She is melee though, if we go further on a half-BAB class like that she'll have a bad time for the next few levels, until she eventually gets Divine Power, if she ever gets that far.
With Abjurant Champion she could play to her strenghts, combining melee and magic further.
The Elephant's Horn, named for the enormous drinking horn made from the end of elephant's tusk bound in gold set over the bar, was not the kind of place one would expect to find an Ironborn raider captain. There was plenty of drink, true, and fine sorts at that from Arbor God and Tyroshi pear brandy to Ibbenese Ale and rice wine from Yi Ti, but one was more likely to find the patrons drinking slowly while they whispered secrets and spun intrigues under the red-tinted lanterns. The finely polished chairs certainly hadn't been used in any tavern brawls. One good hit and they would break over someone's head, Asha suspected, but Harren Half-Hoare seemed as comfortable here as he had been out in the harbor vesting about making offerings to the God of Tits and Wine.
"Well..." the man trailed off with a smile. "Isn't this where you try to hire me on with promises of wealth beyond my wildest dreams? Unless you're interested in more than my ship that is?" he added slyly.
Asha was not one to let him play his tune as he wished, though. "What makes you think I'm interested in either?" she asked archly. "You are the one who invited me here. For all you know I could just be planning to drink away your silver telling tall tales all night."
"Then you've made a poor start of it," Captain Harren laughed. "I reckon you are much too interesting a woman to need tall tales to fill a night's drinking."
He actually sounds like he means it, too. Asha was self-honest enough to admit she was flattered, and he surely wasn't hard on the eyes, but he was also someone she hopefully wouldn't be leaving in port. Some consorting with the locals here on the other side of the world wouldn't mean shit for her plans to wed Horas Redwyne, but having the tale or worse the lover following her home was more of a tangle than she was willing to deal with.
"Alright then, let's cut right into the guts of things," she intentionally involved the Iron Isles expression, her tone more serious than before. "I know you reave south towards Zabhad and that you have some sort of a deal with the High Admiral here in Port Moraq..."
"You make us sound like pirates," Harren snorts. "I'll have you known the Sea Snake never sailed these waters with ill intent without someone's seal of approval."
"Why get paid once when you can be paid twice, you mean?" Asha snot back. "Look, the Dragon isn't really interested in a piece of the sea five-hundred leagues from his own waters, and I sure as shit ain't, but I am interested in paying you for information, maybe even guiding us further east if that works out, but not if it's going to have soldiers with nooses waiting on the docks in half the ports we visit from here on."
"No nooses... well, not east of here at least," Harren allowed with chuckle. "If you were heading for Qarth that might be a different kettle of fish."
"No danger of that, King Viserys is happy to leave the warlocks alone for now so long as they return the favor," Asha replied, curious to hear just how that quarrel came to be but having more important questions to ask for now. "Were you home when my father tried to crown himself?"
"Oh, I heard he did more than try to crown himself, it was the keeping of his crown that was the trouble," he replied, watching her carefully over the rim of his tankard.
"And did you hear what my uncle Damphair tried to do afterwards?" she pressed, needing a proper answer.
"Rumors of sorcery that ended in dragonfire," Harren shrugged. "Didn't much care to find out more truth be told. A king's brother is just another captain, not a proper heir."
"Why thank you. Can I count on your vote in a kingsmoot, then?" It was Asha's turn to jest.
"Aye, just as soon as I'm done killing and gutting a sea dragon," Harren answered, amused.
"Sea dragons may not be that strange to see these days..." Asha trailed off, not quite sure how to explain everything, or even if she should try.
"Tolos... yeah, I heard about that too." Silence stretched out for a long moment. "Can't really be stranger than those great green beasts swimming with your lot, can it?"
"Only one way to find out." A smile played at the corner of Asha's lips.
"Alright, let's talk price," Harren said, draining his tankard.
OOC: No action in this one, but it's been a while since Asha got a character piece and I felt she deserved it.
Asha Greyjoy: Not enough sense to have better taste in men than a viking pirate who voted for her insane uncle once-upon-a-neverwhere.
Also Asha Greyjoy: Has the foresight and restraint to know that sleeping around might hurt her chances at wedding the Greenlander heir already following he around like a puppy.
She presents that lovely contrast between making Theon the responsible sibling (somehow) and also being the more experienced/mature one.
Don't forget our Theon is wiser and more awesome than canon Theon, not quite as much as our Viserys is better than canon Viserys, but there's still a vast gulf between canon Theon and this Theon.
This Theon would probably handle responsibility very well, he just prefer to avoid that responsibility for as long as possible, but when we do make him Lord of Greyport, I'm sure he will do a bang-up job managing it, though he might quickly regret giving up his life as an adventurer for a Lords work.

Preliminary plan. I wanted to start working on a battle plan, but it's too soon for that. We need a lot more information and we need to give our allies time to respond to us. As much as we've helped them, they better damned well be able to contribute some assistance for a few hours.
Any specific questions ya'll think should be added which I have left out? I don't want to try to dictate a nested Commune session when there are 37 questions available. Our combined party and allies have enough smarts between them to ask the right questions to learn what we can from this effort, IMO.
[X] Plan Look Before You Leap
-[X] Viserys and Dany will each cast a Commune spell, with questions carefully chosen so that their spells do not conflict and give identical or meaningless answers. Dany will expend her Break Enchantment spell to cast Commune using her Raiment of the Four.
--[X] They will specifically attempt to learn if the Efreeti Court Mage will be among the fleet when we attack, whether or not the Asurendra is the most powerful threat, and what other powerful enemies there may be.
--[X] Remaining questions will be used to determine likelihood of reinforcements arriving before we can finish our assault, whether or not they are expecting an ambush, if they have other forces nearby that aren't with the fleet we have seen, and if there are any particular preparations which have been made to repel an attack.
--[X] NOTE: Whoa wasn't specifically mentioned when listing allies to gather, but that was an oversight on my part. She should be included if available.
@Goldfish, given what we're up against, we should call on Wyla Drekelis as well. She's a wizard of the Seventh Circle and only one teleport away. We forgot to include her initially.

The vote was for available Companions and allies, some of whom I named. I didn't mention her specifically, but can it be assumed she was able to make it to the gathering, @DragonParadox?

It'll probably be best if we make an explicit list of who we expect to have. Otherwise DP will understandably leave people out, he's already got a lot to keep track of.
Just joined... Have gotten as far as 2901 in the quest so far... I am addicted, and at the same time hate you all because now I literally must go through another 10 000 or so plus whatever is added between now and then to satisfy my addiction! I am honestly afraid of how much of my hair i will rip out before i get there.. The Tiamat debacle, the doom ship... Deciding to sneak and make up an elaborate fake story for Mantarys and immediately killing the gate guard*.. I have a feeling these are minor things compared to what I have to look forward to. Glad to be here. Thanks for an awesome quest DP!
I wish i could go reader mode... But the comments are just as interesting as the story. Every arch i look forward to azel and artemis and all of ya arguing, or going wayyyy overboard just as much as the story itself. If DP is god..And he is, all the regulars over the years are the high priests of loot, draconics, swording and going way way overboard. I frickin love it and im like a month of reading away from half way!!!
Better to ask and not get an answer than not even try to learn anything about them. The Asura probably isn't protected, though the Court Mage likely is.
