Neat interlude, @DragonParadox. Always cool to see one of the Arcanum's POVs.
Sorry for my ignorance, but what does the Orb of Dragonkind do? (Apart from being a very ominously titled paperweight. )
Moving weirwoods when?Next month:
[] Dealing with Golden Company
1) Finish "the Godhunter"-Worm (Valeria).
2) Create a foci from bones of Tiamat's aspect for Dany to counter the last Domain Tiamat has over us ([Dragons] Domain, Crafting RA, 12 Progress).
3) Unwind the spy network of GC in Yi Ti - work with Emperor if needed to capture, but keep it hush-hush until we strike at all Golden Company's forces all at once (High-intrigue companions split between this and Slavers' Bay, that Arcanum that poses as assassin for sure - maybe Teana would be a good fit too).
4) Do our best to scout out the Shadow Plane's Fortress of GC - Anu helped make it, and Shadow!Tor was made to look into it. We have good chances there. And we only need to know actual planning really, so that we can quickly and efficiently storm it when the time is right. (Shadow!Tor, someone from Orphne Court, Anu, etc)
5) Meet with the Yi-Tish General (wannabe Emperor?) GC wanted assassinated - while our own MO on interaction with the place is yet to be decided, at least revealing them as a danger, and maybe getting his non-interference would be good enough. (Viserys)
6) Apply massive Divination budget, Yss, and maybe high-altitude bird-drones (is there a cheap way to gain telescope-like vision?) to track Golden Company's actual forces.
7) Finalise the Snare (empower with the remaining Gods' help: Jazzirian, Old Gods, The Weeping Lady, The Goddess of the Silver Moon, The Merling King (total of gods empowering: 7, with Yss already done).
Am missing anything?
It seems that in an ideal world by the end of the next month, with the above done we should be ready to wipe all their forces out..?
Side notes:
1) fuck Asmodeus' shit up in Slavers Bay (intrigue-companions)
2) Have a trip to PoW-based cities, dissuade Marids from halping Lannisters if possible - look for merks and knowledge against illithids anyway (Viserys+co)
3) Finish Quburn's Research, finish opening the Demon-caller's tome, finish Fey Lore (assuming Lya doesn't this month, likely too).
4) Evacuate Thenns via the spehhs ship.
Hide them in metal bawkses!
Also research Thenn Wards, and then torch the place leaving.
5) Assign a shitload of missions of cleaning up Winter/Evul Fey/shitheaded morons' influence to sub-Companion minions.
6) Meet the Char-Serpent, counter-ambush it's hunters, feed it some Asmodeus' Devils.
For the Storm's End tree it'll need to be closer to our conquest, so three or so months from now after Tiamat and/or the Deep Ones are fealty with.
Do we need to burn the place? Could we not use the Titan tools to cover it in a layer of rock Pompeii-style?4) Evacuate Thenns via the spehhs ship.

No.
Artemis is right, Tiamat is way beyond us. What we're doing is basically inconveniencing her and robbing her of her assets. You know that you're now the big fish on the pond for claiming that you could conquer a continent, slaying a Primordial draconic goddess, thwarting a bunch of psychic OP!Hack #PlzNERF multi-dimensional squids while still have the time to plant and grow dozens of god-bound trees, trade with a bunch of djinns and shaitans, manage an Empire and kill monsters while at it.
All within the next 3-4 ish months.
God, do I love this quest. "Hubris is a coward's word." indeed.
If we manage to get her Avatar to Yss we can do more than that, permanently weakening her would be another feat worthy of legends.Artemis is right, Tiamat is way beyond us. What we're doing is basically inconveniencing her and robbing her of her assets.

She's supreme in her realm, if we go there, she just has to think and we stop existing.Ah, I see. So we're crippling her so that she won't bother us anymore, for a time at least. My mistake.
Hmm, an errant-thought passes me. Say, whilst we're at it (punching her in the gut I mean) can we also use that window of opportunity to rob her blind? At least claim several of her treasures from her hoard. Or do we need a more permanent solution before we could attempt this endeavour?
Greed domain is what allows her to reclaim all the power of a defeated avatar.Maybe? Godly concept are not my main of interest from our future assault to her. What I am most interested at is whatever baubles and items of great import that she posses.
She might be directly beyond us, but given the plans in place she might end up getting killed by one of her other enemies.Artemis is right, Tiamat is way beyond us. What we're doing is basically inconveniencing her and robbing her of her assets.
That's our Grandma you are talking about. She might be directly beyond us, but given the plans in place she might end up getting killed by one of her other enemies.
The Valyrians took a large slice of her domains, and we don't know if she got any of them back after the doom. If we take dragon or greed then her position could get pretty shaky.
Tiamat may be focused here, but she lives in the abyss - which is a bad place to suddenly be without a core part of your portfolio.
Even if there aren't any demon lords who feel like taking a shot at her, any other holdings she has outside of her divine realm will be vulnerable.
I'm hoping one of her many enemies decides to go for a bite and starts a feeding frenzy.
Keep in mind, Demonlords are, similar to Archdukes, usually Quasi-Deities still a good bit below gods, especially big ones like Tiamat.Tiamat may be focused here, but she lives in the abyss - which is a bad place to suddenly be without a core part of your portfolio.

That's out Grandma you are talking about.
No one kills her but us.

See the edit.Lord Almighty Up Above, even that Archduke (can't remember his name, something-something-noodle guy-something-something) is only CR 21+.
Fuck, I clearly underestimated her. We've gotta max our PCs to Level 20+ each, ASAP before we could even scratch her personally.
CR 30+? Really...?!
If she turned out to be a CR 50 monster straight out of a better-optimized Epic Level Handbook, I wouldn't be surprised.Lord Almighty Up Above, even that Archduke (can't remember his name, something-something-noodle guy-something-something) is only CR 21+.

A Red Great Wyrm is already CR 26.
@TotallyNotEvil described it best, if a bunch of Pit Fiends and Balors want to have a big Bloodwar showdown, but a Red Wyrm tells them not to be so loud next to his cave, they go away and fight somewhere else.
