@DragonParadox, other things forgotten include:
a) A report of metamorph(?)-creatures' bodies to make those damned Umbral Spies Deliste(?) so wanted after.
b) An aftermath to Valaena's journey.
Speaking of didnt we break a glacier elemental thing out of the Other hivemind when we did that ritual to free Rina way back? Whatever happened to that?
The Fungus Forge can only create Plant and Plant-like creatures, such as Fungus.
The Fungus Forge is capable of receiving, deconstructing and creating "templates", not in the game sense but the way we would refer to a template IRL, call it a recipe if you like.
As such it is possible to feed the Fungus Forge a Badger, the "template" or recipe for the Badger would then be "known" by the Fungus Forge.
You are then able to produce a Badger as long as it is Plant-like, we model this through the application of templates (the game kind) such as Plant Creature or Fungal Creature.
So if we were to melt a fey with the relevant stats or a devils with the relevant stats we could grow our own "devils" or "fey" but with plant template? @DragonParadox

Okay so find a fey with the relevant stats to melt into the forge and see where it goes from there. Got it. We are melting devils this month so we probably will get a research action?

The scent of ceder and rosewood pervaded the palace like a familiar cloak. Here and there the salty tang of the canals sneaked in like an uninvited guest through the high windows open to the misty Braavosi night. Alinor Torchwood could not help but compare it to herself as she walked across the polished marble floor, a bit of Silty Town stink in the Sealord's halls. It was a lot easier to remind herself she was supposed to be a lady in the Deep, with mages around every corner and dragons flying in the sky, than it was here in Braavos where she had been bred and born a poor tailor's daughter turned courtesan in search of a better life. But as she had reminded her own subordinates time and again, how you felt was not worth a dead snake skin when there was work to be done.
Thus boldly did she enter the presence of the Sealord of Braavos, now no longer a sovereign lord in his own right, but still a man who had been belaying the games of court and power when she was not even a sparkle in her father's eye. "The first thing we have to cover here is the military and naval spending on which I will admit I am no kind of expert, save in the very widest scope of logistics," she began, reaching out to Elaena for the first stack of parchment. "That includes a military parade, but the meat and bones of this is the retraining of Braavosi regiments and patrols into the Shivering Sea." She paused a moment, offering a slightly conspiratorial smile that came surprisingly easily. "The Volantenes are of course doing their own part even though they will not offer their own pledge until next month. They do so love their mummery for all we have more playhouses than them and better ones besides."
The 1st Legion will move to Enforce Martial Law in the Western Flatlands alongside General Gerold, administrative support from the Braavosi, and Nettles and Sheepstealer representing the Crown as Viserys' agent.
The 2nd Legion "Chainbreakers" will host a military parade through Braavos accompanied by the for-the-most-part intact Braavosi Naval Marines. The latter will be sporting redesigned dress uniforms in Imperial lines, courtesy the touch of Rhaella and Tyene with the help of her company.
The Braavosi Navy will undergo refitting in preparation for patrols in the Shivering Sea when we reach out to Ibben and Lorath.
13,000 Braavosi Levies will remain in Greater Braavos to undergo retraining into Legionnaires, where they will be split off and mixed with other newly formed Legions as they exit the pipeline.
5,000 will be sent to Westheaven immediately and be added to the groups of Myrmen, Lyseni, and Tyroshi, mostly slaves, some freemen, already being trained.
8,000 Braavosi citizen soldiers will form garrisons.
Volantis will go about retraining 6,000 veterans into "elite soldiers". The rest will "muster in different provinces with proper facilities in preparation for extended drilling".
The Volantene Navy remains at anchor.
6 Small Galleons are built. 6 Medium Galleons are built. 6 Large Galleons are built.
"You say it so lightly, my lady," Ferrego Antaryon shook his head. "That Braavos and Volantis should be united under the same crown is not something I ever thought to witness in my life, nor in truth something that seemed likely were I to live ten-thousand years."
"Is it any more incredible than magic and strange spirits around every corner?" Alinor asked lightly.
"Yes, far more so," the Sealord's reply was more serious by far. "Sorcery can do wondrous things, miracles I have even heard them called, but this empire in the making will touch far more souls than any single spell could ever hope to, draw close realms that were far apart, and doubtlessly breed new rivalries and conflicts that we here cannot even see yet. I have even heard told that the gods themselves are changed by mortal worship. If that is true then the state being now forged might change even them. Is that not more than any single miracle? That is what we here are shaping, adding our own brush strokes to the broad lines the King sets down."
"You do know how to set a woman at ease, don't you, Serenity?" she asked dryly.
"I have never received any complaints," he replied, his lips turning up only for the briefest moment. Looking at him Alinor could believe it. He must have been a bravo once, perhaps not among the most bold, but clever, very clever to be sitting in that seat so comfortably now.
She cleared her throat. "Next are the planned investments and immigration policy. Only the Astral Currents Office in Pentos directly concerns Braavosi administrators, but you might wish to spread the word about where secondary investments might be particularly profitable."
"And make some myself," the Sealord agreed before looking over the plans and hashing out the details of transferring more Braavosi clerks needed for all the expansions.
1,300,000 IM will be used to raise SSE's capital to a sum of 3,000,000 IM

