Airforce Report on the Westerlands
First Day of the Fifth Month 294 AC
House Banefort of Banefort
Not only did the House surrender with all hands upon being approached by the Moonchaser before a hail could even be made, but they also delivered what could only be called a tribute for Imperial clemency. Well, it could also be called a bribe, but best not to linger overlong on that fact in regards to what could otherwise be named a leal imperial citizen. Lord Quenten Banefort delivered to the captain an ash-grey grimoire said to contain the spells of the Hooded Man, the dreaded founder of their House.
Given that it seemed to be bound in the flayed and tanned skin of giants long vanished from this corner of the world, the captain was inclined to trust the source. In addition to spells of death magic fit for powerful necromancer, the book also contained rituals that could be cast by anyone versed in Low Magic so long as they could read the runes of the First Men. Given how dangerous some of those rituals may be in the hands of the general citizenry, it might be wise to not only reward Lord Banefort for the gift but also warn him against using them lightly.
Or don't, that could be fun to deal with.

Gained Rituals:
Level 3:
Level 4:
House Brax of Hornvale
The House did not give way until the walls of Hornvale Keep were under bombardment. The decision was made by the master-at-arms while the lord was busy praying for deliverance. The lady of the keep was reasonably welcoming under the circumstances, perhaps oddly so given that her husband was in the ship's brig. Given that she is more than twenty years his junior, one might suspect theirs was not a marriage of love. The Lord's heir, a young man named Tytos, tried to make the best of a bad lot, but it was clear that he is not far off from his father when it comes to the notion that the Imperium is of Hell's own making.
House Broom of Broken Crest
Lady Broom is a widow, one of the first nobles to have been bound with the Lannister enchantments, at least by her own account. The language she used to describe her erstwhile lord is not one that can rightfully be repeated in official documentation. She was entirely forthright and helpful as could be under the circumstances. We had the most trouble gaining custody of the Golden Shields present in the keep, whom she wanted to hang, not only for their place in maintaining her enchantment but also accusing them of stealing and other abuses upon her hospitality. We could not ascertain if that was the case to any reasonable standard, so they have been taken into custody pending further investigation.
House Crakehall of Crakehall
Lord Roland Crakehall surrendered after hails and assurances that his family would be safe. He did not seem happy to be surrendering to Imperial ships, though he was rather thrown to meet the captain of the Dawnstar and discuss the finer points of Imperial politics as relates to all manner of topics with him. He seems resigned to losing land and is now only concerned with mitigating the damage.
House Falwell of Freeford
The keep surrendered after one hail, though there was a minor incident with the maester's tower burning with the maester still inside. The man was apparently virulently opposed to the Imperium and all its works, so that was not itself surprising, though Lord Falwell does insist that the Citadel owes him damages for his keep.
House Farman of Faircastle
Surrendered with all hands as soon as they saw the Wyverns on the horizon. The lord is apparently interested in traveling to Sorcerer's Deep for trade purposes and is glad to 'have such a fine way to get there' though he thinks the circumstances are regrettable. He brought two of his nieces along to get the shine of the new court, of which concern is doubtless too high for a mere officer like myself to concern himself. The worst harm to come to anyone in the keep was when one of them lost her lunch due to the sight of the world rushing past the Duskrunner.
House Foote of Stormfield
Lord Herman Foote not only lowered his banners at once but he was furious at his enchantment, demanding that he watch Tywin Lannister hang, have his privates fed to the dogs, his stomach filled with hot stones and all manner of other gruesome and often mutually contradicting torments culminating with 'may his soul burn in hellfire'. It soon transpired that part of the reason for that was that he had found a vein of True Silver in his lands which he was forced to sign over to Lannister management for a pittance while under
geas.
House Jast of Highridge
The recently appointed Lord Jast did not surrender until one of his towers was burning from alchemical bombs. He was also confirmed not to have been under geas but rather loyal to the Lannisters and very trusting in their supposed might. He thought until the last moment that he would be reinforced from Castamere or Casterly Rock, no matter what was said to him.
House Kenning of Kayce
Did not surrender because upon the Moonchaser reaching the keep they found it deserted not only of the highborn but also of servants and the garrison. Whatever befell the place must have been sudden, for the keep itself seems eerily as if it is just waiting for its inhabitants to return, from rumpled bed sheets to ovens already warming for the morrow.
Divination Report (Classified): Investigations by the House of Mirrors show the entire population of the keep walking into the sea and drowning under the cover of unnatural fog. Deep One involvement is assured.
What do you do about these Houses?

OOC: I'm going to stop here both because it is roughly the middle of the update and because the last one is an odd enough roll that you guys might want to send actual companions there to help handle it.
