...so, for the next month, I would like to propose on starting the long-term project I hereby dub as "Universal Chemotherapy".

The process will consist of us summoning random high-power Daemons (CR16-18) that we can reasonably quickly/efficiently deal with, and killing them off.

Why?
Well while their numbers are technically limited, and they are still more numerous than Devils....

Among their 4 Arch-Daemons (Four Horseman, we directly fought with champions of Moonpale Lady in Tyrosh, and before that in... Lys, I think), there is little to no cohesion.

Daemons are Universal Cancer.
And while we can't make much of a difference by summoning chaff...

We can, theoretically, make an effective difference by taking away their first-line forces, the near-champion level of power (consulted with DP on this).

That will both ruin some of the active schemes of Four, and also make Hellven a slightly less horrible place to be.
Slightly.

Effectively, I'd like to dedicate ~200HD every month to a slow and methodical clean-up of Planes from beings noone will miss, even Devils.

Proselatization? Pft, what is Yss a chump? No, now that he has the Trade domain we are popping shrines to him in every major market in the Imperium. Complete with a Yss approved Divine Token Statues of him made blessed with a sacrifice to him. Blessed to watch all deals and basically function like a smaller radius version of his temple.

No lies, all honest deals, no cheating. And now with trade domain hopefully a blessing to come to a mutually satisfactory agreement. I'd be willing to pay as much as a masterwork statue and a Marilith for each one of those badboys.

@DragonParadox, I have a question.

Given how extensively Yss is used for this (constant communes, peering back in time, literally offering it as a service to the masses), is there any chance at him developing a Divination Domain?

Alternatively since he's so ancient, the Time Domain?

The closest to a divination domain would be oracle. That is something he might get, though not with anywhere near the speed he got trade and he needs a lot more worshipers. Time is too primal, he can't get it, a god has to be born with the Time domain.

If we keep using Zathir for education stuff could he get the Knowledge domain?

Because if we arent putting him on the rose I kinda want to put him on making a Medical College. You know for more mundane healer training. There just are too many people to be able to care for them all magically. So a college to train actual competent healers and herbalists. Maybe even Surgeons.

And yes I kinda want to fold the plant training for Herbalist into that too. They get high level enough to get the actual class instead of just Jerbalism knowledge they can join the Mage class when they show magic.

Basically a College for Medicine, Biology and Botony. Maybe with a bit more focus on plants than the average old time college had RL. Anyone think it's a good idea?

Besides Planetos kinda needs a Zathirian Oath for physicians. Heh, Coatl twisted around a staff. (It was warm and Zathir got stuck for a sec. Dont judge.)

Plus Herbalist as a class probably will get us more people if we teach it in a Medical college than in a school for Mages. Herbalism isnt exactly an Arcane speciality.

Weve got an Engineers college and an Arts college plus a dlfully set up education system from primary school to general higher education. Next up the Medical Sciences College and maybe a Business College in partnership with Bravoos after that is done.

I'd like to spend some of the points for direct actions by Zathir on those. The divine intervention should pay for themselves point wise given how we get his favor. Plus gets his name out there.

So I'm thinking about interlude ideas and I'm not sure I can do the Rina one justice this late. Any suggestions?

I'd prefer something a little more grassroots than Robert or Tywin since I have to do a lot of background politics rolls for those.

Somebody coming through the terminus for their first visit to the Prime Material maybe? Golden company grunt in YiTi? The Emperor musing about his meeting with our delegates?

Oooh ,oooh! Hodor!

...the "Season Finale" episode for Scholarum mirrorplay?

It is the only one we haven't seen yet, and the finale seems like the place they'd go all-out on special effects.

Night's Watch to see how they're adapting to all the extra aid we've been sending their way?

I bet Benjen has a hell of a story to spread with getting his ass saved by Amrelath.

By the way @DragonParadox, did Amrelath loot the wildling kid he saved as a minion?

I really don't want to spend ages on giving Gods new domains. I thought Yss was only getting Trade because it was basically what got him back from the brink of death (we first sacrificed blood to him for Commune investments, and this is what snowballed our other sacrifices).

Jon? Or maybe Sansa again.

I could sort of see Sansa yeah...

I would love to do this, but as the focus of the interlude I would have to flesh out the play's universe more than I can really manage at this hour

  1. And interesting idea with the watch
  2. Yeah he grabed the kid and tossed him in an orphanage in SD for safe keeping.

I just wanna see best Snek in glasses. Is that so wrong? :p

Seriously though probably not gonna do much more on the domain thing. This was just a couple hundred chapters in the making. I just want to put Zathir on more education stuff and start a few more colleges to round out the set. But I'd settle for the Medical College idea being considered seriously.

"Here, I expect him to be well-cooked and ready for minion service in a few years!"

I'd say Sansa because Jon and Robb are really not the types to pay attention to their mother, but Sansa isn't actually dumb as most people might think... just a little too naive for safety in a political Viper's Pit.

Eddard is basically the same as it ever was, but Cat would be sending letters all over to keep abreast of what's going on in the South since she probably feels very isolated in the North.

Or hell you could straight up do a Cat interlude. I just said Sansa because it would probably be less depressing.

I think a Ser Barristan interlude might be fascinating. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't had a bit of screen-time this far.