Sallosh will continue colonization.
It was the sheer scale on infrastructure projects, many of which concerned Braavos and its provinces old and new, that took the discussion far into the evening, and even that was only delaying those decisions that had to be taken at the highest levels of government. The sheer bureaucratic complexity of implementing education, sanitation, guard posts, and an effective messenger system across so much of Essos was enough to leave the Sealord wondering if it could be done. Here Alinor was in her element. Numbers she knew and was at ease with. Unlike the subtle dance of courtly politics they could mean one thing and one thing only.
"In this case they mean a great many things to a great many people," Ferrego Antaryon mused when she shared the thought, taking a deeper drink of his wine than usual.

Ninth Day of the Tenth Month 293 AC
By the time they had reached the matter of rebuilding programs in Pentos and Braavos both, midnight had long since come and gone, but neither of the two were at all inclined to set aside their work. 'Sure as Drowned Town's Sinking' was a saying as old as Braavos, yet now they faced the prospect of turning back the ruthless advancement of the sea that was both the city's lifeblood and its greatest foe. Their names would likely not be remembered, neither declaimed in plays nor sung in songs, yet on that day they worked tirelessly as any general upon battle plans or sorcerer upon a magnum opus, for they knew that it was in the effectiveness of these plans that livelihoods could be lost in the short term as much as they would be vastly improved in the long term.
Pentos will have its slums reconstructed using sorcery and a ceaseless tide of new jobs in an organized and categorically complete action of infrastructure reform and improvement. Given how much of the city is a chaotic mess owing to the whims of capricious Magisters, much of this will mostly involve threatening the local administration into compliance, organizing work, food doles and temporary housing as more and more space is created that actually has better-than-humane conditions.
The terrain itself will be raised in Braavos' Drowned Town using sorcery, and the ruined buildings torn down and built over in Neo-Valyrian fashion, utilizing a black marble shot through with veins of red and reconstituting the near-forgotten mess into the newly formed Imperial District. Ragman's Harbor will also be rebuilt, expanded and improved in essentially every manner. Should geographic limitations get in the way of any of this, land formation techniques using Titan's Tools will be conducted. Once again, anger over this will be assuaged by the flood of work opened to the downtrodden, and housing is directly subsidized by the state. Anyone who would have been displaced by these actions will find their livelihoods directly secured. Those who's livelihoods might be threatened by lack thereof will be sheltered under government expense, though the number of homes created should nearly keep pace with the lines forming for such. Precedence in housing will be given to those native to Drowned Town, then those in the poorer economic demographic such as refugees, immigrants, and small business owners.
Release an additional 250,000 IM for an Emergency Relief Fund, organizing various functionaries into hiring and employing sufficient personnel such as healers, cooks, and businesses for those in major cities undergoing displacement causing activities to help such people into new employment should they lack it, better health should they suffer ailment, and relief from hunger in the wake of temporal destruction of the status quo. Given that this organization is temporary, officials will be selected from provinces with high administration and law statuses, Sorcerer's Deep, Braavos, Myr, and Tyrosh in particular, to cut down on corruption.
For once even in Braavos, that loved its masks so dearly, spywork was left to the morning, counted less urgent to begin than the great work of reclaiming lands, though with due diligence they did cover it too, for this new world had perils aplenty as much as it had opportunities to spare.
An Inquisition Base will be established in Volantis.
An Inquisition Outpost will be established in the Saltpans.

Tossing some gold to the weeping ladies church during reconstruction might not go amiss. God's like to keep an ear to the ground and corruption is an ever present problem.

