but it can also make men more prone to violence and just outright stupidity.

We're going to be using intimidate. Someone will speak out and an example will need to be made. Hmmm, unless we use the suggestion on VoD to command them to do something, and them intimidate the rest of them with just AoN up?

The wording of your plan doesn't sound like Intimidate was the chosen route.

Diplomacy

-[X] Once everyone at the party is nice and tipsy, reveal yourself and threaten to beat them to death with their own spines if they don't join you.

Intimidation

@Diomedon, the people on those ships will have some actual loyalty to Tyrosh.

Better take over Westhaven first and then use that plan for a trap.

That's why I would prefer to get them all gathered up, say at a public announcement the officer in charge has commanded everyone to attend, then spring Viserys on them, fully buffed with VotD and AoN and using a Clarion Call spell, to Diplomance them into submission.

Well, if we are going to risk full social bugfs, it's impprtant to note that oir score has a magical component, so +26 is more like +20? And it has to at least match our Votd+AoN+magical cha points before it is safe

And I don't know how DP rates stat increases from level up in this - he said he fluffed them as a supernatural increase, so... Just something to keep in mind, I suppose

But there isn't a whole lot they can do when the harbour silently becomes a lagoon overnight through Dany going crazy with Wall of Stone.

Dany can prepare 3 Wall of Stone spells if she uses her 6th level spell slot and we have enough Pechs to cast another 4. DP said the Pechs wouldn't want to do anything underwater, so I think we should have Dany use a couple Walls of Stone spells to set in place a good solid anchor wall on each side of the harbor and another in the middle, then have the Pech connect them all together above and slightly below the water line.

The Pech will be able to clear the walls away easily with their Stone Shaping SLAs once we don't need it any longer. Or take the opportunity to improve the harbor entrance with all the readily available stone.

Alternatively, station a galley or two to block the left over space, threading a chain through holes in the Walls.
