[X] Travel to the Plane of Earth to deal with your business there
-[X] Retroactively place a standing order for 12 Glass Golems per month to be produced by the Glassmakers Guild of Myr. Cost: 118,404 IM per month.

Yeah it's getting to be kind of a problem, with the way we throw around fancy magic items, they are getting less fancy, in a couple of years, no one will bat an eye, at a Hedge Knight with a Valyrian steel sword with added enchantments.
Just wait for us equipping all Legioners with VS swords/other weapons.

And no, in not joking.
With Mammon-machine, and all the residual Devils of his we pick up, we explicitly can afford that.

We may not want to, since, well, a shitton of money... But we can.

Fuck dem Westerosi appreciation for VS, they will know fear when first Legion marches down on them in Mastercrafted Adamantine Fullplate with equally Mastercrafted VS weapons.

We absolutely want to. I want the Legions prepared for the Long Night.

Well, duh.
I meant the short-term.

Westeros doesn't need that much power invested in taking it, nor that much money.

...Gearing up one Legion though?
Yeah, that's something I want to do, surely enough so.

I mean, hell, with the PFE-banners, Adamantine Armor, VS weapons and some buffing from Scholarum mages...

Yeah, I actually expect them to be able to outright wipe even Legion Devils on even footing.

[X] Meet with Stannis Baratheon. With the bargain you've struck with Storm God, he may yet play a part larger than being but a mere Lord...

We need more detail on how plain the basic swords are - any sword gifted to someone should have some detail on the intricacy of the filigree.

A hedge knight may have a plain looking, basic-ass *cough*Valyrian-Steel+5-of-Ouchiness*cough* sword, but does it have his heraldry intertwined powerfully with that of the king's, with emeralds enchanted to ever twinkle like stars in the darkest night, and a scabbard which proclaims his house words in bardic song, granting bonuses to valor!?

So yeah - more detail on shiny presents for shiny people, and plain but effective shite for the mudbooters.

Hey, @Goldfish.
Remember how you said that we won't be able to ensure taht Adamantine Mine will stay closed if we go and wreck it now?

Well, I just had an idea how we can, possibly manage that, and make a huge distraction for Efreeti in the process.
Bear with me...

Step 1: We go and fish out the Char-serpent out of lava.
If it shows itself reasonable enough, and willing to co-operate...

Step 2: Feed it to bursting with Devils.
How much Devils? Approximately 500 HD we'll have left in Larder after this month's sacrifice.

Step 3: We have it reproduce, and pump out as many horrible abominations of everything Good and Divine as it can.
We also have it bound, by Oath (to Yss and Jazzirian, maybe?), that after the war with Efreeti is over, it and it's "children" will enter our Emperium as subjects, with all benifits and responsibilities.

Step 4: We go and wreck the mine. Flood the place with lava. And release the Char-serpents inside to make the nest there.
We'll, of course, take the mine back after the Efreeti are dealt with.

The end result?
Mine is overtaken by a bunch of high-CR monsters that can perfectly orient in lava-flooded caverns.
The territory around the Mine becomes incredibly dangerous for Efreeti to sail through.
We get to set some forces there too, probably.

And the best part is, we can even probably sustain them as citizens of Emperium.
Mammon-machine would be decent enough in pumping out Devil-essense they seem to enjoy so much (as well as Efreeti, from DP's descriptions), methinks.
And later?
They would be just wonderful to use against Devils.

I applaud your creative application of Evil, but this sounds a bit too likely to unleash a devastating plague of high end Undead upon the Plane of Fire.

Basically, it all hinges upon what we see when we fish it out.

I have some hope for it not being comletely uncontrollable.
Worst case, we have Yss to feed and slightly modify the tempalte of the Char-serpent-

No, wait.
Worst case is us killing it, with no further use.

An extra 2d6 of damage for each bane
2d6+2, as you get an extra +2 enhancement with bane too.

So a "plain" VS Otherbane weapon would cost 3000 IM to enchant (as the VS's inherent enhancement only counts as +1 for enchanting), and against the Others, or something that triggers all three Bane effects, would be a +8 weapon with 6d6 bonus damage.

Bane is really good when you can plan for it.

Having one of these for each proper champion is going to come in handy for sure.

I'm hoping one of our future Warforged will level up fast enough to be worth an Otherband weapon.
