It's one of our homemade titles, I believe.
There might be an informational threadmark somewhere.
Home-made Valyrian name for Baroness.
It's Azel's naming scheme for governess.
Shouldn't searching in the thread get more results, namely, that list? Did searching that never work, am I to stupid, or is that a sideeffect of the forum upgrade?

Gosh I suck at intrigue.

Uh...

Hm.

Find a meeting with the hooded lord? Track down the rest of the baubles?
Go into the goblin market and burn it down with searing fire?
As nice as it would be to make nice with the hooded lord... The enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend.

We could try and find out more about that enforcer as well I suppose.

Valyrian Steel at that.

With the Marilith's swords also being Valyrian Steel, this is confirmation that there are probably dozens if not hundreds of relics floating around the Fiendish Planes.
More along the lines of millions or billions, but you get the idea.

I still want to raise that silver dragon damnit!

Walk in as a true dragon, sit down, ask for the hooded lord to appear for an audience and wait.

Intrigue is one thing, but we've reached the point where some "subtle" plans can be destroyed by us simply showing up and looking mildly annoyed.

We don't just cut the Gordian knot, we can damn well set fire to it, everyone who's tied part of it, and everyone who's ever looked at it, and everyone here knows it.

Just put on a 'stache and a set of spectacles, no one will ever guess!

More seriously, now that Viserys' around, we can pretty much brute force it. High level magic does make searching an entire city rather easier. Or can just send out a proclamation that unless the entire mess is done real soon, might just start discomforting people. Because dragon.

You will get rumors, might be worth doing in the goblin market itself.
That's pretty much what I was thinking. Nice to know it'll work out.

[X] Enter the Goblin Market
-[X] Cast Ears of the City for anything said about the Hooded Lord, the baubles, and about you (since our enemies obviously talk about us)
-[X] Use
Discern Location to try to locate the bauble, or if that doesn't work, to help hunt down whatever leads you find

Gem of Dark Fire

Description: A drop of Hellfire frozen in a prism no larger than the tip of one's finger holds within its depths not only fire but rage unending, a creature of dark flame that should it be released will seek to burn all in its path save the caller himself.

Ability: Breaking the gem summons a Corrupted Elder Fire Elemental, half the damage it causes is searing fire, half is unholy.

Caster Level: 5
That means 5 rounds, or is it some other, more permanent summoning?
Rather useless either way, not sure what to do with it.

Maybe just on the sacrifice-pile.
Damn, those swords are pretty nifty. Six of them, too. Very nice.
Any idea who could use them?

It's 5 minutes

Before that we need to address their supposed curse. @DragonParadox, did the Identification Ritual not detect anything concrete?

Only that they have a very strong conceptual association with asuras, to the point where they might seem possessed, except True Seeing sees no possessing spirit.

Hey question.
Whatever happened to Shiera Seastar Brynden Rivers lover and youngest as far as I can tell of the Great Bastards? I don't think it has been mentioned in the books or show.
Is it possible to have her appear as a spirit or something else because that would be a great way to introduce some more life into bloodraven?
Also What was the real story behind Daemon Blackfyre's rebellion? Was it really about his half sister Daenaerys? Why did Aegon iv favor him to the point of giving him Blackfyre the sword?
Are there any other Great Bastards that are significant and could appear in this quest?
Because that seems like it would be a great way to introduce just one very dysfunctional family that has far reaching consequences into the works kind of like the Originals did with the Vampire Diaries Universe.

There's a chance she used blood magic to endure this long.

Though that said Bloodraven probably would have noticed her by now.

I have obvious ideas from this:
There were rumors that Shiera used sorcery to aid Bloodraven when he served as Hand of the King and master of whisperers to King Aerys I Targaryen,[5] and that she bathed in the blood of maidens to retain her beauty.[2]

Sounds like a classic, doesn't it?

  1. Shiera: Viserys has no idea. You could ask Bloodraven I guess but it's a touchy subject to say the least.
  2. Daemon: He rebeled he had a claim and Bittersteel and others pushed him into it. Aegon favored him because he was a great warrior and might have been his son with Daena (not even Bloodraven is sure on that one)
  3. Other Great Bastards: I can't answer that one IC
