[X] Wake the boy, try to recover any hidden or repressed memories of just what was done with him.
-[X] Ask the Mind Dragon to use his Telepathic Bond SLA to link the group together, then use Miracle to duplicate a Brain Spider spell in order to examine the boy's mind, Telepathically sharing what we learn with the others.
-[X] If necessary, see if any of the other children might not be able to tell you more using the same methods as above as the situation calls for.
-[X] Travel to Volmark and see the ruined ritual chamber for yourself.
-[X] Before we depart, offer to place a Forbiddance ward to protect the keep from Teleportation effects. With no password, it will only cost 200 IM, plus 300 IM per 60 foot cube to be warded, which we will absorb ourselves.

@Trek, we had one of those "establish your character and morality" votes with Yrael way back when he was swearing himself to us, and we promised him we wouldn't conquer for the sake of conquering. We conquer because local leadership is incompetent and Evil, not (just) because we want to rule the world.
Braavos had some solid leadership, and would probably have survived fine if we'd refrained from conquering it and had just fought the major threats on our own. Therefore we needed them to join peacefully. Of course the threat "we could invade you, now join peacefully instead" worked partly because they couldn't know we wouldn't have invaded, but it also worked because we provided concessions to keep everyone loyal and useful.

I have no objection to re-debating old issues (with a few Dragon-related exceptions).
I remember that, morality debates are always fun arent they?

Well, we are not conquering for the sake of conquering right? To fullfill our ambition of making sure tons prime material souls dont get lost when they die we need to take over the world so that the imperial dream can work on it all. Compared to lost souls who get eaten by random monsters in the astral realm and get permakilled, the countless prime material souls that go to feed hells armies, plus to protect the plane against the dozen or so super enemies who wish to invade it. The others than the void who wish to reduce all to nothingness we are the only good option for the prime material as such by default we aren't invading and taking over just for the sake of it.

At least thats how it is now, it was diffrent back then.

Edit: Shouldnt we take some precautions against a deep one link to the kids minds? What if they decide to kill the kid rather than let us brain spider him?

It's possible to reconcile more than one motivation with one another through a variety of methods. Magic allows for anything in theory.

In theory sure, but really if there are any other stronger groups/empires in the prime material who are more suited to it than us I dont see them. Even the god of fires plan was not as ... well for lack of a better word, ideal as ours.

I'm not entirely sure what is even being debated right now.

That it's allegedly bad that the IB is providing some functions of a central bank? That Viserys needs to conquer more stuff? That anything but absolutely control over every aspect of the Imperium is preposterous?

Please. Someone enlighten me.

I'm pretty sure all but the specific circumstances and motivations under which places get conquered has been settled.

Given that Trek's responded in the negative to whatever I think he's trying to debate thus far, I really don't know. Darts on the board.

Then I propose to debate if it is an improvement or a loss that Imperial Fleshcrafters are obsessed with creating mind-rending abominations and weapons as opposed to the Valyrian Fleshcrafters eternal quest for big tittied cat-girls.

...why can't we have both?
:(

So some kind of reverse Planar Convergence to turn it from a Shadow-infused Wasteland into something that doesn't poison water and air?

Seems kinda hard. The place is Void tainted.
Is it though?
As far as we know it's only connected to the Shadow Plane, the only place we've seen so far that is physically in contact with the Void is Heaven.

I thought we could keep it in its current planar alignment and simply use the then-conquered Shadow City (forgot the name, if we got one) as vacation town.
Lots of high-class hotels, with spa and great food, several big casinos, stuff like that.
You don't need an outwardly nice area for such a place, see Las Vegas.

We should clearly weaponize catgirls with multiple powerful templates.
Well, there are those little cats I've been proposing over a year ago....
The acid have to be sprayed from somewhere...
Qyburn: "5/10 Not enough necrotic tumors."
Elaheh: "8/10 An inspired effort, but why have all mamaries dispense the same liquid? And why only have two at that? There are so many elements and poisons to pick from!"
Zherys: "I was told to report if it lasts longer then four hours, but I'm puzzled that it happens at all to be honest."

These?
Advanced, Plant Imbued, Shadow Creature Cat (CR 5)

Nice, no tits though.
Splice the creature with a Seeker and a Succubus and we have an option.
Should add some proper Aberration. Maybe some shape shifting powers and mind-reading so it can adapt it's form for maximum impact.

Shame you didn't ever recruit Ishmagnis for his expertise in the area.

They're on my list of creatures to add to this month's Forge order, though we're gonna boost their HD a bit. 3 or 4 extra HD only increases CR by +1 but makes them much better.

EDIT: The actual Shadow Cats, I mean, not any monsters spliced with Seekers or acidic mammaries.
