Breath of the Black Dragon is a good one. Right now the cone AoE is 60 feet, but it'll just keep on increasing as Qyburn levels. That's really unusual for cone AoEs, which are normally locked to a particular range. Better yet, it's eligible for the Enlarge Power Metapsionic feat. It doesn't even increase Power Point cost, unlike most cones which would need Wide Power at a cost of 4 PP.

I don't know when Qyburn would ever set up his build to include Enlarge Power, but it's a nice option to have when you need gigantic 120+ foot cones of acid for one reason or another.
It would be a valid alternative to Split Psionic Ray and rather useful in conjunction with Mindlink. A fully powered Black Dragon Breath combinated with a Thanatopic Dispelling Breath from a Myrkdreki would be exceptionally bad for everyone in the general area.

Well I can think of one reason why you guys might want it, any sort of plague or bio weapon that is resistant to fire might not be resistant to acid. I'm not sure I would call that a common occurrence, but probably more so in Qyburn's line of work than elsewhere. :V

Elaheh: "We've got a meeting in five. You coming?"
Qyburn: "I am aware. Let me just clean up the lab." *spews acid all over the room*

Sometimes you just need to douse everything in acid and hose down the organic slurry when it's all done and there are no more tears to be spilled.

By the way, @DragonParadox, will we get the chance to set more detailed battle plans during the Pacification for important battles, like Seagard, or should I detail those more out? There's a bunch of stuff I would have to assume in that case.

Alternatively, anything you feel you would want more detail on?

You guys will get a chance for detailed plans. We have been building up to this for years after all, no sense rushing through even if the challenge is not really military at this point. How you guys choose to take this House or that will impact how Viserys is seen by high and low alike.

I have the sudden feeling that we will have to help evolution along more then a few times.

I believe the idea was that we would pull out Aegon's book for this one and give them one chance to surrender and if they didn't we would pull out another trick in Aegon's bag and extinguish some lines.

Pretty much. The default approach is demanding unconditional surrender and giving them one hour to comply. If they don't? Well. Why do you think we had our gunners train how to tear down castle walls as fast as possible?

I for one am all for bombing the castles in question until they are nothing but rubble, and then paving over them with Titan's Tools so there is no sign they ever existed.

Because it's about sending a message.

It's incredible that we all know there will be more than one noble House that decides they can take us. Even after what we did to the Court of Stars.

I would suggest that we keep some assets in reserve in the event of an emergency like maybe the capitol gets attacked again like with that Shadow Dragon. Just in case someone gets the bright idea of insanity again.

Good night guys, see you tomorrow with catch up interludes. I'm taking suggestions overnight since there is no open vote.
I'd love to see Alinor's perspective. She's someone who's watched the Imperium grow from a single island in Saltcliff to an empire that stretches from Braavos to Sothoryos. Must be a hell of a thing to see the Legion gear up to take an entire continent on top of that.

A Teana interlude would be neat, one featuring happenings in the Scholarium. Maybe something about a graduating class of initiates, or a new intake of fresh initiates?

It has been a while...
I wonder when the effects of the 15th's narrative curse gonna start appearing and fucking up the things.

That really should not be an issue for many years, maybe even decades or centuries. We are very much removed from Valyria in just about every way that matters, and the 15th is a mostly dead god with little agency of its own. Even when it was whole and hearty, it took centuries to start having a noticeable impact on Valyria.

If there is anything that should have plenty of time before we need to deal with it, it's the 15th.

Maybe something about a minor Administration clerk who is regretting his career choices since every few months, the Imperator has some outrageous festivity that requires him to rework how the whole bloody city works on the fly.
