Yes. Give it enchanted claws (or normal claw attacks with a Necklace of Natural Weapons). Problem solved !

Necklace of Natural Attacks with the properties you want should do it. Our golems already have +1 Slams IIRC.

Cheers T&T, so what do we think of making Obsidian Minotaurs with Otherbane Claws?

I believe they'd make fantastic shock troops and should rip through the Far North like Fire Infused Obsidian Claws through Ice :p

I think we're looking at 2 Claws at 2d8+6 +6d6+6 +1d6 Ref or 1d6*1d4+1 rounds.

As a side...since Jon Arryn is dead...who is Hand of the King now? I imagine Robert will appoint Ned but I also imagine that Cersei would want father dearest to help out there.

Edit: Or rather who is most likely to be Hand of the King?
I'm almost tempted to troll him, by sending him a letter, recommending one of our administrators for the job, the letter should say that we really don't have time to invade, so we are ready to send him a competent hand, so their utter incompetence wont force us to invade, to prevent them from destroying themselves.

Ha! It's 20 to midnight here in England but I am going to write an omake just for that in the morning, obviously it will be non canon but hopefully hilarious.

So guys, I underestimated just how much sprucing I had to do in order to finally merge the Kingdom sheets, but on the bright side I'm filling out my proposal for the Strategic Turn Plan on the side as I go along updating it. A lot of it is just finishing up actions uncompleted or just throwing "aid action" around here and there, so it should be done fairly quickly.

Send him one of our administrators saying he will make sure to keep everything in order when the change in management arrive.

Though Viserys is unlikely to indulge in that, I can see people decades to centuries in the future to make a skit where Viserys does just that.

@Goldfish, what do you think of getting our 46 Minotaur Fighter 2 vassals in Reinforced Segmented Adamantine Fullplate?

Medium Reinforced Segmented Adamantine Fullplate is 55 lbs.

Medium -> Large has traditionally been eight times the weight, so Large will be 440 lbs.

Equipping all 46 Minotaurs will take 20,240 lbs of Adamantine.

Needless to say our current stockpile of 672,821 lbs of Adamantine will be able to take that without a flinch.

I don't have an issue with it, but if we're making that kind of investment, we should also have our Mage-Smiths slap a +1 Enhancement bonus on the armor, too.

Effective, but very expensive. A Necklace of Natural Attacks for 2 claws, for +1 Otherbane would run like 6460 IM to craft.

It's the equivalent of two +4 weapons, plus a 600 gp tax for the amulet itself.

It'd give them +7 to hit and 6d6+7 of damage against Others, tho. "2 claws +24 (2d8+13+6d6 plus 1d6 fire)" - very, very good, that's about 43 damage per hit, also known as "about 14d6", but also specialized and expensive.

If we had the opportunity to, say, outsource a shitton of these to the OV crafters, I'd totally get a bunch.

I'm certainly not going to complain about making their armor better.

I'd also like to give them VS Greataxes.
Might as well add it to your vote tonight. It'll take a while for the Mage-Smiths to make that much Large-sized +1 Adamantine fullplate. If they get started now, or retroactively at the start of the month as soon as our Adamantine reserves got a boost, they might be ready by next month.

53,303 lbs of Aszite Steel

Mined in the shifting gloom where the depths of the Plane of Earth spill into the Shadow Plane Aszite enhances magics of darkness and stealth

Inquisition Night Stealth ops metal. Could be useful.
24,229 lbs of Dreamstone

Dreamstone looks almost like a pale green crystal to the untrained eye, but can be worked as iron despite its appearance. It is associated with abjuration magic, dreamers, and musicians.

Oh you and I are going to be good friends. Strangely resistant to magic...how interesting.

40 lbs of Thinaun

This dark, glittering steel alloy holds an attraction to souls recently released from their bodies.

I am interested in you for the power severing/contract severing blade.

Yeah roughly what I expected from your post to @Duesal, as I said I don't expect them to be our foot troops but shock troops, line breakers and a foil to the mid-range Winter Elites that will be seeded throughout the basic Wights in our larger battles.

In our current context we need a few for the wall, any ranging group can punch waaaay above it's weight class with an accompanying Minotaur and thus allow them to clear out minor barrows etc.

We should also probably put a couple specifically at that weakness in the Wall where we messed with Words of Creation, also at the Living Gate.

Good point.

-[X] SIDE NOTE: Make note to equip our 46 Minotaur Fighter 2 with Reinforced Segmented Adamantine Fullplate (total 20,240 lbs of Adamantine) and commission our mage smiths to make the armor +1 (200 IM each) -- 9,200 IM

@Goldfish @canute @egoo @One Autumn Leaf @The crazy demon @Frank_99 @Abhishek M heads up that I'm adding equipping our Minotaurs with Reinforced Segmented Fullplate. This will use 20,240 lbs of Adamantine, but this is from a stockpile of 672,821 lbs of Adamantine, so we're more than fine. Furthermore, this makes our elite tank units even more ridiculously tanky, which is always nice.

Sounds good. Is there a limit of two things we can stack on armor or can we add more things from that list @TotallyNotEvil made in the other quest?

Now they just need Otherbane Valyrian Steel Great Axes to complete the set. Or alternatively Amulets of Otherbane, Demonbane, Devilbane. Switched out when the need arises.

You need to actually make the craft check, y'know. From Fabricate: "You must make an appropriate Craft check to fabricate articles requiring a high degree of craftsmanship."

Addingin Lightweight to offset Reinforced isn't a bad move, tho.

@Crake, how goes the wrangling of the Hero units? I've got a bit of free time on my hands, so I can help hunt down various PCs we've collected.

I was thinking more Vital Coverage. But yeah. Also Ornate for the VS swords we gift to nobles?

But hmm...if you use Lightweight for Adamantium Fullplate would you actually end up saving money from the saved adamantium?