[X] Speak more with Stannis -[X] We have no interest in brigands and cutthroats excusing their crimes by playing at being loyal to the Dragon Banner. If Stannis wishes, we can offer assistance in removing those who are operating in the Stormlands. --[X] If they are truly loyalists fighting in our name and their crimes not worthy of death under our legal code, they will be brought into the fold and financial compensation will be offered to their victims. If they are merely opportunists trying to legitimize their crimes by using our name, they will be brought to him to face justice as he sees fit. ---[X] If Stannis desires our assistance, we will track them down with all the resources at our disposal. If he would prefer to handle them himself, we will respect his decision and trust in his capabilities. ----[X] If Stannis doesn't want our help, instead depart Storm's End and head for Tarth to check in on Brienne. Quite some time has passed since we last spoke and it appears she has been busy.

A thunderstorm caused my power to flicker before I could post this, but it looks like for once the forum properly saved my draft, at least as best as I can tell on my phone.
Feeder
Diminutive Dragon
Hit Dice: 2d12 (13 hp) Initiative: +2 Speed: 5ft. (1 squares), fly 20 ft. (clumsy) Armor Class: 19 (+4 size, +2 Dex, +3 natural), touch 16, flat-footed 17 Base Attack/Grapple: +6/–10 Attack: Stab +8 melee (1d4-4 plus blood drain) Full Attack: Stab +8 melee (1d4-4 plus blood drain) Space/Reach: 1 ft./0 ft. Special Attacks: Blood Drain Special Qualities: Damage reduction 5/magic, darkvision 60 ft., immunity to sleep paralysis and Low-Light Vision Saves: Fort +3, Ref +5, Will +4 Abilities: Str 2, Dex 14, Con 10, Int 9, Wis 13, Cha 9 Skills: Disguise +4, Hide +19, Listen +8, Move Silently +7, Sense Motive +6, Spot +3 Feats: Alertness, Weapon Finesse Alignment: Chaotically Good
Blood Drain (Ex): A Feeder drains blood dealing 1d4 Constitution with any successful hit the creature scores with its stab attack or when used to deal damage as a dagger by another creature. The Feeder will deal another 1d4 Constitution damage on each successive round unless it is removed by the host or the opponent or until it has dealt 4 points of Constitution damage. At this point the Feeder is sated and will deal no more damage for another 24 hours. A Feeder loses its Dexterity Bonus to AC when lodged in and may be removed by an opponent with a successful grapple check.
Skills: A Feeder has +10 racial bonus when attempting to pass itself off as a dagger. An opposed Apprise or Spot check will reveal the truth. If the Apprise check fails yet would still beat a DC of 12 the individual apprising the Feeder will believe it is a masterwork dagger.
Both are pretty neat. And both would likely lead to some moral ambiguity in large scale application.
With that said some people are bound to want to make a living being soldiers pretty much until death.
While finding volunteers would be trivial, having a selection criteria for people who are unlikely to have the rest of their daily life hampered by being turned into collection of military grade wetware isn't.
In contrast I expect symbiotic armor would take literally vivisection of a person to examine nervous system and stuff to make it possible...while the subject is alive. While you can numb people with magic, I am guessing it would not provide enough data if you did.
Dragon Vassals, from Bestiary of Krynn. Especially for the Inquisition:
- A Dragon donates a single escale, which is embedded on the subject's chest.
- The Dragon can, at will, Detect Thoughts at any range while inside the same plane, send and receive thoughts, Dominate Person, Symbol of Pain, Symbol of Weakness. Can at any time see and hear what the Vassal does, through concentration.
-- These explicitly bypass even Mindblank
- The Vassal gets:
-- Any RHD go up by one size, to a maximum of d12
-- If they have 5+ HD, they get the same subtype as the Dragon (Fire for us)
-- NA +2
-- Fast Healing 5
-- Darkvision 60 ft
-- +2 Racial on all saving throws
-- STR +8, DEX +4, CON +6
-- +6 racial do Spot, Listen and Search
Perfect for spies, envoys and Inquisitors. And generally anyone, really, tho the LA would be more of an issue for those who get little use out of STR. A template that is perfectly thematic and mechanically well-balanced.
We can actually trust to have people handle incredibly sensitive stuff through this, as they die if it's ever removed.
And there is the perfect super soldier template for us:
LA +2 IIRC.

I'm mainly still wondering what it was in Sothoryos that Yss said the Valyrians were looking for. Was it any specific thing, or was it just general looting of all the ruins?
So, in Sothoryos, there is:
- Ryzneth's (port?) city.
- That city with the wild magic zone and the entrance to the Underdark, or at least to where there are more drow.
- The mountain of silver that sits nearby.
- Some other city where we got our second Lesser Quickening Rod, and Valaena failed to find the rest.
