[] The mirror that Feywild is often makes but a caricature of the things it reflects of the material world - yet some places hold such power, that Feywild copies it too. You would be ill served by letting anything happen to mirror image of one of the most important locations of the Empire...
-[] Check out the Lys' Flesh-forge's Feywild reflection. If possible, have it brought under dull Imperial supervision and protection, given a possibility of it being able to repeat the feats of Mossforge - but from a whole new angle, so fitting the Feywild it resides in.
As midnight creeps ever closer you turn your attention to matters of shadows brought to light, doughty souls or in one case a particularly avaricious Dragon sent out in secret to hunt the servants of Winter. And so they had found the secret places where death sleeps under the unknowing feet of the living and hunted howling beasts of madness, and by dragonfire, by Valyrian Steel and even by Jeyne's strange arts of the mind and the spells of a shadow fiend who once in some small measure served the Void himself, those dark hollows were brought to light and from them drawn strange treasures that had not seen the light of day for centuries.
Truth be told you are still not entirely sure what you are supposed to do with the cursed lantern by which the strange goat spirit in the Mountains of the Moon bound its victims, though the long ages of ruin had made it a base for runic enchantment if you were to so choose.
Between them Mors Umber, Ser Bonifer Hasty and Drizzil had accounted for a Wight who sought to sing with death's voice over the Stormlands, though to what end is more than any of those who ended it could guess. That horror had no treasures to plunder to the little Faerie Dragon's disappointment and the knight's quiet relief. However, the skull taken for interrogation as was now custom held far more than the few wisps of power one would anticipate, whether from some desperate last act of the unliving or fickle fortune's whims you could not say, and in truth it does not matter. You would not trust the thing unless it were purified, or else see it offered up in sacrifice.
Skull of the Still Scream
Description: At first sight this skull shows itself to be nothing more than yellowed bone, but if one were to set it in sunlight or besides the light of a roaring flame, still the empty sockets would be filled with blackest shadow.
Ability: Allows the bard who carries it to use the counter-song ability to counter any spell with a verbal competent of level 1-3 as Dispel Magic. May not be used to dispel ongoing effects.
Caster Level: 7
Amrelath had been more fortunate in his search for treasure, doubtlessly because Bloodraven had been the one to mark his path and he knew the Wyrm would be more likely to take up the cause again if it grew his hoard. After beating a spirit of Deathless Hunger, for one could not be said to deliver death to such a thing, alongside its ill-fated worshipers, the Dragon had dug his way into one of the many overgrown barrows that laid abandoned and unknown. There it had found treasure worthy of a Dragon's gaze, works of bright bronze, shining silver and gold mined long before iron first struck the earth of Westeros.
12,500 IM Worth of First Men grave goods included but not limited to:
Golden funerary masks with onyx eyes
A chariot with mammoth ivory paneling showing the war between the First Men and the Children of the Forest
Ceremonial bronze swords with hilts wrapped in silver wire and ruby pommels
An auroch hunting horn bound in red gold likely traded from the east
Last, though by no means the least of efforts, is the bard Danar Crowl and his lady wife who had stilled the specters haunting a circle of standing stones in the Riverlands and then dug for what they suspect from the wailing of the dead must have been ancient bandit's treasure that served the thieves very ill indeed for they had unknowingly stolen works cursed by the powers of the Farthest North. It had been a battle hard fought for the spirits of the dead were not easily banished by even enchanted steel, leaving only spell and song to bind them to their proper rest. Far from losing heart at the struggle Alysa Grafton had taken this for a sign that she might need something better than a crossbow to fight. She would be enrolling in the Scholarum on the morrow it seems.
Torc of the Broken Brotherhood x5
Description: Forged of Bronze that has long since lost its luster, these arm-bands grip any flesh that touches them like a vice, and not even in death do they surrender it.
Ability: Grants Immunity to Fire and DR 10/Dragonglass or Valyrian Steel
Curse: Cannot be removed without casting Remove Curse (Caster level check) or Break Enchantment. One who dies wearing these armbands cannot find rest and rises again as Wight. Should the body be destroyed the spirit is naked and unhoused as a Wraith. Only by singing the souls into the Green Dream can they find peace.
Caster Level: 11

OOC: Obviously Amrelath has claimed his loot, but you can trade him for it if you like.

That's great. Really damn strong, especially for mid-level characters.
Disatvantage is that you can't afford to die wearing those, because we can't simply bring you back if the Greendream is the only option for a peaceful afterlife.
Or does Resurrection negate that effect?
@DragonParadox, would a Thinaun "pseudo-phylactery" override the Tork's curse?
As in, the person dies, and an, say, impalnted piece of Thinaun sucks out the soul before the curse affects it with Wightness/Wraithness?
The bracers though, are very draconic and great for a melee-monster with countless natural attacks.
I suggest leaving those to him.

