Eh, I find most interludes pretty awesome so no objections here. Lya researching would be pretty cool... She can find us so many new ways to turn enemies into itty bitty pieces. Or loot them quicker.

Well for now he has his uses. One of these days we should start compiling the captured monster-book knowledge into regular books. Just for safety reasons...and sacrifice reasons. It's a CR 20 sacrifice right here.

Edit: What other monster books do we have?

It's not that we don't like interludes, they've just got to be placed correctly. Interludes peppered throughout the middle of a major fight scene kills the pacing something fierce, but now when we're just building up to something or going through the month's actions is fine. That said while I certainly wouldn't mind an interlude series with Lya learning how to make Artifacts, I'm not sure how much this one thing can be stretched out.

IIRC we have a total of two Cabal Devils, the Efreeti Mage, a Flesh Smith abomination, and now there's the Olrethodaemon.

Next after Lyartifacting I'm thinking seeing the efforts of out minion-guys dealing with CoS, then some really basic reports on minor stuff, then Slavers Bay and Lannisters.

And tbh, I'm as uninterested in Slavers Bay as one can be.
...For all it is something we must have done.

Like, I'd rather DP just roll through it with no choices and get us the results, if that 's what it takes, rather than seeing interludes there again.

Really doubt it. DP has stated that Scribe Binding books are basically minor artifacts and its definitely going to take some time to copy down the important info each book has since the spell states that each page counts as one day in the subject's life and 3 of these beings are immortal outsiders.

I won't sue you, I agree heartily. Slavers bay doesnt interest me. This might also just be my Lannister murderboner shining through as well.

To really crank the showmanship up to 11, we could put the Dinosaurs in dresses and train them to dance and toss flower petals in our path as we make our way to the Azure Emperor's palace. Of course, Vee would think we had gone insane, but the people of Yi-Ti would be mightily impressed.

I'm pretty sure that Vee already thinks Viserys and the rest of the companions are crazy, but puts up with them anyway because they're her crazy people. :V

No, what we need is mecha dinosaurs, Kaiju sized, with cockpits where we can sit and control our fun sized dinosaur.

We can fight each other in duels, and if half of Yi Ti gets burned down, well who can complain? That shit happens in Godzilla fights.
