I think that someone should start a club of people who died and came back to life. I believe that so far there would be Rhaella, Elia, Rhaegar(name?), Jorel (Kyla's brother), Viserys, Richard, Rhango Two-Lives, Thoros of Myr, Vrath, Soft Strider, and now Anna Trant. Is this all the named characters that would be on that list?

Lesson of Phlegetos (Su): While the Fires of Phlegethos are harmless to the Fury, the fires in its inhabitants are certainly not. Here she learns to resist the temptation and charms (literal or not) of the slaves of Belial or forever becomes one of them. The Fury gains a +4 bonus to resist Enchantment spells and can make a Spot check (DC: 15 + 2xSpell Level) to notice and identify any spell enhancing charisma or charisma-related skills on people she is talking to.
This is a section of the Steel Fury template that was created way back in 2018. Its a superficial connection, but tentatively suspect Usizil to be the girl's patron. We still need to check to make sure no other being interceded between the moment Usizil called out to the girl and she was pseudo-resurrected.

Perhaps the Death-Touched Society?

Cute kid. Maybe she'll make a good addition to Ysilla's gang. They've got a Dragon, a pair of Witches, a Sorcerer (if we include Joran), and now a potential Warlock. 🤓
Also, cyanide is poison poison, not medicine poison, so it's looking rather pre-planned.
Yeah, that's pretty unambiguous as far as murder by poison goes.
If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say Usizil, though I thought that Fiendish patrons were usually only the most powerful of demons or devils, like demon lords and whatever their devil counterparts are called.
This is my thought as well.

Usizil is only a 10 HD Advanced Erinyes, but that's not exactly a pushover in the Infernal hierarchy. While there are are tons of more powerful Devils, Erinyes are quite powerful in their own fashion and share a more significant connection to their Celestial roots than any other type of Devil. That, combined with the fact that our Erinyes are no longer bound to Hell might mean Usizil has a very limited capacity to form a Warlock pact with someone.

If this is the case, I wouldn't expect Anne to be able to advance further into the Warlock class than Usizil has Racial HD, maybe much less so, and her Invocations will probably be related to the powers inherent to an Erinyes. She already got Devil's Sight, and there are several others which would be a good fit, including Flee the Scene, Charm, Fell Flight, etc.

Any comment on this speculation, @DragonParadox?

Sorry, I'm sorta used to the Auto-Merge that Discord has for doubleposts.
Also, I tend to type down ideas as I come up with them or not at all, due to forgetting them.
I bet that Viserys is going to get 'paged' about this unusual development.

Have we really seen much in the way of Warlocks so far?
There have been a few. There's Maelor, of course, and that girl he and Bronn helped in the City of Brass who was originally from Mossovy (sp?) in Essos, I think. Myrcella has also supposedly made a Warlock pact with the being imprisoned beneath the Red Keep.

I want to say there has been one or two others encountered during the quest, but I cannot recall for sure. We also know that at least some of the Warlocks of Qarth are actually Warlocks and not just mages by another name, since Maelor's scepter was recovered from the remains of one of them.

The Myrcella thing never happened. That was a What If omake from DP at the beginning of the quest (which has since been deleted) to get people interested in the quest.

That said he's pretty much confirmed there is an imprisoned Elder Evil in the Red Keep and we haven't noticed it yet IC.
