[X] "These days I am often left wondering, 'how can I?'" Smile gamely. "Lords question if there are any Kings capable of holding to their obligations, or if there is any worth holding to their oaths, if the best display Robert Baratheon is capable of is the best they can expect from any other claimant. Your subjects seem to be in good spirits, however." The smile drops away. "No attacks from Those Below?"
-[X] Talk about any supernatural threats that have revealed themselves to Lord Celtigar. If things seem as they initially appeared, then talk about renewed trade--some shared venture between you, he and Lord Velaryon to the Plane of Water, perhaps? You have years yet to consider it if either Lord needs time.
-[X] Eventually, if nothing else distracts, inquire after the Horn, and offer to study it for any great enchantments. Should it be particularly interesting you might offer to buy it, maybe even replicate it. A House like the Celtigars could derive great use from magic entwined with the sea.
-[X] Send Lord Farring the same items we granted to Lord Blount for his personal defense and discrete use. Inform him it would be possible to commission an item that could defend against poison with more ease than a fleet of taste-testers could in extraplanar markets, just send an agent to speak with contacts in an ACSEC office to push through the order.

I believe we have some magic items for him if he does not have them already...?

Same offers from last time, mages, gold, ect...

Basic gear is fine. You could just copy-paste everything we gave to Lord Blount, and make it a standard gift to all the Crownlander lords we just diplomanced.

I bet Lord Chyttering, for example, would really appreciate the Healing Belt.

  • 1 Greater Ribbon of Disguise
  • 1 Healing Belt
  • 1 Ring of Protection from Evil
  • 1 Sending Stone
  • 1 Teleport Stone
That's what we handed to Lord Blount from what I can see.

Ah, Dire Crabs... Back in the early 2000s they were the ultimate party-exterminator. I wasn't a big internet-goer back then, but one of my first GMs (who was also quite a bit older than I was at the time, and who was willing to GM for a bunch of midgets) was. He heard about them, found their stats, and used them to TPK our insolent asses.
Not the best GM, but certainly a memorable monster! At their CR they're incredibly tough, incredibly mobile, and amazingly deadly.

We should give an Awakened one to Celtigar as a bodyguard / attack dog!

A Giant Enemy Crab.

We'll even throw in a lack of a weak point for MASSIVE DAMAGE.

Edit: @Crake 2006 is calling, they want their memes back.

This does not exactly look contentious and I'd like to avoid writing past midnight again so vote closed.
