Mass tagging is only an issue when it is used to convince people to change votes during a heated vote imo. Other than that I don't care about it.

  • [X] Seek out the mage's body
-[X] Dany will use Find the Path to locate a hidden sanctum upon the ship where a mage could safely hide while still interacting with the outside world to attack us through his proxies. If that is unsuccessful, Viserys will duplicate a Discern Location spell using Wild Arcana to search for a soulless, yet still living body somewhere aboard the ship.
--[X] Keep an eye out for any of the mage's proxy skulls or other unusual paraphernellia which might prove dangerous as we search the ship. If there is time to safely do so after the mage's body is found, make a more concerted effort to find the skulls.

@Goldfish
While we are waiting for Dany to cast Find the Path, we could already use one Miracle to free one ship's worth of slaves from having to fight on.
Alternativly, no matter how rude, have Rina ask the Cryomancer if she has a Wish left to do it.

We are, as far as I can tell, still saving at least dozens of our allies and enemies, though not the hundreds we could have done earlier. That's worth a spellslot or a social fauxpas.

Have we attacked before the storm happened?
We might be on a worse clock still to grab shinies and leave.

So, mechanically, how can we turn this guy into a book?

Can we just book his body, do we have to return the soul into the body, can we somehow book the soul?
If we have to reunite body and soul first, can we do that under secure conditions like the snare, or do we have to take risks?

I think we should be able to turn his soul into a book just fine.

Thank you Student of Zelretch for rating this and acting as a reminder.

The maid still owes us a debt and I intend to collect.
Yes, I want our money back. It's the principle of it.

Every last... Damn. I actually forgot all currency below Iron Marks. What did we pay her in, pennies? Does Braavos have pennies?

There's an argument to be made for the soul gem function as a creature for certain types of spells that Scribe's Binding should be included in.

See Resurrection, Possession and Magic Jar.

Pretty sure his stated reasons for not doing so still hold. It seems likely we will have to fight our way out of Valyria if we don't pretty much pull out near immediately. Those spell slots are also a panic button resource.

Let's be real... Tor, a man with far greater strength of will and ambition, went absolutely bugnuts crazier than he already was after hearing stories of our success.

Let her paranoia, wondering in the dead of night in a city we own and have expanded upon, whether we aim to come to collect, haunt her.

And then several generations down the line, we will trace her lineage with a ritual and find her descendants and demand restitution, with interest.

That's thinking like a Dragon.

I will always approve of psychological torture.

If being utterly diabolical is wrong...

...like a good citizen, report to the local Inquisition Commissary and inform on whoever said that.

Well, now all that's left to hope is that this was a Wizard and we can get all his spells, not just a Sorcerer.

@DragonParadox Since we'll find out soon anyway, could you tell us his class and level?

The maid seems both less affected by the old man's passing and, unfortunately, more curious about the whole thing.

Couldn't find her name but we've seen her face.

[/] Payment Maid, Service Failed
-[\] Bloodwish Animal Messenger to target the Maid instead of a location.
-[\] The Animal Messenger shall carry a letter of exceedingly high quality parchment that reads "A debt is owed to Viserys Targaryen (various and sundry titles)"

Then we wait and see how she plans to resolve the situation.

Technically we are pirate king since we have lots of pirates sworn to us and I'm sure we would allow privateers to raid various planes of existence as long as they were acceptable targets.

If we are going after petty grievances, i am still not over the fact that the wormking rejected our kind offer for limbs, i want to parade the fully grafted seeker so he knows what he missed on.
