Should we sell a little bit of Frozen demon flesh and pass the whole lot as "The Boons of Mantarys", we could say we liberated a demons hoard

This deserves more consideration.

What demon crap do we have, it doesn't need to make us much money, what it will do is start and frame the narrative of Mantarys. I.e. Dragons rule & Demons drool.

Good point actually. Sell a bit of frozen demon and sone dessicator salt. Suddenly it's spoils of conquest with the minotaur reinforcing the image.

@Duesal what about some demon flesh? To disguise the tomb robbing a bit.
Its probably rarer here than in molten skyes anyway

Not a good idea to spread the Abyss' taint. Next you know you get demon summoners a few years down the line, but tis time there's no stable gate involved.

Not a bad idea... We've got 12 pounds of Frozen demon flesh. What about putting up 4 pounds for sale? I don't expect a real profit out of this, and it leaves more than enough for Waymar's potions.

[X] Yes, bring the minotaur
[X] Yes bring something more along
-[X] One of the Valyrian Steel longswords and two of the daggers
--[X] Try to sell them at as high as a price as you can manage -- it's not every day such rare and precious artifact goes for sale
-[X] 4 pounds of frozen demon flesh

 Never mind. Being painted as graverobbers is still a better idea than giving the mages of Volantis more contact with demons. One of them was stupid enough to sell his own daughters to a demon for possession.

I don't think some remains will do too much to help with summoning and if there's no gate involved they're just more likely to get themselves eaten. A normal summoner without that ridiculously expensive and complex infrastructure can't make a rift between planes like that. They'd be lucky (not actually lucky) to summon some eye wings.

That seems vastly less likely then other reasons for demon summoning. The twins got randomly possessed and one from the Mysterium made a devil pact.

Some chopped and frozen loser demon is no risk.

Okay, so since the wonderful people in Volantis are probably going to contact demons in the future anyway:

-[X] 4 pounds of frozen demon flesh
-[X] 5 pounds of desiccator salt (necromancy tainted)
--[X] Mainly to sell the image of conquerers instead of graverobbers
-[X] 2 Tanglefoot bags
-[X] 19x Water of Unlife
-[X] 14x Flash Powder

Its all about how we frame It.
The thing was summoned by a stupid mage that was attacked by it, we arrived to save the day and the town from a demonic infestation.

I really don't think it's an issue in the slightest.

It's frozen bits of a corpse not a T-1000.

@Duesal, add the two tanglefoot bags. We have them since Lys and never even thought about using them.
Added.

Huh. That's... I'm honestly not sure why we haven't sold these before. At this point they're just pointlessly taking up space.

Also, should we sell all of the frozen demon flesh? Or do we expect Waymar to make use of it?

Nah don't sell them, use them to facilitate the sale. Scope out a nice rich merchant and then stick him to the ground right in front of our wares. The hardest part of business is getting them in the door.

Keep some of it, but we should add these while we are at it:

19x Water of Unlife
14x Flash Powder

The water does pitiful damage and nothing we fight would even bother to roll a DC 15 Fort save anymore.

Alright, adding that. So does selling 4 pounds of demon flesh and 5 pounds of desiccator salt work for you?

@DragonParadox, we've worked out our kinks.

In the future we should be able to make good cash selling constructs we make.

Golems are always going to be in demand after all.

Is providing anti-magic weapons really the best use of our time? What with being mages and all.

Don't sell matches if your house is made of straw.

Given that they have their own mage's guild (and their own merchant for magical reagents who we actually did business with to get ingredients for alchemist's fire) I'm sure that if they wanted anti-magic reagents they could easily get it.

That being said, we've got far better anti-magic weapons in the form of the Seeker and Ser Richard.

... I really want Ser Richard to start training more Mage Slayers if he ever finds the time.