No need to purchase the Bracers from him, they make a very nice addition to his hoard and we're not exactly as impoverished in magical gear as we used to be, but that said Amrelath has a far superior option he's already wearing:
Equipped Magic Items:Amulet of Protection from Evil, +1 Soulfire Mithral Bracers, Anklet of Translocation (with 3/day Lion's Charge), Crown of Untarnished Glory (+2 CHA, +2 INT, +1 WIS), Earring of Arcane Acuity, Greater Ribbon of Disguise, Interplanar Whispering Brazier, Muleback Cords, Ring of Sustenance, Monk's Belt (with Healing Belt effect and +3 CON, +2 DEX, +1 STR), Plane Shift Talisman (2/day), Ring of Mighty Fists (+3), Bag of Holding Type IV (with Gentle Repose effect), Scrolls: Life Bubble (x2), Panacea (x4), Teleport (x2)

Given the millennia he endured being forced into lichdom I doubt he'll willingly relinquish his protection against death magic.
Maybe he can pass the bracers on to his own companions, with the obvious caveat of "You're just borrowing this, it's still mine."
I have an idea : what if we let Amrelath buy a Flesh Forged monster servant at crafting price? He has a pile of cash now, I'm sure he'd like to spend it to get a versatile servant of some sort.
Or do we now require a PC to operate our newest Flesh Forge?

I think we'd still have to pay for it ourselves. I've been repeatedly told that Amrelath's hoard is too small, and that even things that obviously increase the hoard over time like investing won't happen because he doesn't want to let any of it out of his immediate control.
I'm not sure how much he needs before he is willing to actually start using his money.
That said I am down for crafting Amrelath a flesh-forged minion of his specifications, though one obvious requirement would be fire immunity.

Amrelath the Ash-Risen:
How does one name pride that had endured unbroken over aeons of servitude, malice still sharp when the grandchildren's grandchildren of one's foes are dust and memory? Most would call it madness, but for Amrelath it was the anchor of his sanity it was the memory of his own worth even after being forced into undeath by his fellows and later bound against himself to empower the wards of the Tower of Mantarys. The proof of his triumph is in his rebirth, though the memory of his Long Death hangs upon him close as his own shadow.
30,500 IM. Not bad, but by the same token a Flesh Forge servitor worth a damn will be costly.
I'm not opposed to just giving him a servitor. It'll make him more effective in the long run. If we wanted we could say it's an additional reward for killing off a Wendigo before it could do more harm.
Technically, the "bracers" we and Amrelath wear are Bucklers, because Soulfire is an enchantment only for Shields.
So they are mithril to set the Arcane Casting Failure down to 0%.
I'm not sure if regular bracers can be enchanted with Soulfire, but if they could they wouldn't need to be Mithril.
EDIT: Wait, @Artemis1992, it would have to be the other way around. The new bracers aren't mithril, and would be a downgrade.

How about just buying everything for one and a half times their monetary worth. Stuffing the first men stuff in the upcoming museum and doing what we want with the magic items after scrying their history and general precautions?
And what do you guys say about giving our more Draconic PCs a 20% purchase credit in the Fungus Forge for corpses turned in? Should get them motivate to bring bodies in if they get minions out of it right?

Here's an edited version of the chapter, @DragonParadox.
Holy balls, those Torcs are amazing. Can we remove the curse without affecting their power?
@DragonParadox, by the way, have the Djinn made progress on researching those rings of winter we took from the Winterborn Ala? The one that had Evasion and Mettle as bonus feats? We gave them to the Djinn to reverse-engineer how to make Mettle a bonus feat on items, but it's been a while since we hear back on that.
Also Amrelating is a Dragon. He wearing magic boots or can we just pop the second set of bracers on his hind legs? Bracers take the same spot as gloves right?
Technically, the "bracers" we and Amrelath wear are Bucklers, because Soulfire is an enchantment only for Shields.

Alright, seeing as we'll be getting total numbers soon-ish OOC, here's what I gave DP some time ago, the background for our background summoning if you wil:
Summoning numbers (as of 30th of the 10th month)
Summoners: Lya, Viserys (30 HD daily both)
Total HD (with busy days taken into account): 1350;
(Minimal HD slated for Phoenixes and Archons: 270;
HD for other summons: 1080)
'Free' HD: 758 (488+270)
Total of summoned Phoenixes as per above (3 HD per Lesser Phoenix)/Archons (9 HD per Preceptor Archon): up to DP's discretion and rolls, but possibly over two hundred Phoenixes.
(Only several Archons needed to start up the mental help projects).
32 imps,
19 Legion devils,
9 Steel devils,
3 Bone Devils,
1 Ice Devil
------------------------------
The slavers and servants of Brazen Throne (on the way to Valyria)
1 Efreet MalikSorcerer Creature Diabolist 10 (soul-captured) - in service to Efreeti Sultan
1 Asurenda (corpse) - In service to Asmodeus
---/---/---/---/---/---/(comments)---/---/---/---/---/---
A specific point I won't stop repeating, of course, is that we won't be trying to grab any minions of Asmodeus, no matter how well our research in unshackling does. They just aren't worth our operational security, and these guys we are grabbing likely come from Slavers Bay already.
Orthons are on the list because someone wanted to cut them up and research into their anti-teleport fields.
Well, there they go, but they are randomly summoned too, we haven't had any True Names to target with those.
That's pretty much it.
Imma go sleep soon, so dropping dis now.
