Our Wyverns are made for extraplanar environment, so it should propably work out.
As far as I can tell there are common ashstorms, but also better weather, so we might get good pics out of it.

I expect that we might take damage or even loose a Wyvern or two, but that's the price for intel on an extremly hostile environment.
 
@DragonParadox, this update does bring up a question for me. As Lya advances higher and higher in Runecrafting and starts really pushing the limits, can Zathir help guide her progress? The fact that Runecrating was on the table for this artifact makes me think it could be possible.

Fire Eyes should take care of that. The Type A and Type B Wyverns are designed for deployments on the Plane of Fire, so while this won't be a walk in the park like the flights over Westeros, they should be fine.

Main goal would be to scout the general geography, record weather data and maybe some fast fly overs of points of interest. No point in risking Wyverns getting attacked by the wildlife here, but that general stuff is still perfect for preparing later expeditions.

To and extent yes, but Zathir himself would have to learn ruencraft first. Taking the option for runes now would allow a chance to Lya having and eureka moment and advancing in runes from seeing a god of creation practice enchanting on an item meant for creation. For Zathir to formally help Lya with leaning runes he would have to learn runic magic himself first.

...I think that makes the Targaryen Empire's heaven the Serpent Road with multiple inns that are the Greendream, R'hllor's Realm, the Moon Palace, etc.

The one thing I am sad about in this quest is that there is not enough Tyrion in it. Wish we had been able to steal him away but Lanna looted him first.

Edit: Also in-laws suck, I can't camp in the thread today due to surprise visit, who even does that in today's world. Also they hate me like reeeallly badly.

If you find a way to loot Lanna, Tyrion might just follow, iirc there's an interlude from his POV talking about how much he likes her

Okay, Lya, you can do it. Put that buffed 76+1d6 Knowledge(The Planes) check to good use. 🤞

Well, if she rolls a Nat 20, and gets a 6 from Mythic Surge, that's a result of 99 on the Knowledge check.

So unless this roll requires she get a 100, I'd say she probably has a roughly 60/40 chance of success. :V

She could actually get it with just a 4 or higher on her Mythic Surge roll, assuming a Nat 20. Skynet the Kindle typo'd me again. Her bonus should be 76+1d6 instead.
