I think we need to pawn more stuff.

We won't get the best price for the box, but we kinda need the money now.

The only set of investments we're doing this turn is in Braavos with the licorice industry we're setting up with the Fairwinds. Other than that, we're participating in the Sellsword war (loot!) and waging war on the Mindflayers (more loot!). I think we'll be fine for getting ourselves a profit.

Lya can't learn a level 5 divine spell yet and she can't exactly write down spells she doesn't know.

Also, let's look like graverobbers, it's kinda true and no big issue.

Actually by RAW she can, it's a common Archivist trick if a strange concept.

Edit: Really need to stop responding before I get up to date.

It makes sense from a certain perspective though, Scrolls are just notation and there are plenty of real world scenarios like as a Stenotypist that take in info, record it and really have no understanding or processing of it beyond that, in the case of a typist it can be the factor of speed that forces them to act basically like a machine to keep up.

Or corporate training facilitators, they constantly have to teach people with different qualifications to them, what they excel at is the communication of information without having to have a great depth of contextual understanding or it's application and impact on the position or task.

If nothing else bringing the Minotaur as a guard will be a big boost to our rep though of course that will mean people will come to us hoping to buy their own.

I always end up laughing at that adorable picture. XD

Anyway... is it at all possible to get Minotaur mages? Like shamans or druids? Or do we just stick with warriors and berserkers?

I'd say it's possible and if it's not then we make it possible, narrow training, narrow minds, narrow society. Like any individual, people or place there will be things they excel at and things they don't but not all Braavosi are merchant sailors.

Then we tell them to come to TD with a ship full of slaves where they will be greeted with all the hospitality our laws assure them.

Everyone stupid enough to do this deserves his fate.

Should we sell a little bit of Frozen demon flesh and pass the whole lot as "The Boons of Mantarys", we could say we liberated a demons hoard

@DragonParadox, I think we've more or less come to an agreement.
